Once you own either an Ilium or a Trillia, you can post your profile here. Characters generally bond at a young age, but the cert needn't reflect the age of the Ilium or Trillia you are playing. So your certed Ilium can be a hatchling, but your characters can be older. Once note though, you can only chose to be a candidate rank for any class you choose, as you have to train to earn the ranks. Any questions, please post them in the Q&A thread. ^^ **Please note: -The profile(s) for your official character (the character where your actions count towards things) goes here. -The profile(s) for the unofficial RPs go in the respective RPs in the Unofficial RP ForumPlease fill out this form before posting (and make sure to get rid of the descrptions in the brackets): Profile Form Username: (your Gaian name) Human Character Name: (self explanatory) Illium/Trillium Name: (self explanatory) Species: (Specify if your dragon is Ilium or Trillia) Human description: (Describe your human charcter's appearance and personality - any colour of hair/eyes are welcome but please try to keep to a regular human appearance) Dragon description: (Describe your dragon's physical appearance and personality - be descriptive!) Class: (which class you've chosen when your dragon reached the Juvenile Stage) Profession:(What rank are you? What do you do? ie. A student, blacksmith, warrior, scout, farrier, baker etc.) Weapons: (maximum 2 // 3 if you're a Wind-walker or Guardian) Magic: (the element you were assigned when your dragon came of age & are a Mage) Bio: (Give some background on your character. Please remember that - in part - a person's history determines who they are currently, so please match this with your character's personalities)

Username: SkieBorne Human Character Name: Inasfreya Raniero (Een-a**-fray-yah Ran-ear-oh) Illium/Trillium Name: Midnight Species: Ilium
Human description: Inasfreya hates her name, and if she can avoid it, she tells no one her real name; as far as she's concerned, Ero is her given name. Ero is short and spunky with shoulder-length blonde hair and electric blue eyes. Standing only about 5'4" tall and about 28 years old, her personality more then makes up for her "height impairment". She'll wear clothing that matches whatever mood she happens to be in, creating the need for a large wardrobe. While eccentric at times, Ero is serious and down to earth when she's teaching the new recruits. Her trademarks are the electric blue tips to her hair that developed once she and Midnight became Storm-riders and the piercing through her brow set with a hawk's eye gem. She also always wears white gloves to cover the horrible burns she received while in her training days. Ero's greatest love is flying with Midnight amidst the awesome beauty and power of a thunderstorm. As is turns out, Midnight's and Ero's weather affinity is that of the thunderstorm, powerful, unpredictable, and respected. Dragon description: Midnight's name comes from the blue-black colour of his scales. Standing about 6'5" tall at the shoulder with a wingspan of approximately 40ft, Midnight is lean and lithe. Their original calling was that of Wind-walker, a profession requiring extreme grace, manoeuvrability, and co-ordination. Where Ero is reckless, Midnight is cautious. He recognizes the value of planning and forethought but can cast all sense aside to enjoy the sensation of lighting rippling across his body in the midst of a storm. He has a sweet-tooth like no other and a grand sense of humour. It takes a lot to anger Midnight while Ero can have a short fuse. Nonetheless, the two make an enviable team.
Class: Wind-walker // Storm-rider // Soul-weaver Profession: Storm-rider and Wind-walker professor Weapons: A whip-sword inscribed with runes that absorb the energy of any storm, store it, and release that energy as lightning bolts on command. The whip-sword is a weapon that, when locked, is a normal sword (in this case, a scimitar) and when unlocked, is a long, bladed whip about 2.5 times the sword's length. Magic: None
Bio: ------As children, Ero and Midnight were rambunctious and always getting in trouble. Despite their annoying antics though, they excelled at their chosen profession, that of wind-walker. Their prowess inflated their egos and when tempers flared, they didn't hesitate to utilize their abilities. In one of their many fights, the two got in over their heads and were beaten up in a fight. However, they didn't take kindly to this and hunted the person down, intent on returning the favour. They succeeded but things went to far, several people got seriously hurt and Midnight and Ero were kicked out of the wind-walkers. ------They were brought before the Court of Fariweather and sentenced. Their skills were valued but their attitude was not. For Midnight, the experience had been eye-opening. He had nearly killed a human and had severely injured a fellow Ilium. It ate at his conscious and made him a docile dragon. Ero changed too. For her, being kicked out and treated as a criminal - which she refused to admit she was - settled heavily on her. Together, they slogged through their two year sentence and when it was finished, the promise of the Storm-riders awaited. ------The Court had decided to initiate Midnight and Ero into the Storm-riders to control their wild side. The two held much potential but their attitudes prevented them from truly growing. Their two years had forced Midnight and Ero to think and the Storm-riders allowed them a chance to funnel their energies into a constructive outlet. The Storm-riders proved far more difficult then the two had expected but a love of storms was awakened in them. After a few years of struggling with the classes, Midnight and Ero finally began to gain momentum and mastered the class as one of the top students. Ero and Midnight had been tamed, but not completely. Anytime a thunderstorm boomed overhead, they could be seen riding the ferocious currents and never declined a challenge for storm-riding. ------At the graduating ceremony, Ero and Midnight were awarded with a whip-sword, a specially crafted weapon that could store storm energy and release it as lightning bolts. Only the top students of the graduating class received such gifts. Their storm-rider vows were renewed and then the two were finished with school at the age of 23 (about average for Storm-riders). ------Two years later, Ero and Midnight discovered the ability to Soul-weave quite accidentally. They had been sparring but their movements played off each others' so perfectly so that neither could make an attack connect. Like a dance, they weaved around the courtyard of their home. Suddenly, they found themselves connected, one body, two souls. As it does for many, it frightened them severely. They didn't spar for a week and tried to understand what had happened. The Court caught wind of the event and groaned. Soul-weavers were dangerous and difficult to train, if Ero and Midnight had that ability, the Court was afraid of what would happen. ------Nonetheless, the ruling body of Fairweather was obligated to teach the two to control this new ability. Slowly at first, Ero and Midnight learned to control soul-weaving, then once they became familiar with it, they practiced often. After years of practice, Ero and Midnight were formally initiated into the Soul-weavers though they had not fully mastered the technique. They rarely used it from that point on, though they would practice when their schedule allowed once they became instructors for the Wind-walker apprentices and Storm-riders.

Username: Waiver Human name: Centurion Vincent Romius (aka Rion ) Dragon name: Altaica (Al-ty-ka)
Human Description: Centurion wishes only to be able to be himself. He doesn't particularly enjoy Guardianship but his sense of duty and his stubbornness push him to succeed. He greatly enjoys a challenge and the silence of the forest in which he can puzzle out those challenges. He feels most at home amongst the branches of the Jade Forest, where his clumsiness can be hidden in the mist. His skills are best with the sword and dragonlance, though he fancies himself able to handle a good pair of daggers as well. Easily embarrassed, he despises his awkwardness. At times, he can be the most co-ordinated young man in the city and others - especially during training it seems - he can't take a step forward without tripping over his own feet. As a result, he's a quiet and studious person but if someone can coax his fun-loving side to the surface, he's an excellent companion. He's taller then average, at about 6'4" with long, blue-black hair and hazel eyes. He has a somewhat casual demeanour but prides himself on knowing when to be serious. He wears loose fitting garb and most know him from a distance because Centurion always wears a distinct set of armour. Picture(Same except for the blue, it should be jungle green and no large cross necklace.) Dragon Description: Altaica has two thumbspikes on his wings and two sets of spikes on his tail where most other Ilium have frills. He sports a light green face mask and stripes down the length of his 31ft brown body. His wings are many shades of green and brighten to a light green on the edges. He stands 6ft tall and has a wingspan of 42ft. Altaica enjoys fighting more then Centurion does, lending support whenever it's needed. In the air, he is graceful and well balanced despite his size. Many say he should have been a wind-walker. Altaica also enjoys exploring the ancient forest, making games by blending in perfectly and stalking others until they notice, sometimes only because Altaica deliberately left a clue. Altaica and Centurion have a close bond and prefer each other's company to anyone else's - they feel it helps cut down on embarrassing moments. They are always getting into mischief together or training or soaring on the winds over the Whistler.
Species: Ilium Class: Guardian Profession: Journeyman Guardian Weapons: Sword, Dragonlance Magic: Only a slight affiliation with plants
Bio: Centurion's mother died in childbirth of complications. Even the best healers were unable to staunch the bleeding. As she lay dying, his mother Ricca announced his name. Centurion's name was to be his guide in life, a goal for him to strive towards. Having lost her Bonded, Ricca's Ilium fled, leaving her mate as well. Centurion's father was wracked with grief and along with his Ilium, joined the Guardians only to be killed in a raid by rogues. Orphaned by the time he was two, Centurion's future was uncertain.
When time came for him to Bond, Centurion didn't find a Bonded at first. A curious occurrence, the Minders watched him and repeatedly introduced him into new groups of dragons. An Unbonded child often fell ill and died within their fifth year. After several unsuccessful attempts, the child approached a dull brown Ilium by the name of Altaica. It soon became apparent that they had Bonded - much to the relief of the Minders.
The Minders had looked after Centurion after he had been orphaned but his care now transferred to the family of Altaica. The two were raised as brothers and the sense of duty family instilled into their eager minds. Guardianship had long been the family tradition, and when the two came of age to chose their class, the Guardians were the natural choice. As youths, they were awkward and clumsy, soon drawing the ire of older family members. Failure was not an option. Shamed, Altaica and Centurion would retreat into the serenity of the Jade Forest to hone their meagre skills. The two were eventually able to earn the Journeyman rank but their co-ordination remains their greatest challenge.

Username: Draconis)Wyrm Human Character Name: Buri (Deceased) Illium/Trillium Name: Mewr Species: Trillium Human description: Buri used to be a bright, red-haired girl. She had the blue eyes of an angel, or so people who remember her say. Her hair was waist-length and she was covered in freckles. Buri had an angelic voice, and she loved to sing in harmony with Mewr at festivals and other times when the two put on shows. Dragon description: Mewr used to be a brighter colour, but since Buri's death her scaly hide darkened to a deeper violet. Her wings are a cyan-cobalt blue, and her belly some kind of dull periwinkle. This Trillia's claws are darkened at the ends, from scratching on the rock of her cave all the time; now they are quite hard from the stress, and only adds to her dangerous aura. Though she lives in a cave, she loves to fly. Mewr tends only to fly at night, however, when nobody can see her. She doesn't sing as much as she used to, but she does teach young Warblers how to fine-tune their trade. She is quiet and withdrawn, a recluse, quite the opposite to what she once was; older wyrms can remember the jubilant youth, and the disaster that changed her life. Class: Warbler Profession: Tutor Weapons: None on hand Bio: Mewr's parents, Jalyf and Gunther, were proud to have such a gifted daughter in Aurum. At first they were worried, for she never said a word, but their anxieties were blown away the first time she warbled her emotions. Buri, a talented young girl with much potential for singing, quickly became friends with the purple Warbler and were soon inseparable. Though bonds like this are common with Ilium and humans, it's much rarer for Trillium as they do not bond the same way. The two did everything together in the Trillium community, and Buri would often translate for Mewr. The Trillia was only a juvenile when the unthinkable happened. Mewr, wanting to do something nice for her best friend, took her to a clearing at night when the sky was devoid of clouds or other obscuring features. They waited there for a while, until a streak of light lit up the sky. It was soon followed by many other such lights, and the meteor shower was quickly over. The Trillia felt odd. She didn't know what was wrong, and she looked at Buri, the human who was the closest to being Bonded without. Buri, however, was not merely perturbed; she looked very ill. The two locked gazes, and Mewr screamed. Buri fell to the ground, lifeless. The Trillia kept screaming, and writhed serpent-like on her back, wings flapping futilely. A Devourer, who had been watching the two since they met, rushed from the trees and tried to stop Mewr from hurting herself while also trying to mend her soul. There was no way to reverse the absorbtion of one's soul; all that could be done was to complete the process, and hope that Mewr would suffer no permanent damage to her body or everlasting spirit. A funeral was held for Buri, and Mewr was taught at Myst how to use her gift. She saw it as a curse. Now, it was known that Mewr was a Devourer, a Trillia that can take the soul from someone against their will and merge it with their own. Within the month Mewr had moved into a cave not too far from Myst, where she could feel somewhat safe. She hated the looks people gave her, though she came back to the city every so often to tutor a new Warbler or perform at festivals.

Username: Mystica Hashi Human Character Name: Ryuka Draxion Illium/Trillium Name: Pheona Species: Ilium
Human description: Appearance: Ryuka has silver hair going all the way down to her behind. She is about 5' 2" and weighs around 120. Her skin is slightly pale and her eyes are unhuman silver. She wears a tight black tanktop with a black, slightly frayed, leather overcoat that goes down to her ankles. Her pants go down to her feet; they are also frayed at the edges. She wears black, finger-cut off gloves that are leather and stop a little after her wrist. Her shoes as boots that have been worn from walking so much. The leather is frayed and it sometimes smells like blood like her gloves. Personality: Ryuka is a slighty cold person. She can be kind and thoughtful when she wants to. Even though she is anit-social, she can be a good friend and very loyal. Ryuka would rather do things alone, but if needs be, she can work in groups pretty well. She's a fierce fighter and would never back down from any challenge. She's tough on the outside, but is constantly hurting on the inside. She keeps it away, though, thinking its a weakness and would not want to exploit it to her enemies. Dragon description: Appearance: Pheona has black as night scales. A young little thing, she only stands about 1 foot tall to Ryuka on her hinds legs and. Her wings are still undeveloped, but the the coloring is pinkish orange witht he pink being ontop, and the orange on the botoom of the wing membrane. Her claws are also not yet developed but she is able to climb short trees and hook to things rather well (like Ryuka's leg when she's scared). Personality: She is quite dependent upon Ryuka and would like for her bond to be a bit more social. She is very friendly toward any creature and can easily be made friends with. Like Ryuka, she is loyal and very comforting. She has a knack for making people feel better and can be quite a clown and enterianing. Her unusual flexibility makes her slightly unusual among the dragon kinds.
Class: Not sure yet Profession: Warrior Weapons: A medium sized sword made of an unusual metal. The hilt is wrapped in leather. An onyx jewel with pink and orange hues lay up were the handle connects with the blade. Its about the size of a hatchling Ilium's eye. A hidden dagger in her right boot. It's small, but it is coated with a poison tip. She keeps it sheathed at all times unless in dire needs. Magic: None I suppose
Bio: Ryuka's parents were killed in an accident unexpectedly when she was only 4. None of her relatives wanted her. Feeling the need to, her Aunt reluctantly took her into her home in wishes that the child would not be uncivilized. Angered by the truth, Ryuka ran away at age 8 and lived as an orphan on the streets for a while. A small family found her and decided to adopt her. For a while she was happy, but she wanted a better life than the adopted daughter of a baker. Thanking her foster family, she dissapeared one night and has been on her own never since. Ryuka trained herself in the arts of fighting for defense. Because of this, she distances herself from other people afraid of what she might do to them if angered.
Ryuka found Pheona as a baby near her mountain home when she was 14. Afraid of the creature's well-fare, she took the young dragon and nursed it. The hatchling grew quickly and is referring to Ryuka as "Mother". The girl hopes this stage will pass so she can be called by her name and not "Mommy". Soon afterword, when Ryuka was seen with the dragon, the girl was caught into a world of unusual customs. The society told her that Pheona was her "bonded" and that she would be able to accomplish great things with the Ilium. At first, she was denying the rights, but when she saw the small creature's eyes and heard its pleas in her mind, Ryuka could only comply.
Now Ryuka is stuck in the ways of this unusual society. She is told that when Pheona becomes of juvenile, she would need to pick a class to affiliate her powers with. It's a tough choice for this human, but destiny gave her something to do whether she liked it or not.

Username: Mystica Hashi Human Character Name: Kiana Hellcrest Illium/Trillium Name: Rikka Species: Ilium Human description: Apperance: Kiana is about 5 foot even and weighs only 120 pounds. For a 15-year-old, thats not so bad for weight! She has short, cropped brown hair, not reaching her shoulders, and dark brown eyes. A tribal tattoo is upon her left eye, a sign of maturity in her village of the Northern Clans. She wears a tight, black, long sleeve, turtle neck-like cotton shirt with a brown, button vest over it. Another tribal marking is on the vest over her heart representing the clan. Her pants are a matching black, tight and loose around her body. Kiana's white and gray boots are made of the metal from the mountains of her home. Strong and sturdy, they can withstand most of the things the girl does. Black armor bracelets that go about halfway up her arm, and down to her knuckles, prove for protection when she fights. The material is also made from the mountains of her home, but built to withstand much more pressure. Personality: This teen is your average run of the mill kid: Her father is cheiftan of the Northern Clans where she lives. Quick-witted, Kiana loves a good fight, though her anger can sometimes blind her in the heat of battle. Other then that, she's actually quite a sweetheart and slightly weak when it comes to attractive boys. She is a good friend, and will always be there. Overall, she's pretty happy-go-lucky with a hot streak and a love for fighting. Dragon description: Appearance: Rikka is unusually muscular for a juvenile Ilium. What he lacks in speed, he makes up for strength and smarts. He is the average height and length of his kind, but weighs slightly more than he should; Rikka blames the muscle for this increase. His color is of the snow drift, so hiding is slightly hard for him on the ground. Personality: He was brought up along side of Kiana, so their personalities match slightly. He loves to just lay about on hot days, and romp on the cool days. The only difference is that he can't get enough of training to better his strengths and tries to make as many of his weaknesses dissapear. Rikka is very caring and wants to protect the weaker creatures and everything he loves. He only gets angry when his world is threatened. He won't back down from a challenge and will never give up, even if it means his life. Class: Guardian Profession: Warrior Weapons: Bow with obsidian tipped arrows and a obsidian-tipped spear Magic: None Bio: Kiana's mother died giving birth to her and has left the girl scarred slightly. Her father, Chieftan Arvan, tells her not to blame herself. That the gods took her mother because she was needed back in the Great Heavens. Kiana wasn't very spiritual from the start, and was considered a disgrace to her people. She would not tolerate weakness and only cared for herself. Her people considered her ruthless cold and nothing like the Cheiftan. Only when she found Rikka, did her world and opinions change... Rikka's parents left him near the waterfall of Kiana's clan after a brutal attack. Kiana found him on an outing for game. Feeling sorry for the creature, she led Rikka back to the village. After a while, Kiana began to see herself in a different light as she cared for the hatchling slowly bonding with him. She picked out the name 'Rikka' which ment 'Snow' in the ancient language. It was a fitting name since his scales resembled the ice that fell upon the ground in different patterns. When Kiana reached the age of a teenager, there was word of a place for south were people bonded with Trillum, what Rikka's species was. They were taught how to use their born-given gifts, and utilize them. It was far away from home, but the two bonded wanted to know more about their unique abilities. Arvan would greatly miss his daughter, as would the people, but they let her go. By that time, Rikka knew how to fly, and was quite skilled at it. He was in his juvenile stage and felt his powers growing by the day. Now all was left was to go to the strange place downward of the contient and find out about themselves.

Human Character Name: Kyle
Illium Name: Hallie
Human description: Age: 8 Hair/Eyes: Blonde/Blue Height: 4'3'' Build: Small General Mood: Curious, Optimistic Class: Thief Family: All Known Deceased History: Born the only child into a well off family, his parents died in a terrible fire that burned their house and all of their property. Whispers said it was intentionally done. A fire in Fairweather was incredibly unlikely with all the storms, but the whispers refused to name the culprit. Kyle was 6 when this happened, and does not remember it at all. He doesn't even conciously remember he had parents, and he's been living on his own ever since. Now you'd think, a six year old on his own?! Ridiculous. Well, he was never really on his own. A section of the large town where friends of his parents lived, adopted him and he would share beds and food from dozens of families ho were concerned enough to help but could not afford to take him in. He became somewhat of a thief, although being so young he never really got away with any of the stolen goods--the men and women he took from let him take from them out of pity for the boy. Not the best way to be raised, but deep down the boy had a great heart even if he wasn't the most honest.
Dragon description: Age: Hatchling Scales/Eyes/Wings: Dark Blue/Aqua/Aqua Height: 1'5'' General Mood: Curious, Optimistic Class: None Profession: None Weapons: None Magic: None Bio: Hallie was bonded to Kyle immediately upon hatching. During the ceremony, she just felt attached to the boy. The Minders were a little worried that she bonded so quickly and to someone so young. Could this boy take care of a hatchling, or would the Ilium end up taking care of him?

His name was Bane, and he had been undergoing water-walker training. Although, that first time, he went back underwater, Flari came back to the rock the next day, and he came again. This time, they talked, and became friends. The kids at Flari's school noticed that she began to smile more. Soon it became apparent that she had bonded with the trillia, or the equivalent of such. They were such good friends. Flari continued to come to her rock by the ocean to visit Bane as he trained to be a Water-walker. And then, when she was nine, her parents, who were both fishing, died in a freak storm. Now an orphan, Flari would sit on that rock every day, not even bothering to go to school. Bane didn't come for the first few days, as he had been busy, but when he came and found his friend crying on the rock, he decided that he would take her home with him. Bane was always grouchy. no-one was safe from his snappish remarks; Until he met Flari. He was nice to her and, when he saw her crying on the rock, wanted to protect her.
