The Story: In a top secret research facility somewhere in America (Area 51), All of their expensive experiments are tested on a pair of mutant teens. From military weapons to various other insignificant things. These two also are solders that carry out top secret assassinations! How do the two cope with such a terrible life?

The other Scientists noticed the change int he young mutant and they were temporarily separated. The mutant's high cerebral functions make him useful in combat situations in many different ways.  Once upon a time....The athletic build young man sat in his 'room' while feeling the usual cold dampness of the world around him. His sharp blue eyes focused on the lazor beam bars in front of him which used to cause him to wince from the bright obnoxious glow. In his mind he thought about the other mutant like himself that resided in this military facility. Thorn? Cna yah here me? The young man had a gruff way of saying thing while slicking back his hair. you know they're gonna have us fight each other tomorrow right? He thought hoping that the telepath could hear him. there lived a witch...

"I hear ya, Mitch." the younger mutant responded, stirring, as he lay almost motionless on the small bed in his 'room. "They'll force us, won't they. Even if we refuse." Thorn said, more statement then question. He heard whispers of sneaky, reedy voices beneath his bed. "I think there are rats in my room, I hear them talking. Creepy.... Probably mutated ones, too..." he told Mitch, trying to draw a laugh out of him.

Once upon a time....Mitch chuckled lightly in his mind while looking cold and serious on the out side. I remember the last time they did this with another mutant.....it was this girl mutant that had the power to become invisible.....they still found her and did horrible things to her cause she did not fight... The raven haired man thought while remembering that girl. He then spotted a guard walking over to his cell while holding something in his hand...it was a shot gun. Mitch's sharp blue eyes narrowed while seeing the rather reckless weapon. Thorn watch yourself...the guards are acting weird! there lived a witch...

Thorn looked up as his guard paced in front of his room. "I wonder what the hell is going on...they're planning something, I can sense it. Even the trees and animals are restless....I don't like this.." he responded. He adjusted his position on the bed, keeping his eyes on the guard, making sure to keep the connection between him and Mitch open.

Once upon a time....Mitch growled while glaring at the guard for a good long moment until he got up off the floor and walked over to the laser bars. "What the ******** is going on...usually you guys are pretending to be doing something!" He barked at the older man while his sharp eyes focused on him.
The guard laughed at the older teen while pointing the shot gun not at him...but at Thorn. "We're checkin up on you two for the big fight tamarrow!" He spoke. "We're lookin to see who to bet on!" The man laughed right in Mitch's face which caused mitc's eyes to narrow in a slightly primal ******** you!" Mitch grumbled while seeing the barrel being pointed at the younger mutant. The young man clenched his fists tight as he simply watched. there lived a witch...

"You actually have money to bet with?" Thorn asked, sarcastically.
The guard glared at him, muttering about having to guard stupid homo kids. "Seriously, where did you get the idea I'm 'homo'?" Thorn asked, using air quotes. "Oh yeah, must have been that time I tried to seduce the one young guard, I was just trying to get him to let me out. Not my fault you are homophobic." Thorn said, simply. The guard just growled, slinking away. "Damn, I love pushing his buttons..." he said, mentally.

Once upon a time....After a while the guard left while still muttering about gay mutants. Plural! Mitch's sharp blue eyes looked away from the guard while hating that word. Homo. He then actually tried to keep his thought from Thorn for a short moment for he actually was gay...and had very strong feelings for the younger man yet he could not allow the guards to know he had a weakness. he sighed while remaining very quiet. Roughly five minutes passed until he spoke in his mind letting the telepath in, The hell did you mean you tried to seduce a guard? He asked while in his mind he though about himself crossing his arms while raising an eyebrow. there lived a witch...

Thorn lay back on his bed, giggling......yes, giggling...... "You remember that one young guard they had in here for a short time? Well, I think I scared him off. He was standing near my room, so I flirted with him and tried to convince him to let me out. I would have just used mind control, but those damn scientists give the guards something that blocks that. Anyways, the seduction did not work.... guess I'm not that...seductive..." he laughed, mentally. "Oh my gawsh, you should of seen Lord Squinty Frown's face when I flirted with the young guard....." he added, calling the homophobic guard the nickname Thorn had come up with, he sent Mitch a mental picture of Lord Squinty Frown's face.

Once upon a time....Mitch couldn't help but laugh while hearing the other giggling. the highly inelegant young man sighed to himself while closing his mind off to the other for a short moment. Oddly Mitch was very attracted to Thorn to the point where he would get *coughs* aroused just by talking to the other. Hey Thorn...I'm a bit tired.... He thought in his mind sot hat thorn would hear him, I'm just gonna rest for a bit... He thought for a moment and then blocked the other from prodding at his mind. The raven haired man then laid on his bed while facing the wall and simply closing his sharp sapphire eyes. He then bit down on the pillow to make him completely silent as he took care of himself. there lived a witch...

Thorn sighed, a wave of loneliness washing over him. He cocked his head to the sound, listening carefully. Leaning over the edge of his bed he came face to face with a red eyed monster. He squealed, jumping onto his bed. "Holy s**t!" he cursed, as the large rat scurried out from beneath his bed. "Geez, that is offending..." the rat hissed, creepily. It scurried off beneath the bars.

Once upon a time....Mitch heard Thorn squeal whiel seeing a rather large rat scamper into his very own cell. The raven haired man let the pillow out of his mouth while fixing his pants. He then walked over to the damn ugly rat while his own cheeks were red from embarrassment...and pure lust. Quickly, before the rat saw anything, he kicked the rat out of his cell as speeds way over one hundred miles per hour. He then sighed and returned to his bed whiel making sure that Thorn could not enter his mind...for as he was 'taking care of himself' that is the only thing he was thinking of..... there lived a witch...

"Damn rats....you'd think a place like this would at least have decent exterminators.." Thorn muttered quietly to himself. He reached out with his mind to speak to the trees.
"Cars.....passing..annoying." the trees always spoke haltingly, except the wise old oaks. They of course were smarter.
