Ok, so we studied infinity in my proof writing class today. UGH!
I like math. I hate infinity. Just thinking about it makes my brain explode. Plus, the last guy to study infinity in depth (Georg Cantor is his name, I think) went crazy and ended up in a mental institution every time he tried to study infinity. I think it's a sign. Infinity was just not meant to be understood and we should just give up now while we still have our sanity.
*sigh*
So, anyone else feeling all brain-explodey about school?

He ended up in a institution??! That is BEYOND messed up O.O
And yeah, school = brain short melting
So many essays/termpapers/speeches/projects to do and only a few weeks left! gonk
Not to mention I'm doing pretty bad in math right now... and if I don't pass it I'll just cry. It'll be a whole semester of work for nothing if I do =(
We did Exponential and log equations and my mind just short circuted. Thank got we're doing circles and easy s**t now... I have a chance in hell to salvage my grade and pass sweatdrop

I hate school right now. I have all my exams coming up next month and between handing in coursework and catching up with all of the work, I'm trying my best to study inbetween.
It's definitely melting my brain. gonk

I have a chance in hell to salvage my grade and pass sweatdrop Yeah, logarithms actually aren't that complicated if you get a teacher who will explain what they are (which I've never actually had, but I still have hope that they may exist). Otherwise, they're just confusing as hell. I mean, all that a logarithm is is a different way of writing an exponent. Some mathematician with way too much time on his/her hands found an equation for finding unknown exponents. The log function just represents that formula. It's a lot easier when you put it all into perspective of what it is. But it's good that you're working on circles now. Those are always fun. ^.^

Thankfully, I just found out that I only have 2 finals that I actually have to take this semester (For my other classes, 2 finals were optional, which I'm not taking, one was a presentation I've already given, and one was a final term paper, which I finished last week.) Now I just have to study for my calculus test on monday and my linear algebra test on Tuesday. Then I'm done for the semester! Excitement! Oh, and I just got to register for my classes for next semester! I'm taking Higher Geometry, Methods of Teaching Secondary Mathematics, Calc II, History of Native American Peoples, Aerobic Dance, and either Karate or Judo (still trying to decide which one sounds like more fun). And maybe Calculus based Physics if a spot opens up in that class.

I did like 3 billion practice questions lol.
I knew what they were it's just... I forget what to do with them all the time. Like, it took me forever to equate 'ln' with 'e', you know? *iz stupid*
Circles are SO easy. Everyone is my class gets logs and doesn't know what the hell to do with circles and parabola's and hyperbolas and ellipse's and stuff and I'm like 'yay I finally know something!' *happy dance*
lol, my teacher can't figure out why this stuff clicks in my head and the other stuff doesn't. I'm as clueless as her ><

No actually, colege isn't hard, it's just all the prof's got sticks up their a$$es and everything you do, no matter how hard you work on it, is wrong stare

It's so stupid. Most of my classes are really easy, but I was held back TWO YEARS!
Two reasons...
1. I'm like Ash, in that sometimes I'm a genius, and sometimes I'm an idiot.
