And once again, the loss of a favorite character has happened.

Ichigo didn't kill Ulquiorra, Ulquiorra used up all of his power and turned to dust.

At least there was some UlquiHime at the end. Ulquiorra asks Orihime one last time, "Am I frightening, woman?" and he stretches out his hand. Orihime replies, "No," and reaches her hand out as well. Ulquiorra responds, "Is that so?" She grasps his hand but it crumbles away and Ulquiorra begins to turn to ash and is blown away by the breeze.

At least... UlquiHime is cannon now. And DEAD! TT_______________TT

omg I KNOW! I was seriously bawling for about the whole day!! It's NOT fair! I'm so mad at Kubo for this, he made Ulquihime Canon and then KILLED half the pairing off. XDD!

I concur. Although I did cry a li'l crying sweatdrop
I'm a little confused though. For Ulquiorra being such a huge character, we know so little about him and I don't think he got enough credit as a character.
And, I'm going to join the stubborn-fanclub when I say, "I -still- don't think he's dead."
I mean all the other Espada that got defeated simply dropped dead... Ulquiorra faded to ash!!! Is it because Espada ranked 4 n' up fade to ash when they die? Is it because he used up all his power that he faded to ash? Or maybe he ash-teleported... Yeah, right.

But what a beautiful way to die. Hopefully in the anime, they'll add some more scenes/explanation.
And Kubo owes us his background. I will march all the way over to Japan and knock on his door if I have to to get some answers >:U
And it better be the next chapter too.
None of this, paning over to fake Karakura town for the next kah-jillion chapters THEN finally showing us Ulquiorras past.
If I had my way, I would've atleast shown Ulquiorras past before he died... it only makes sense... but Kubo is weird that way...

We'll see...

Atleast we now have solid proof that UlquixHime is major canon.

He was one of the coolest characters!
But yeah, least there was that part just before he died.

Some people say that just means the feud between them, but I think it has a higher meaning smile

Maybe it means he can reform again yet will take a long time. Makes you wonder if going all out like that does that to his body. Maybe next time he will save them then fight against Ichigo again etc etc. Also.. wow.. been a while since I was in this guild. XD

iConcur! And I think we are going to get an Ulquiorra flashback... but right now it's "Bizarre-twist Yammy" with his rank 'Zero'
