My husband has yet again been injured in Iraq.
And yet again, it was his own damn fault.
End of February he got his hand caught between the .50 cal on the truck and the actual truck. He broke a knuckle.
A few days ago, he skewered his thumb with his Gerber screwdriver while trying to fix the .240 machine gun. On the plus side, he did fix it, he was very proud of that.
Then I had to tell him to go back to the Medic cause he couldn't remember the last time he got his tetanus shot.
So tell you SO's to be wary of guns, they are dangerous things.

I already know he isn't good with guns. -.-; He told me how many shots he made in basic out of 50 and it wasn't a very high number. I'm so glad he is doing stuff with computers. >.<;;; The thought of it scares me just a bit.

Tony is actually really good with guns, don't get me wrong. He was the master gunner for his last battalion.
It's more of a joke about his bad luck/clumsiness.
With the .50 cal it was because he was working with someone else and his hand got caught in between the gun and the truck.
The thumb thing was just him being stupid.
