1] Don't bump threads that are still on the first page. There's no need to do it and you're cluttering up your roleplay with spam.
2] Misplaced threads will be deleted without warning.
3] If you have a problem with someone in the guild, (not up to par with guild standards, they're spamming up your thread, etc.) come to me with evidence and I'll see what I can do to put an end to it.
4] Correct spelling and grammar. Mistakes are expected, but there is always time to review a post before submitting it. Correct all mistakes to the best of your ability before hitting the shiny "submit" button. Use a spell check if you have to.
5] Two paragraphs per post minimum. Two paragraphs, as in five to-ten well-developed, well-thought sentences, (depending on content.) There is always something to write about if you relax and think about what you can do. Rush it, and you may have a problem. Let the words flow. If writing eight to ten sentences is too hard, this isn't the place for you. This is a guild for writers for crying out loud! 2 paragraphs should be a piece of cake!
6] Type in third person, past tense. There are some exceptions to this rule. There have been entire roleplays conducted in first person. But unless permission is granted, it is expected that everyone type in third person, past tense. Thats how most stories are written too...
7] No symbols to depict actions. Anyone inside the guild found using symbols will be banned. Why? For not reading this requirement and because we post in novel format. The symbols aren't needed and it's annoying. Like I said, this is a writers guild. We know how to write. There can be exceptions to the rules depending on the type of RP. I've been in an RP where it was a computer type simulator and while in the simulator we had to use symbols to describe movements. Just get permission from either the Crew Moderator, the Vice Captain, or me before you try to use symbols.
8] In the RP, the rules the RP creator uses are to be followed. If the Creator says not to do something, and that rule does not go against the Guild or Gaia rules, then follow it. If the Creator decides to god mode in their own RP then thats their choice.
9] Follow Gaia rules first and foremost. Then the Guild Rules, and then the RP rules.
10] The PG-13 rule is an all important must when RPing. Romance is accepted, but don't make it lude, crude, or rude.
11] A Crew Moderator has the right to move or delete a post without warning if the post breaks the rules or is in the wrong sub forum.
