umm what are the requirements o.o, math has so many uses though.
You can talk about how math was used in different civilizations, the egyptians might be a good candidate for this, or the Babylonians, or the chinese... etc.
Or if your talking about present day society, just think about what you do every day, there's always math involved. From figuring out when you get up in the morning so that you'll get to school on time, to figuring out which box of cereal costs less at the grocery store, to figuring out what grade you need to get on the final to pass a class... the list goes on =D
