I had the best time of my life! I went with a freshman, and he asked me out, and it was so cute tooo =D xp

I went with my boyfriend, he was so cute in his uniform!!! We are both in JROTC and the funny part is that we both had to go to the Grog Bowl. I actually went twice because my sister decided she wanted to get me back for all the times I messed with her. It was fun, though. I absolutely hated wearing a dress though, I actually was trying to convince my Mas. Sgt. to let me go in Class A's!!!!LOL

The last, and final, JROTC Mil Ball I went to, was...simply put, all right.
Not amazing, but hey whatever
I went with my friend because he used to be in and he got out his last year to catch up on credits.
Some hated him, some loved him.
The theme was "A Night To Remember"
which was stupid because that was my prom theme
but they never really cared about me because I went to a different school from where my jrotc is located.
I personally wanted an Oriental theme, but it lost by 1 vote. some stupid LET 1 showed up late to the meeting and voted for the other.
At the beginning we had a few screw ups because first the guy who was supposed to sing the National Anthem, hadn't showed up yet. So because I was right next to the podium and had sung it last year, I had to rush up and do it real quick. Some of the croud noted that the cadet seemed to have gone from Bass to Soprano XD
Then at the lighting of the candle for the Fallen Comrade
BC didn't know what he was supposed to do, and then when he figured it out there wasn't a lighter and The Mom (because she does everything for us) from the parent group got one out of her purse and handed it to him.
We had the Armed and Unarmed Drill Team do an Exhibition.
The Rifle Team showed a video of them shooting out flames on candles, then they decided to play with fire in the rifle range
rofl
and luckily for us our old AI showed up to give out the senior awards
if our new one had I would've not even gone.
That man had pissed me off so much this year that my final year in jrotc was tainted by his presence
Just wish I could go back and have our AI not go to teh other school

mines coming up. i went freshmen year couldn't go last year and this year I'm on staff and where hosting it so i have to go. but I'm taking my bf (whose thankfully not in the program) it will be fun this year at least

Last year, I couldn't properly enjoy mine because I was organizing the whole thing. (There were other people there to help, but they mostly used the time as an excuse to get out of class.)
Hopefully this year, since I'm not on the committee, I will be able to enjoy it without the hassle of worrying about the hotel staff,

i went to my first 1 fresh man year i was the prince my girlfriend wanted to be princes but some one else got more votes o i had to dance with some one else she cried but i made it up to her.

I'm in my freshman year. Our military ball was awesome; best ten bucks I ever spent. I didn't have a date (and I didn't dance) because I'm not self-confident and have very low self-esteem... or at least that's one way to put it; let's face it, I a wuss and a nerd (I'm especially a nerd in JROTC). Our SAI, who is a LTC, gave me a fake rose thing and pushed me out onto the dance floor and told me to ask someone to dance. (lol) After she did that some of my friend pulled her out onto the dance floor into the middle of the crowd; they tried to do the same with our 1SGT. It was all funny as hell.
Another good thing about the evening was that the COL chose me to recite the Creed. I was nervous of course, but it wasn't as bad as my body's reaction let on. After the Creed I had a headache from hell (before the music started). It was so bad it felt as though I had a fever, even to my hand.

We had some really good catering from (if your ever in Columbus County, NC; Tabor City more specifically) the Todd House.
