I was wondering if anyone had any experience ordering from bodyline. some of their prices are sooo low but the pics look fine so i'm looking for someone who seen it irl to speak to the quality. thanks!

I have a few pieces from them, and their quality is okay. Some of the older pieces have really godawful lace and very thin, easily wrinkled materials, but most of the newer jumpers, skirts and dresses are great [such as the Fruits Parlor replica, the IW poodle replica, the new bustle back OPs, and some of the floral and apron-style JSKs]. Also, I've bought bloomers from them that are great and I wear them more often than my Angelic Pretty ones. ^^;

i just recently bought from Bodyline, as in i got it today. >w> and i really was impressed by the quality. not to say that it is AMAZING OHMYGOODNESS IT'S LIKE BRAND, but to say is i grew up on Moi-meme-Moitie and i was /really/ impressed. i think the saying of bodyline being awful is from the old days, because it looks wonderful. just be delicate with it, i'd say.
and the petticoats are itchy. :|

i have a couple dresses from them, and a couple pairs of socks and a pair of shoes. they're the only place i can afford anything from ><;;
both dresses are of great quality (i think >_>;; ), but i'm uber thin and uber short so one of them is too long, and the other is too big around the waist =/
just make sure to check the measurements chart that they give you before you buy.

(so i don't have to start a new thread somewhere...) I checked out some of the items on bodyline, but i'm kind of nervous to buy from them. Is it hard to place an order? and what does it mean with all the "customs" and stuff?

It's really simple, you just follow the directions. Add items to the cart, go to the cart to check out, and pay through PayPal or a credit card. Tada.
Customs are hit or miss. In the US, you generally have to buy a lot [as in enough to make them think you're a reseller] to end up having to pay customs. DHL tends to have a higher rate of customs fees than EMS, but it's a cheaper shipping service, so many people consider it worth the risk.

Oh right. Which do you recommend, DHL or EMS?

If you're buying less than 100-150 dollars worth, DHL is fine. If you're ordering a lot, though, EMS is less likely to nail you with customs. They take about the same amount of time to arrive.

Thanks! Oh, and one more question, what's with the tax deal and what do you think of their shoes? (yeah, it's technically two question. xp )
