Wonderland is not the kind of place where one should go alone. Ruled by the Queen of Hearts, head of the Heart family and supreme Queen of Wonderland, the world is dark, and unfriendly, with only a few rebels opposing the Queens rule still alive. Due to the tyrannical rule of the Queen and her family and minions, many have been forced to fight for their lives, and thus have gained abilities above and beyond what they once thought possible.
One day Alice wakes up in a meadow in Wonderland, disorientated, lost and confused, and with no memory of who, or where, she is besides a handkerchief with Alice embroidered in a corner. With nowhere to go but straight ahead, Alice wanders into the Wonderland Forest, where our story begins...

 PLOT
The current Queen of Hearts is not the rightful ruler. She banished her sister, the rightful Queen, and took her throne. Due to this shift in the natural order, Wonderland has fallen into chaos, with friends betraying each other in order to survive. The Rebels are searching for the true Queen, while trying to thwart the Heart Family at every turn.
The Heart Family on the other hand are trying to gain more and more control over the inhabitants of Wonderland, while trying to find and kill the few remaining members of the Rebels.

RULES 1. READ THE STORY. Really, you must read it to understand it, and it is not long. Reading a couple of sentences won't hurt you.
2. Gun (that’s me) and Oh! are the gods of this RP. Whatever we say, goes.
3. PG-13 EVERYONE I don't care if you get involved romantically (which is encouraged) or just want to beat the crap out of someone (with their permission of course) just obey the Gaia rules okay? I cannot reiterate that enough.
4. 3 lines minimum. I am dead serious about this one. I swear, I will hunt down whoever dares to post anything less. And trust me, I have a nasty bite. Even if I do look cute.
5. You need to be committed This will be a long term RP. So, if you are only planning to have something to do during your one week off, don't join! And if you are leaving/will be away for a while, PM me! If you don't PM me with an explanation about your absence, I will send you one notification PM and if you don't respond to that within a week, I will permanently delete you from the RP. Harsh, I know, but someone’s gotta be.

7. Cursing is allowed (I feel that it might just be necessary) but keep it to an extent.

CHARACTERSThere are a limited amount of characters, so first come is first served, I am afraid. If you want a character, post the profile you wish to summit. You may have more than one character, but let's leave it at a maximum of two characters per person, m'kay? The Rebels are those opposed to the Queen’s rule and who hope to over throw her. They use their abilities to help each other and fight the Queen and her underlings.
Alice [TAKEN]: Alice is a quaintly logical girl, sometimes even pedantic. Alice wakes up in Wonderland alone and lost with no memory of who, or where she is. Alice is a very curious child, always asking questions and wandering around.
Ability:- Due to her curious nature, Alice often times finds herself wanting to crawl into tight spaces, or look over the tops of trees. This aspect of her personality granted Alice the ability to shrink or grow larger at will. She can shrink herself to 3 inches, or grow herself to over 30 feet. Her abilities are tied to her emotions, however, so they sometimes get out of control when she is overly emotional.
The Cheshire Cat [TAKEN]: The Cheshire Cat's grin is reminiscent of a trickster; intelligent yet mischievous. The Cat sometimes raises philosophical points that annoy or baffle others. He often speaks in riddles and gives cryptic and sometimes nonsensical advice.
Ability:- The Cheshire Cat has the ability of invisibility. He can become partially, or fully, invisible at will. He can decide as to who sees him and who cannot at a given time; showing himself to one person among a group of many if he so wishes.
The Caterpillar [TAKEN]: The Caterpillar is a hookah-smoking Oracle. The Caterpillar does not immediately talk to people and when he does, it is usually in short, rather rude sentences, or difficult questions. Due to his hookah-smoking tendencies, the Caterpillar does not partake in his role as an Oracle, dismissing nearly everything as a hallucination, even those around him.
Ability:- The Caterpillar, as an Oracle, has the ability to see and predict the future, though he does not believe in his ability, thinking the things he sees are due to his hookah-smoking, therefore he does not mention his visions to others until after, or just before, they occur.
The Mad Hatter [TAKEN]: The Mad Hatter escaped being sentenced to death by the Queen of Hearts; he was accused of ‘murdering the time’ but escaped decapitation. He came to the conclusion that time was indeed ‘murdered’ and thus he and the March Hare constantly have tea as if time had indeed stopped. He is a fanatic of time; obsessed with time and clockworks, and considers himself to be a genius.
Ability:- The Mad Hatter has an obsession with clockwork and steam-powered technology. He sees himself as a genius and misunderstood inventor, inventing wild and fantastical machines and contraptions, as well as being able to fix nearly anything mechanical.
The March Hare [TAKEN]: The March Hare, like the Mad Hatter, is constantly having tea as if time had stopped. The March Hare is often deliriously confused, often repeating herself and forgetting what she said.
Ability:- The March Hare, through her absent-mindedness and confusion, acquired the ability to be able to repeat/relieve time, ranging from repeating the same hour to the same day. This ability presented itself as a way for her to remember what had previously occurred and to prevent confusion, however, due to her delirious nature, the ability often increases her own, and others, confusion.
* * * * The Heart Family is the ruling family of Wonderland. The Queen of Hearts is a hereditary title passed down from mother-to-daughter, so the Queen of Hearts is really the Queen of Wonderland.
The Queen of Hearts [TAKEN]: The Queen of Hearts is a foul-tempered monarch, and is seen by many as a ‘a blind fury’, who is quick to decree death sentences at the slightest offense. The current Queen of Hearts is an insane, murderous dictator who rules over Wonderland without mercy. She offers an interesting approach towards justice: sentence before verdict.
Ability:- The Queen of Hearts has the ability to influence weak minds around her. She is able to control and manipulate weak-willed minds only, those with a strong will do not succumb to her mental powers. This ability can only be used on a small amount of people at a time, the larger the group she is trying to manipulate, the more concentration it takes for her, and she can become quite ill if she is forced to control minds for a great length of time.
The King of Hearts [TAKEN]: The King of Hearts is not an actual King, the title is passed down to those chosen by the Queen to be her head-adviser. The King of Hearts is the moderate part of the Wonderland government, often quietly pardoning many of the subjects the Queen has ordered to be beheaded when the Queen is not looking. This guarantees few people are actually beheaded. However, the King is very juvenile, often killing those he has pardoned due to reasons of his own.
Ability:- Due to his role as an adviser, the King has gained the ability to tell whether he is being lied to. He uses this ability to find rebels among the servants, and punishes them accordingly.
The Knave of Hearts [TAKEN]: The Knave of Hearts is another title which is passed down, and is given to the head of the Heart Family’s Secret Police. The Knave, a former thief, is indifferent, cold and defensive; never letting anyone in.
Ability:- The Knave of Hearts is very stealthy, and is able to sneak past people, and into houses undetected. He used his ability to further his career as a thief prior to being made the new Knave of Hearts.
The Duchess [TAKEN]: The Duchess is an ally to the Heart Family. She has a split personality, appearing rude, arrogant and cruel one moment, and caring, gentle and flirtatious the next. The Duchess lives in Wonderland in a small palace just outside the Caterpillar's forest.
Ability:- As the Duchess has split personality, she is able to split herself through astral projection. While in her astral form, her body is comatose and vulnerable, this is why she has servants to watch over her.
The White Rabbit [TAKEN]: The White Rabbit is the Herald of the Queen of Hearts, and so is terrified above anything of being late around her. Even so, he has the most logic out of all the Wonderland characters. Thus, he is often the straight man for their zany antics. One characteristic of the White Rabbit is his constant effort of punctuality; he is never seen without his pocket-watch, and he always seems to be two steps ahead of everyone.
Ability:- Due to his dependency with his pocket-watch and constant need for punctuality, the White Rabbit has the ability to stop time for 1 minute once he opens his pocket-watch. The ability takes great effort, and so is only used in times of dire need. Personality Alice is curious by nature, always trying to get into places she should not go. She is very logical and to the point, and gets easily angered by nonsensical people. She wants to know about everything, often asking questions that seem rude due to her curiosity.

Personality Cold, calculating and ruthless, Beatrice is foul-tempered and foul-mouthed. Power has corrupted this young girl, and she is slightly insane, often times yelling "Cut off their heads!" to thin air.
Short biography Beatrice was born the second sister, and therefore is not the rightful Queen of Wonderland. Bitter and spiteful due to this fact, she disposed of her older sister and seized the throne as a tyrant. She rules Wonderland with an iron fist.
Appearance Slim, willowy and dark, Beatrice looks alluring. Her blue eyes are hooded, and her long black hair sweeps behind her. Her skin is pale, and often cold to touch. She wears dresses with heart patterns on them, to show off her Status as the Queen of Hearts.

Personality At first glance, the Mad Hatter appears quite calm and even approachable. It is only after you engage him in conversation however, that one realises that he is referred to as "mad" for a reason. His demeanor is manic and intensive, and he addresses you with a piercing gaze that is difficult to look away from. Everything is a joke to the Hatter, with nothing ever taken seriously, especially the lives and short-comings of other people. He takes tremendous pleasure in befuddling people with unanswerable riddles and quirky tendencies. He's constantly under the impression that things need to be be fixed, often plucking things right out of people's hands in order to "improve" them.
Short biographyThe Mad Hatter is not entirely sure where he came from, who he is, or pretty much anything, for that matter. He thinks it possible that he used to have a name and a place in the world, but if he did, it escapes him now. It doesn't matter much to him, as he is now perfectly content with his life, aiding the rebels in their cause.
He escaped being sentenced to death by the Queen of Hearts; he was accused of ‘murdering the time’ but escaped decapitation. He came to the conclusion that time was indeed ‘murdered’ and thus he, the March Hare, and the Dormouse constantly have tea as if time had indeed stopped. He is a fanatic of time; obsessed with time and clockworks, and considers himself to be a genius. Though "a little over-proud" when it comes to his creations, they prove to be valuable assets to many o the rebels.
Appearance The immediate impression that that one gets of the Hatter is "a gangley hobo from the victorian era who got transported through time and now works repairing automobiles."
His tossled hair resembles straw, and his eyes are a faded grey. His face seems to be permanently fixed into an expression of utter befuddlement. In fact, it is a common belief that the only situations in which he doesn't look like a man who has just witnessed a shorn gorilla in a sombrero dancing the tango in front of him would be when he is in moments of pure enlightenment, in a coma, or dead.
He has very few items of clothing, and all of them are patched, torn and scruffy. Whether he's wearing a shirt or not depends entirely on whether he can afford one at the time or not. More often than never, he is covered in oil and grease stains. As a matter of fact, he can't entirely remember the original colour of his skin. He has long since come to the conclusion that the answer to that question is grey/brown/black.
When unsettled, he suffers a from a variety of nervous ticks, such as cricking his neck, finger tapping and the likes. He has a tendency to forget to blink, especially when engaging with others.
He has trained one of his contraptions to follow him around. He refers to it as "Teapot Dog", aptly named due to the fact that it has a teapot for a head and moves like a dog. It's steampowered, with it's own furnace and two brass boilers on it's back, with the dual purpose of keeping it going and keeping the tea warm, for whenever he wants it.

Personality The King of Hearts often conveys a personality more worthy of a brat prince than the regal title he was given. Though not an official monarch, he uses his authority as Advisor to the Queen as though he actually was royalty, dishing out orders from behind the curtain, always keen on getting others to do his handy work for him.
He is unfailingly loyal to the queen, not out of respect, but because he is terrified of her, for if she were to order his death, there would be no one to oppose her decission. Though he enjoys his position and authority in the castle otherwise, he is almost constantly in a state of utter paranoia as to whether the Queen will approve of what he does or not. When he is not with her, (rare, him being her advisor) he relaxes, and becomes quite mouthy, demanding and offensive.
He is very obsessive compulsive when it comes to matters of clenliness, which hinders him terribly when it comes to such simple things as eating and going outside.
Short biography The pride and gem of his noble branch of the Heart family. Though he was the youngest of five brothers, (the oldest of which should have been granted the title of the King of Hearts) he was chosen for the position due to his unique ability to instantly tell if another person is lying. He was promised this position at a very early age and consequently was lavished with attention by his parents, while his brothers, soured with jealousy, were ignored. They would take to bullying him whenever their parents weren't around to witness.
Once he was finally granted his promised position as the King of Hearts, he decided that his four brothers should be punished for their misdeeds, and quietly had each of them assassinated, one by one. He even went to the extent of ensuring that none of their bodies remained so that his parents could use the money intended for their funerals for gifts for their youngest son instead.
Appearance The King of Hearts is extremely nit picky about the quality and cut of his clothing and revolts at the concept of his appearance being soiled in any way. As Head Advisor and an esteemed official for the ruling family, there is normally a uniformal quality to the way he dresses, and he rarely sways from this style, believing that appearing any other way would degrade his authority. Though very young and of quite short stature, he still manages to give the impression that he is looking down on those around him.

Personality Always armed with a grin, no one would assume the inner turmoil of the Cheshire Cat. He teases with riddles and grins and turns people away. At first meeting with him, most would assume he was rude and obnoxious, even though it's not how he wants to come across. It's just a habit. He also never lets anyone see him without his trademark grin and has a bad habit of running away when things get too hard for him.
Short bio...at least 2-3 sentences When the war first began, he was accidentally caught by the Queen of Heart's guard and was sentenced to death for no reason that he was told of. He managed to escape deaths hand by turning invisible and staying that way until an actual Rebel group emerged. Even now he stays invisible most of the time just to be cautious.
Appearance Although he likes to stay hidden, he is actually fairly good looking despite his cat-like tendencies. He's tall at an even six foot, very thin (from not eating much since he's in hiding), with pale skin and bright blue eyes, although you can only see one eye because he lost his right eye when he was caught by the queen's guard. He has a long bushy purple-striped tale, brown cat ears and brown hair. He's usually dressed in something eccentric and purple and is always smiling his trademark grin. He never lets anyone see anything else, when he's upset he turns invisible and won't re-emerge for a long time.

Short bio...at least 2-3 sentences Knave was abandoned as a baby, raised by a castle soldier. joining the queens army at 14 he quickly rose through the ranks due to his unmatched skill with a blade and ruthless cold nature. the tale of Knave single handedly fighting off 9 enemy soldiers earned him the queens attention. when Beatrice was taking over, she recruited Knave to clear the path for her, Knave then became a Mercenary for hire until the current Queen of Hearts found him and named him as her Knave. while in charge of the Day to Day operation of Queen Beatrices Army his real power lies in his ability to gather information which the Queen uses to her advantage, a master infiltrator and tactician he has earned the wrath of the current King of Hearts. he is guilty for the executions of many of the Queens enemies and countless other crimes committed all in the name of duty.the King knowing a lot of things Knave wished he didn't has different ideas for him.
Appearance Knave, like any soldier wears the uniform Red and Black. a decorated black jacket with gold inlays, on the sleves there is an insignia if a Dagger virticaly piercing a Heart. he wears a black sleevless top and black loose fitting pants. and black shoes. he wears a pair of shaded glasses to hide his eyes from the world. the eyes of a snake

~The Personal~
Personality Due to her switching personalities, her mood can change very easliy. When she's sweet, she's very sweet, calm, kind natured, and very friendly. On the other hand, her other side is rude, brash, cruel tempered and psychotic, a total mirror opposite. She absolutely loves sweets and cakes in either form and has a ferocious fear of heights. She loves to torment the Caterpillar using her Astral Projection. She is forever followed by 2 servants to protect her in battle. She gets easily bored and is constantly changing the 2.
Short bio...at least 2-3 sentences Born into a prestigious family, the Duchess was the youngest sister, her other being her twin. Cold and moody, she always despised the attention her sister received, and constantly bickered and fought with her. One day, 2 weeks before her 6th birthday, her and her family were ambushed on their way to the castle. Her mother, father and older sister were killed, and the Duchess severely injured. Close to death, she prayed that her sister lived instead of her, and fell into a coma shortly after. She awoke on the day of her birthday, realising that her sister's soul now resided within her, giving her her dual personality. She now lives in the forest, plotting revenge on those who took her family from her.
AppearanceSlightly tall and slender, she is covered in piercings and has two tattoos on her face. She also dresses quite daintily, wearing lace and ruffles. She has green and red dreadlocks in her hair, accompanied by a bonnet. Her original hair colour is a dusty blonde that can be seen on her short fringe. Her eyebrows are drawn on and she wears heavy make-up. She suffers from heterochromia, the left eye green and the right eye brown (her sister had brown eyes). Despite her height, she wears black platform shoes with lace stockings. Her cheeks are constantly red from slapping herself, trying to cease her rude behaviour.

Personality The caterpillar is slow to respond to things, including pain. He has a very mild temper. His favourite thing to do is to bask in the sun and smoke his pipe. He hates being pranked, and especially hates it when it is the Duchess. He speaks in a slow soft voice, and can sometimes slur his words (depending on how much he has just smoked). He also tends to repeat what he says, he has a terrible memory.
Short bio...at least 2-3 sentences The Caterpillar's past remains a mystery, even to himself. He cannot remember much, thanks to his incessant habit. He does not seem to mind though, at least he thinks he doesn't.
Appearance Long and slender, he has a caterpillar tail from the waist down. Above his toned abs are lavish pieces of gold jewellery, complimented by a dark pixie hairstyle. His eyes are always bloodshot, thanks to the smoke

Personality Like the character's famous friend, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare feels compelled to always behave as though it is tea-time because the Hatter supposedly "murdered the time" whilst singing for the Queen of Hearts. She is briefly shown to live in a house where all the furniture and clocks are shown to be shaped like the head of a hare, which leads Alice to believe that she is indeed "raving mad". Is often seen as being deliriously confused.
Short bio...at least 2-3 sentences Typical noble-family upbringing saw the March Hare become an astute and clever young woman. However, as a result of the madness of the Wonderland Wars, she quickly became unhinged. This fragile state of mind is not aided by the frivolities and eccentricities of the Mad-Hatter, her greatest friend.

Personality The Rabbit seems to have the most logic out of all the Wonderland characters. Thus, he is often the straight man for their zany antics. The White Rabbit is nervous and always in a hurry. However, he is confident enough about himself to contradict the King of Hearts. Because Alice follows him, he gets things moving again whenever he appears during the story. In a way, he is some kind of a guide through Wonderland for her, only unintentionally.
Short bio...at least 2-3 sentences Noble blood runs in this intelligent fellow's veins. He is the essence of a true gentleman, loyal to the core. Once friendship is sown, it is rarely left to grow weeds. As a result of money and power, the White Rabbit had the best education and as such is the logical character in the world. The universe seems to shape its way around him, probably as a result of his flawless logic. His ability to stop time for one minute is painful and more costly than imaginable, therefore he only uses his power when absolutely imperative. Forever afraid to insult and offend, his innate fear of being late has led to a perfect record of punctuality. A record he intends to keep...along with his head.
