This roleplay is about Bleach, and takes place several thousand years after the Aizen incident. During this time the Soul Society has been practically destroyed. This is because Soul Society kept the same system of power and had kept the exact same tactics used to fight against the Hollows all this time. But, while Soul Society might not have changed, the Hollows did. They became smarter. Given that Soul Society's strength laid almost entirely with the Captains and Vice-Captains what if, the Hollows theorized, they got rid of them? And so they did. One by one all the Captains and Vice-Captains of Soul Society were drawn out into the world of the living. And, one by one, all the Captains and Vice-Captains were not defeated, but sealed away.

The Hollows had perfected a secret weapon Aizen had left behind. It was soon to be dubbed "Vizcariz". It was a cube like weapon that could, in theory, manipulate the flow of time. While it was not quite that effective, it did manage to have a devestating effect upon Soul Society: It was capable of "trapping" specific periods of time. The Hollows used this ability to trap all the Captains and Vice-Captains in Soul Society. They were frozen in time, or, more specifically, frozen in an alternative dimension.

However, there was a flaw with the Vizcariz that was soon discovered; it could only trap twenty six individuals at most. Thus, while the Hollows were able to trap all the Captains and Vice-Captains, they were capable of trapping not one person more. In response to this, the Hollows did two things: The first was that they split the Vizcaris into five fragments. Four of the five fragments each held three Captains and three Vice-Captains. These four fragments were distributed amongst several powerful Hollow. The fifth fragment was given to the leader of them, the "mastermind", so to speak. This fifth fragment contained the Captain-Commander and his Vice-Captain. This fragment was to be experimented with, in order to figure out how to overcome the inability of the Vizcariz to trap more.

Not only that, but splitting the Vizcaris had a very nasty, albiet unintended effect. It changed all of Soul Society; it altered the very seasons themselves. No longer did Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer exist- all split into four of the five fragments. Because of this, Soul Society quickly began to deteriorate. No weather, little sign of life...It, in all honestly, quickly started to take on many characteristics of Hueco Mundo. However, while the four fragments may have each taken away an individual season, the fifth fragment gave the final blow. It altered the flow of the seasons; meaning that, even if one or more of the other fragments were destroyed and the seasons reverted, the fifth fragment would still have a devestating effect on Soul Society. It could be Winter one moment and Summer the next.

The second thing to be done...The Hollows began to systematically eliminate all Soul Reapers remaining. Several months into the future (at present time) there is only a pathetic sum left: Perhaps not even peaking 100.
