When you go to read the bible (as you're meant to every day), how do you decide what passage to read?

Honestly..I dont usually pray about where to start reading. Not that that is a bad thing to do..but I dont believe it is necessary. I generally will either just choose a book that I know covers omething I am interested in reading more about...or I may even just randomly choose a book that I havent spent a lot of study on so far (such as numbers or haggai). Everything in the bible is good (though sometimes books like numbers and deuteronomy can feel tedious) so really I have to steal a line and modify it...There's no wrong way to choose a book of the bible to read.

Sometimes I pray before reading the Bible, but usually it's for discernment and wisdom to understand what I'm reading. There have been times where I prayed before opening it, having asked God to help me find what he wants me to see...that sort of thing. There is no wrong way to read the Bible, except without careful consideration.
