Sakura Park is the only official park on campus. It is beautiful in spring, as there are even more cherry blossom trees here than along Sakura Lane. The park is right off of Sakura Lane, but the gate to get onto park grounds aren't hard to miss, so people rarely visit the park. There is a small lake (or it may be better described as a large pond) in the middle of the park. It is a popular spot for fishing, among those students who enjoy doing so. The spot is ideal for a picnic, due to all of the shade, and it is a very romantic spot in springtime.

Mizuku looked around the park, his mouth agape at the imminent beauty flooding his eyes. The pink was bright yet pale at the same time. The light only came through in patches, and Mizuku was perfectly shaded where he stood. The lake in the middle was sparkling with sunlight, creating a scene that looked like it should be in National Geographic.

Once the sweet little petal had drifted from Emiel's sight he realized that he'd strayed from his path. He looked around him swiftly, trying his best not to get carried away by the beauty around him, and saw a boy standing not too far away from him.
"Hey!" Emiel said walking up to the boy.

Hearing a voice to his left, Mizuku whipped himself around to face the sound. It was a boy who looked to be his age. Was he addressing him?
"Oh... hi?" Mizuku said somewhat confusedly, eyeing the boy up and down.

"Hello!" Emiel said with his carefree tone. "Eh...I seem to have gotten myself lost, I believe I need to be going to my dorm room. Could you help me out?" his smile was kind and said he'd be just fine without help, but his eyes looked a bit hopeless.

Mizuku paused. "A-actually, I wandered off here... Are you new, too?" He pulled a sheet of paper from his pocket and scanned it quickly. "I've got dorm number three. What about you?"

Emiel held up both of his index fingers. "Eleven...These cherry blossoms are something else, huh?" his voice slowly trailed off as his eyes were once again caught in the majestic swirls of the wind and cherry blossoms. Realizing he was becoming dazed again, Emiel shook his head furiously and scratched the back of his head with a goofy smile on his face.

"Yeah. I've never seen them this beautiful." Mizuku paused. "Ever." His thoughts were being carried off by the gentle breeze that gently caressed his cheek, and he mentally reached out and grasped those thoughts firmly.
"So, room eleven?" He inquired, pulling a map from his pocket.

"Yeah!" Emiel said with a fist in the air. He was just as full of life as the restless air that recklessly spun the small cherry blossom petals.
"So, what's your name?" Emiel asked as he plopped down on the damp grass underneath his feet, his head looking up at the boy with eyes that were more childish than a five year old.

Mizuku gently sat on the ground next to him, chuckling lightly to himself. How old is this guy, anyway? He looks so young. He adjusted himself so he could sit comfortably on the shady grass without getting grass stains on his jacket.
"I'm Mizuku Chihara. And you?" Mizuku said smoothly. Never once did he forget a name, if he could tie it to a face. And, this definitely looked like a face he could remember.

"Before I tell you that..." Emiel had a mischievious smile on his lips that fit his young face alittle too well. "I always tell everyone new I meet one thing before I can tell them my name!" Emiel ran his hand smoothly through his messy blond hair.

Mizuku hesitated nervously. Was he an alien? Or was he a rapidly aging half-vampire who thirsted for human blood? Hmph, he thought. I've been reading too many strange novels lately... Throwing those thoughts out the back door, Mizuku cleared his throat.
"What is it?"

"Mizuku was it?" Emiel ensnared Mizuku's gaze, a strange sparkle lighting his eyes. "I want to tell you that I am a homosexual!"
Emiel had done this to many strangers and had gotten good at playing up the moment. People often gave him a funny look and then avoided him the rest of his life, or sometimes they might scream and run away. Either way Emiel had learned that he must find out if a person is worth his time right off the bat, and why not have fun while doing it?

"There's no use in playing it up." Mizuku deadpanned. "So what? I liked men and women." After a second, he couldn't help but send a friendly smile at the other boy. "So, do you even have a name?"
And his thoughts screamed, HE'S A VAMPIRE! TAKE OUR YOUR POCKET MIRROR!

Emiel was stunned silent! His eyes were wide as he scrambled to answer the question before him. "Oh, I'm Emiel. Emiel Heart!" he laughed nervously. This had never really happened to him before and was still in a bit of shock.
