Rules

Even though we have rules for each sub forum, there are general rules for the guild as well. Make sure you read them, understand them, and follow them with every post and action you take within the guild.

1.) Please post in the sub forum that is corresponding with your topic. Don't just post wherever you feel like.

2.) No heavy profanity. Explative explative explative is not all right. The occasional one in RP's are fine, but they are not tolerated all the time and you will be black listed from the guild if you cannot adhere to the rules.

3.) Gaia TOS states everything needs to stay PG-13. I don't want this guild closed and my time and cash wasted because someone posted inappropriate material to be immature.

4.) Be respectful. Treat others the way you want to be treated and get along with everyone else. Criticism is fine, as long as it is constructive. Don't put anyone down, help them up.

5.) If any of the Crew or higher gives you a warning, or tells you to stop doing something, heed it. You will be black listed if you cannot follow rules.

6.) You must be literate! Internet grammar occasionally is fine, but myself and everyone else must be able to understand you! This is a writing guild, so we expect all of our members to be able to construct correct grammar.

7.) Follow the sub forum rules, and Gaia's TOS. That's easy enough.

Follow these rules and the rules in the sub forums and no one will ever have a problem. However, if you are unable to follow the rules, or cause a problem within the guild, you will be banned.

Chain of Command (COC)

I'm in the Army, so we are gonna call it our Chain of Command. This is the levels of members within the guild, and who has permissions to tell you what is right and wrong to do.

Captain
First and foremost is the Captain of the guild. This is the highest level, and they are responsible for whatever might, or will, happen within the guild. Most of the time the Captain will just handle major issues such as fights between members and the crew, discipline, and guild updates and maintenance. There is only one Captain at a time, and that's all there ever will be.

Vice Captain
The Vice Captain is pretty much the same as the Captain of the guild, and there will only be one Vice Captain at a time. The only differences between the VC and Captain are the Vice doesn't take care of everything the Captain does. They are only here in case the captain is unavailable.

Main Crew
The Main Crew are in charge of moderating all sub forums and filling out disiciplinary forms for the Captain. This is the highest level a crew member can be. There can be multiple Main Crew, and there will be more if the population grows.

Basic Crew
Basic Crew are Crew members that are in charge of one sub forum at a time. They are charged with upholding the rules in that sub forum. If a member disagrees with a Basic Crew, then it climbs to Main crew and so on.

Members
Everyone is a member of the guild. It is not a members job to uphold the rules or make sure the guild is in the best shape it can be. Basic members are here to have fun and post. If a member sees something wrong, you can fill out a report and send it to the crew in charge of that sub forum.

Sub Forums

In the main forum, you can post hello and it's for general discussion. Everyone should introduce themselves there when they first join the guild. Here are brief descriptions of every sub forum.

Crew
For Crew members to discuss... Things.

Poetry
The name basically says it all. This will be where you post all of your poetry. whether it's free verse or rhyme. Any type can go here, and we all look forward to reading it.

Short Stories
This is where your short stories, Novels, or any type of writing that has chapters or may have chapters in the future will go.

Music
This is where we will post lyrics, or original songs that you can request. It's also where we can discuss various artists, and what we are listening to at the moment.

Role Play
This is where all the RP fun takes place. You can start your own RP, and invite members to join.

Talk!
You can talk about anything and everything in this sub forum, as long as it follows the rules. It can be OOC for an RP you have, or about other topics that aren't covered in a sub forum.

Reporting

Reporting is simple as long as you know how to fill out a form and what to do.
