The first path leading to the school, this is where new students come in from the train station. The walk is beautiful in the springtime, the cherry blossoms on the trees falling slowly to the ground and blowing gently around. The lane is also a common place to find simple wildlife, such as squirrels or rabbits. Some also visit the lane when on a date, as in the springtime, the cherry blossoms make it very romantic. Mizuku Chihara strode gently down the cobblestone path, gazing in fascination at the pink petals on the trees around him. Light was just beginning to pour from the morning sky, and Mizuku took a deep breath of the cool air. What a beautiful scent, he thought with a faint smile. Going to this boarding school wasn't exactly his idea, but his uncle seemed to think so. He'd sent him to Takaba Academy For Boys a couple months after he'd inherited his nephew Mizuku from his brother, who could no longer afford to take care of him. Instead of having to deal with Mizuku himself, his uncle sent him to Takaba Academy to stay and get his education.
So, in a short phrase, Mizuku felt unloved. It wasn't an unfamiliar feeling to him. He'd had phases of his life where he felt as if things would always go wrong; he felt like nobody loved him like they should. In fact, the only person who had ever said they loved him out loud, was his older sister, his best friend. Sure, he'd had friends at his old schools, but when he moved away, he would lose them all. That's why Mizuku was so upset when his sister left for college the previous spring. Shortly after that was when his father lost his job, and this whole "moving in with uncle" business came into play.
Looking at the scenery thoughtfully, Mizuku stopped where he was and took a moment to enjoy the sweet scent of the cherry blossoms. Suddenly, in his distraction, his bag slipped off his shoulder and landed on the cool, hard cobblestone. He crouched down to pick up the bag, grabbing it with his long, slender fingers, and bringing it back to his shoulder where it belonged.

Daisuke Yagami was strolling through the cobblestone path, taking in the scenery. As he passed by, he noticed a boy with green hair and glasses bent over, picking something up. Daisuke bent down to help him pick his stuff up.
"Are you okay?" Daisuke asked, handing him a book that fell out of his bag.

Mizuku smiled with gratitude and took the book, stuffing it in his bag messily.
"Thanks." He said in a light voice. "I'm Mizuku Chihara." He stood up straight and held out his hand.

Daisuke stuck his hand out to shake his hand.
"I'm Daisuke Yagami." He said, smiling somewhat creepily.

Mizuku stared inconspicuously at the other boy, sneaking glances at his face to appraise his somewhat abnormal smile. Something about it sent chills down Mizuku's slim back.
"Nice to meet you." He said politely, shaking the boys hand briefly and letting go quickly. "I'm new here. Do you... know your way around?"

Daisuke shrugged his shoulders. "Kinda. I knew my surroundings better back at home." Daisuke said. "Where are you from?"

"Okinawa." Mizuku replied. "But I moved a little more east a couple months ago, then was sent here." He put a subtle emphasis on the word "sent".

Hoshiyuki turned up the volume on his iPod as he walked along the path, looking up at the trees around him. He held up his hand and a single pink petal fell into his open palm. He dropped the petal, watching it fall to the ground. He kept walking, music blaring into his brain. He then spotted two other young men on the path, and froze, his mind trying to figure out a way to avoid them, but he then realized that they were students just like himself and sighed, knowing that he would have to speak to them. He just walked past them, not bothering to speak. They would have to talk to him first.

When the conversation with Yagami-san was coming to an end, Mizuku spotted another boy on the path. He'd just passed by, and through the warm, sweet breeze of an early spring day, Mizuku spotted a mole on the back of the boy's neck.
Is it... star shaped? Mizuku thought, thinking for a moment that maybe he should go say hello. But, he eventually decided against, and followed in the direction of the black-haired boy in front of him, but slower, and falling further behind ever quicker with each passing moment.

Takeru walked casually along the path that stood beside the large tower like building, while staring up through the branches of the Cherry Blossom trees. Beams from the sunlight shot through them like spotlights as he passed through each one. "Seems like a nice day", he said to himself in a joyful tone as he smiled as he lifted his arms up and cupped his hand to catch the petals that drifted down. Takeru caught three and brought it up to his face as he stared at them observantly.I've never seen them this pink before, he thought as he let them go to fall onto the pebbled path.

Ahhh.. What a wonderful day! Koji thought to himself.
He continued walking down the path amongst the cherry blossom trees that swayed rythmically with the wind, and everytime the wind blew through one of the trees more petals fall on the ground, mimicking a snowy scenery. The scent in the air was fresh and aromatic.
Koji breathed in the fresh air and breathed out with a sigh.
"I wonder what this school year is going to be like.. I hope I get to make good friends!" Koji was ecstatic.
He saw a couple of boys along the path and decided to NOT greet them.

(You totally killed this post, Joko... Plus, if you notice, I had stopped talking to... *checks Jesse's character's name* Yagami-san.)
Mizuku continued his leisurely stroll down the lane, taking slight notice of the few other boys around him.
Rrrring! Rrrring!
The sound of his own cell phone startled him a bit, and chuckling at himself, he pulled the phone from his pocket and flipped it open, looking at the screen on the small device. He smiled at once and pressed the "Talk" button.
"Hey, Nee-chan!" Mizuku greeted happily. "I'm doing okay, how are you? How's college?" A pause. "That's great! What's he like?" Mizuku giggled a little. "Suuure, Nee-chan. He's probably pounding you into the bed at night." He paused, and uttered a rather loud nervous laugh, and when there was a click on the other end of the phone, he sighed. Great. Now she's mad. He thought.
He tried calling the person (who happened to be his big sister, Sakiko), but there was no answer. "Damn!" He cursed with a halfhearted chuckle and a heart-stopping smile.
