Currently working on the skirt... without a pattern... it's coming along slowly. A few hitches though.

I TEACH YOU! Spend time with me and my mom's sewing machine and I TEACH you. You can also see my costume then!

The skirt is complete! I made it WITHOUT AN ACTUAL PATTERN. I'm very proud of myself... now, onto the shirt and and undershirt... and then Jessica's top...

Also, if worse comes to worse, you can always reuse a costume.

We pretty much have everything except for the headband, which she's gonna buy at the convention. Also, I'm making the top... gonk It won't be all that hard, but it's a Naruto cosplay... gah

I will DEFINITELY let her know next years plans. Azumanga daioh... or I was thinking... School Rumble. Might make your mom happy... I'd be Eri or Tenma (cause I'm random like that).
Must keep her away from Naruto cosplay's from here on out... I really wish I had some more Haruhi Suzumiya characters to cosplay with. Oh well. A little disorganized this year, but next year we're back to the group cosplays (as long as I can go... final work term next summer...)

EDIT: YAY her sleeves are done!

Also, I told Jessica the plans... She's okay with being Kagura-san.

Jessica said she'd wear it like a normal hoodie if it turns out well enough.

Unfortunately, I will not be taking the Yukarimobile.... sad

Maybe you could be Yakumo or Mikoto. JESSICA SHOULD BE HARIMA!

Jessica's hoodie is complete... and it turned out decently enough.

Shoes are semi-complete. Shoes purchased and spray-painted blue, just need the ankle straps now! 3nodding
