Name: Garnet Age: 18 Sex: Female Height: 5' 5" Weight: 122 lbs
Occupation: Summoner Date of Birth: October 12 Place of Birth: Luca - she adores Blitzball! Not that she has time for it. She can't play it at all, anyway, so no loss there.
Weapon: Garnet has never been a fan of the staff. Large and sometimes heavy, she finds them cumbersome to carry around. So, instead she carries a stuffed black rabbit, the poor thing having gone through some wear and tear by now. It looks a bit dangerous, but it's a good rabbit nonetheless, having remained intact for a few years of bumbling magic spells. She's very excited to be able to bring him on her journey, because she didn't want to have to break in another rabbit.
Appearance: Short and curvy, Garnet is anything but imposing in appearance; not quite skinny enough to be considered a waif, but not curvy enough to be "sexy," the girl has inwardly battled with the stereotypical image of "woman" her entire life. She hates her short legs and almost stout figure.
Dark, sleek, straight hair curls slightly to the left at her lower back, thick and difficult to tame at best. She manages to keep it in a glossy style by working at it for a couple hours every morning, and is noted as saying it is very much worth it. Her bangs, not being very long, are most often tied back at the top with a hair clip or whatever she manages to find. She loves to accessorize.
Her eyes are wide and brown, often gazing distantly at something or narrowed in thought. They are generally accentuated with some form of makeup, which she enjoys mixing and matching, but never to an extremity. Her makeup tends to lend a startling contrast to her pale skin, nonetheless.
Her attire consists of trendy robes and accessories. Although she is very devoted to her cause, she still believes she and her guardians should be able to look good while they do what they do, and try to at least have a little bit of fun along the way. For that reason, she puts away funds here and there for when they reach a bustling town.
Likes: Animals, her friends and family, swimming, being able to wash her hair, dressing up Dislikes: War, poverty, when things go poorly, people being hurt, fighting
Secret Desire: To live as a normal girl would.
Aeon Allies: Brahma; Shiva. Grimhildr; Bahamut.
Guardians: Family:
Brief Personality: Garnet tries to be optimistic about life, but sometimes she can be overcome with depression. Always looking on the bright side, or willing to give people the benefit of a doubt, she's not so much naive as she is hopeful to see the better in people. She doesn't see the point in being overly pessimistic about a situation, as that doesn't change anything, and hopes she'll someday inspire her guardians to feel the same about their shenanigans.
There are times when life gets very overwhelming, and when that happens, she falls into a slump. The depression isn't very hard-hitting, and goes away easily with talking or time to herself, but she nonetheless hates herself for her weakness and tries her best to avoid feeling that way. Thankfully, this only happens rarely, when the weight of being a summoner and a leader finally catches up to her every now and then.
Although she is devoted to seeing the better side in people, she's not one to instantly trust a person. It's her belief that she can't very well see the best side of a person until she knows them a bit, and so treats every newcomer the same until given reason otherwise.
Her awkward nature can be a pain to her guardians; she's a bit slow sometimes, and will often be the last one to realize something. However, she's hard-working and pretty honest, so that's got to make up for something, right?
