PLEASE DO NOT POST HERE, Thank you. ~*Welcome to WildARMs*~ Hello Everyone, Rosen here. It seems to me that we're all enjoying the WildARMs roleplay. But I feel that we should all be on a better understanding of the world of Filgaia. So, in that light, I will be posting some basic info for everyone here.
First up, some basics:
Filgaia: A once beautifully rich world of green and blue. That is... until the Decay came. No one truely knows when the Decay set in, but when it did, the land began to shrivel up into what is known today as the "Wastelands." There still exisits some rare spots of green, but water is scarce, and food is limited to towns lucky enough to be able to grow them. Stranger still, the Decay began not long ago... yet people have a hard time remembering the world when it was green...
Drifters: Traveling gunsmen and women that brave the wastelands and everything in them. Thier self-proclaimed titles or reasons for traveling range anywhere from Bounty Hunters, Treasure Seekers, Justice Enforcers, and even Researchers. But due to thier shifty nature, many have come to distrust Drifters even among Drifters themselves. Many bloody rivalries have been known.
Gella: The standard coinage of Filgaia. Excepted everywhere.
Dragon Fossils: Strange materials that are found randomly across the landscape of the world. There are legends surrounding these fossils, but none seem to fully discribe thier exisitance. They are the primary material for creating ARMs
ARMs: Guns, Rifles, Revolvers, all are ARMs. A weapon a Drifter rarely travels without. Some ARMs are known for containing special accessories, or abilities... but these are mostly found belonging to the most experianced Drifter.
*Guardians:: Guardians are the life force of Filgaia, and there are many in thier ranks. The Baskar are the only fw on the planet that still hold a strong connection with these entities, but if a Drifter is ever so deemed worthy enough, they will be bestowed with a "Medium" a small plaque that allows for the Drifter to summon the powers of the Guardian with verious effects (called Arcana). Each one has a different "Element" or Specialty attached to them that they govern. Guardians known thus far: Water [Schturdark] (Ace Charlissa) and Fire [Moor Gault] (Vance)
*This catagory might be moved elsewhere later. Thank you.

~*:TOWNS and TRAIN STATIONS:*~ Towns of the Filgaia: These are the exisiting towns that sustain the majority of Filgaia's population. Very few live outside of them, other than Drifters who usually claim no hometown. Towns in Red, Train Stations in Blue
Baskar Colony: The home village of the Baskars located at the base of a cliff, practically in the center of the world map. Quite and peaceful in it’s somewhat secluded location, the Baskar live their lives and practice their beliefs of the old world traditions.
Jolly Roger: Far south of Baskar Colony is Jolly Roger. This port town serves as the gate to the outer sea (more on this later). It was once a major port, but now serves as a stop for those looking for a Sandcraft to travel. A major stop for any Drifter lookin’ to travel off land.
Midland Station: Exactly that, a train station, nothing really exciting here other than passing trains and a few travelers. It sits between Baskar Colony and Jolly Roger, it serves as a connection through the mountains to Westwood station.
Claiborne: A comfortable and well kept ranching community east of Midland station. Need a horse? This is your place! Best and most loyal horses are breed here. It’s a typical spot to rest one’s weary load, and a good place to stop due to it’s location between Jolly Roger and Little Twister.
Westwood: Another train station located west of Claiborne, it does not serve as a route to Little Twister.
Little Twister: A stark contrast to the peaceful Claiborne, Little Twister was once a booming frontier town, although, now it’s more like a ghost town than anything else. Located in the rougher climate, this town has grown to hold a seedy reputation among Drifters. Want to pick a fight? This might be the place.
Little Rock: North west of Little Twister is the Sand Canal, the only connection between the eastern desert, and the western cliff-side town of Little Rock. Once a promising mining site of the rare Dragon Fossils, but when the mines grew dry, so did the town. Luckily, today it has grown as a outpost for those looking to travel from Little Twister and further westward.
Humphrey’s Peak: A beautiful town located around the bend of mountains from Little Rock. The town is wealthy, and once boasted a town-side river that has since dried up. None the less, the land is still good, and many people settle here for a quiet life.
East Highlands: Another train station found due west of Humphrey’s Peak.
Dune Canyon: A train station located beyond the mountains south of East Highlands and Humphrey’s Peak. Not much out this way that many people outside of Humphrey’s Peak know of.
Boot Hill: Located far south (furthest south on the map) of Jolly Roger, and almost cut off from the rest of the world outside of the train station nearby, Boot Hill is a land of crops. Yep. Most of the world’s existing crops are found coming from this rich community of farmers, known for it‘s rich soil and seemingly untouched landscape. Not much here for Drifters though. There was a mansion not far from here where a business rival to the now standard Roykman Merchant family used to rein… tho’ it’s now known to harbor a gang of troublesome gobs.
Southfarm: The train station due east and around the bend from Boot Hill.
Sunset Peak: A train station located… wha?
Lexisland: Located far to the north, and high upon the hills, Lexisland is what some would call a “Last Resort”. Harsh, windy climate, and a generally… odd population of people can be found here in this circular-walled town. Many local legends can be heard from here relating to the past and use of Dragon Fossils. But through the search of these legends embarking from this town, many have lost their lives, some their sanity.
Ballack Rise: located across the sea’s straight, just north of where Baskar Colony is, is Ballak Rise. A strange place, but welcoming community located high on top of a cliff overlooking the sea. The town is known for it’s odd construction, for it’s something of a gathered tower of homes and shops instead of the spread out towns of the rest of the world. There’s a particular drink in the local bar that’s popular for those suffering from poison…

Items
Lets face it, when your out there in the Wastelands, you need something to sustain you! Here's a list of items that will help along the way:
*Due to the Decay of Filgaia, things like Berries and the like are very rare to find nowadays (Thus Ace's reaction to Andy's trade)*
~*:Status Items:*~ Heal Berries: A large yellow fruit that resembles a rasberry in shape. It can restore a little health, and hey, having some on hand is pretty convient.
Potion Berries: Large blue fruits, much like Heal Berries in size in shape, only they are much more potent than thier Yellow siblings.
Revive Fruits: A basic tomato-looking fruit that can bring someone back from the "Fallen" status.
Antidote: A green leaf from an unkown plant. Used to cure "Poison" status.
~*:Misc:*~
Dragon Fossils: Used as material for ARMs
