A few nights ago, everything changed for a group of friends. Carlie was on the phone with Jasper, and she like him a lot, though she was unsure on how he felt towards her. They usually talked on the phone later in the day, cause their day schedule was so crazy, they never got a chance to see each other, let alone talk. So, as usual, they talked about their day, what was going on lately, and anything new with them. Jasper's door suddenly flew open, and four mysterious people glided in gracefully. "Hold on Carlie.." Jasper said, standing up and looking directly at the intruders, "Get out of my house! Who are you? What do you want?" Carlie became worried, "Whats going on?" She wondered, as her voice was heard by everyone on the other side. Glances towards the phone from the strangers, but they returned it quickly towards Jasper. One of the males, Andrew, slid forward. "Your coming with us." His velvet voice commanded with authority. "Get the hell away from me, and out of my house!" Jasper had no intention of going with them. Carlie over heard everything, after Jasper's statement, she heard scuffling, fighting, then nothing at all.
"Hello... Hello? Jasper!" She started to panic, Carlie hung up the phone and started to get her keys, license and cell phone, just in case Jasper was alright, and just couldn't talk, she stopped her thoughts there. Carlie got into the car, and tried to hurry towards his house, without getting hurt herself. She pulled into his driveway, and got of the car, running towards the front door. She knocked, and yelled for a few moments, "Jasper?" Her unsteady hand reached for the doorknob, and turned it slightly, noticing it was unlocked. She pushed it slightly, and the front door swung open slowly in front of her. Her eyes beheld his house, which was clean, usually, even for a guy, and not it was destroyed. She figured he put up a real good fight, "Jasper?" Carlie continued to call, walking around and searching his house. She was in there calling his name, and looking for a big clue or something that could help her, but she found nothing. Tears started to form, because she thought they were going to kill him, and she lost a friend along with someone she cared deeply for. She needed to get away from his house,on the way out she found a bloodied necklace, Carlie bent down and picket it up. Tilting it in her hand, she knew it was incredibly old, but wondered why it was at his house. Carlie took it with her, as soon as she was out and in her car, she called and notified the police. Once home, she hurried towards the computer to see how old it is. But found nothing, this confused her.
A loud sudden knock on the door made Carlie jump in her seat. She composed herself as she walked over to open the door. A strange looking man, dressed very odd was standing, more like towering, before her. She had never seen him before in her life, but didn't want to be rude, after an awkward short silence, she spoke. "Can I help you?" His eyes looked over her head, at everything in her apartment, eventually seeing her newest project. He stared at the necklace, then back at her. He stretched out one arm and shoved Carlie out of his way, "Hey!" She said, following him, he headed straight for the necklace, and picked it up. His thumb ran over it once, he suddenly turned and looked at her, finally speaking. "Where did you get this?" His voice rougher than she thought. Carlie didn't like him, and how he was behaving, "I need you to leave now!" She said, turning, about to show him the door; but he quickly grabbed her arm, twisting her to face him again. "Where did you get this?" He asked again,needing to know badly. "Who are you?" Carlie asked, knowing it couldn't be who took Jasper, but still wondered. He sighed, getting tired of this, "Nathan." He shot out curtly, grabbing her now by both of her shoulders,"Now answer the question!" Her eyes widened in fear, as her head scrambled for the answer and trying to form a sentence. You could tell she was scared by the tone of her voice when she spoke. "I found it... At a friends house..." "Who's house and when?" Nathan demanded as soon as she was done speaking, giving her not time to calm down any. "Jasper's house... A few minutes after he was gone! About over a month ago.." Tears started to form in her eyes, but she never looked away from his. She had never spoke of Jasper since he vanished. Why was she telling him everything, a stranger no less? Nathan looked like he was pondering something, without any work, he leaned down and forcefully kissed her. She tried to get him off, but she wasn't strong enough. Carlie felt his tongue inside her mouth. As sudden as it started it stopped, Nathan hurried towards the door, necklace in hand. Carlie regained herself quickly to notice he was taking her only clue with him. "Hey! Hold it right there! Give that back!" She started after him when he turned to face her, standing in the door way. "Forget about everything. I wasn't here and your friend is dead. Continue on in your life!" He quickly shut the door, before she could react, or even blink.

Carlie took what Nathan serious, unsure if he would come back to do something to her. For weeks she didn't do a thing, which about killed her on the inside, she wanted to find her friend, and someone she cared for. But she just didn't know how. She finally found the origan of the necklace, thanks to the help of a history teacher, and it was a crest to a noble family a long time ago, but nothing they just vanished from the history books, and no one really knows what happened to them. But she continues to search, then finds a really big clue. She noticed that she was being followed, and this was for a few weeks now. So she finally got the person who was following her, and found out it was Nathan. "I told you to get on with your life, but no, you can't do that. Now look what you got yourself into." He said, annoyed that he didn't listen to her the first time, and now she was in grave danger. "What do you mean? I don't understand. What is going on here?" Without a single word, he covered her mouth, and pushed a pressure point on her back, knocking her out instantly. When her eyes started to flutter open, she noticed a bunch of people around her, and got worried for herself, but only for a second. From there, they started to explain what was going on. That they were actual vampire hunters, and that vampires do exist, but the are very down low about it. They got word about Jasper, and how is different from normal humans, and they wanted to create a day walker, so they can find out more about their prey. And they noted that Jasper could be the one to do it, but first they needed him. After he was taking they changed him the very next day, and now he was a vampire. This broke Carlie's spirit, for the person she loved was a vampire, and now she didn't know what to do. They kept on telling her the most odd things. "You see, he is not acting like he should. We have been keeping tabs on him, and thanks to you, we know who changed him." Nathan held up the necklace he stole from her a few weeks prior. "They would have made him one of them, as in a very dangerous vampire. But something isn't right. They guessed right, as in he can walk in the day, and he has. But he is doing something of his own will, and not the will of his master, the one who created him. He, actually, has been spending his time following you around actually. Do you know why that is?" He asked, hoping that she could give him a major clue as in why all of this is happening. But she shook her head, this was news to her, and she didn't know what it meant also. She was told that she was going to be a key part, cause Andrew has started to figure this out, and is getting very mad at her. "Andrew is most likely thinking about killing, or changing you, to get Jasper to corporate better with his coven, but we aren't going to let that happen. Your going to have to be on our side, cause we want the human race to continue, and with you it can. Cause their ace in the hole, isn't turning out so well, other then he can walk into the sun." Carlie took all this in, and new that she had to do something. So she agreed that she would be a hunter just like them.
In a few months, she was killing evil vampires for the good of mankind, but knew that something was going to have to give eventually. She thought about Jasper, and that he was following her, but she couldn't figure it out. She studied old books, but didn't find anything. One night she was in her apartment, when she felt the presense of a vampire, she got ready to fight. The lights went off, and she did so. But soon she was on the ground, and the lights came back on. Jasper's face was only a few inches from her own, and she couldn't believe it. He leaned down and kissed her, for the longest time. Finally breaking away, he started to talk. "I don't know what it is, ever since I was born into this life, your face is the only one in my head, I cannot explain it..."Carlie put the dots together, he felt for her so strongly, that when he was changed, and all his human memories were gone, she was all that was left, so the person in front of her now, wasn't Jasper, but someone that looked like him. She couldn't kill him, even if he didn't remember her, or him, she just couldn't. But she had to kill his master, which would kill him in the end, unless she thought of something else. She is confused, and doesn't know what to do. She keeps her thoughts to herself, and wonders if vampires and humans can get along with each other, and decided thats to dangerous. Humans don't know when a vampire is going to attack. What about the hunters and the vampires, even though its forbidden within the hunter laws, she is still going to try, cause she cares to much for him.

There is a powerful coven, which is lead by Andrew. They are different from other vampires, cause they want power, and lots of it. And those who oppose them, naturally, are vampire hunters. They are train and specialize in the killing of these bloodsucking monsters. Jasper was important to the vampires, cause something about his blood and DNA patterns made him stand out, for when he was turned, he could go out into the sun, unlike the other vampires. And usually, when you are turned into a vampire, you have to follow the orders of the one that created you, but Jasper doesn't. He does what he wants, but still follows his instincts. He will listen to them every once in a while, cause Andrew does has some power over him, but then sometimes he doesn't. Andrew can't predict or control him, which is getting him worried. So, he has been watching him for a while, and realized that Carlie was the key, and so he has a new goal in mind, her. If he gets her, then he will be able to get Jasper to do what he wants. Nathan figured this out, or guessed it. So he filled Carlie in, which is something they usually didn't do. They want everything to be a secret, so people don't panic and get in the way, to make their jobs easier. And Carlie went along with it, and soon was able to defend herself, somewhat, from a vampire. Since she was new at this, she still wasn't good with the very experienced vampires, but was able to handle the newer ones. Will the vampire hunters succeed in getting rid of all the vampires, or will the vampire take over. How will Carlie handle this, cause if Nathan killed Andrew, then every vampire Andrew has created, including Jasper, would die. She loves Jasper, and hopefully Jasper loves her back. Maybe they can coexist, if they cared enough. But the hate goes to far deep, how can other emotions replace that. So, they are stuck in a war, and Carlie is in the middle. Fighting for her life, as some wish to take it away, and for Jaspers life, for others want them all to die. What will happen next?

Over the years, I've noticed that I'm
[I have many personalities. But usually when things go down, I can be serious, but am usually a laid back guy, and don't talk much, keeping to myself. People say I've been known to be a flirt at times.]
I have been through a lot, here is just a summery.
[Well, every male in my family has been killing things that live at night, so why not? I really like it, embrace it more then others in the family. I'm very skilled, and as years went on, soon I became the leader. Everything goes the same way. We find our prey, learn about them, because vampires have eating habits, track them down and kill them. And that's how it runs, smoothly and untainted. But now, there is like a new breed, and it's out during the day. It's a scary thing when a monster gets a new ability and does something it shouldn't. Now everything is a tangled mess, and there is a girl involved. Of course she has to be pretty. But, she acted strange too at first, when I saw her. Followed her for, I dunno, a month before I went to her place and broke in. She was always into books and searching for someone. I already knew her friend was taken and changed, Allard did it again. The largest coven out there, if we can just kill him, we can kill everyone else. So, just to check she was still human, I had to see if she had fangs. It was quite a memory, her lips against mine, found out she was human. Don't think she liked it all that much, couldn't blame her, never been with a girl. But, I've been in this business for a while, and she draws me closer to her by who she is. I don't know what it is, but something about her pulls me close. Feelings in this line of work is dangerous, for now I will keep everything hidden, maybe things will change in time, hopefully.]
Being a vampire hunter, my special talent is

Those who've known me many years, that have ceased to exists said I was uptight. Imagine that. I don't know what you would say I'm now, boring, perhaps. Dull and not lively, that's for sure.]

[I was born in the most horrific way I can think of. All the unnecessary pain and suffering, just to get me fully turned, it was cruel. Maybe I've become the way I am because of that. I want so much, and I yearn for it. I will have it no matter the cost. I will be number one in this world, the underworld and every world I'm connected with, human, vampire, any other mythical creature that is around, I shall rule them to. But, I'm not able to do it all, I need someone to do it for me. Many years went into research, to find someone who's blood stood out, who would be able to withstand the sun while everyone else fears it. It was almost too good to be true when such a person came up, almost when all hope was lost. I didn't miss the chance to get him either. I took him and turned him as quickly as I could. Being his master, I would control him and make him do my will in the world of the living, the sun goers. But, he wouldn't listen to me, no matter how tightly he should be bound to me. Whispers have reached my ears of him following a girl. This is no time for girls, I have my own plans to think of. A tactical man that I am, it was easy for me to see that I would need the girl too. So be it. I will get the girl, and use him to finish out my plan.]

Over the years, I've noticed that I'm
[I get everything done, before I relaxes or do something else. I tend to be clean and organized, and love to cook. Funny, and likes to have conversations with friends, that sounds about right.]
I have been through a lot, here is just a summery.
[Alright, graduated high school and just started college, normal life wouldn't you think? I'm clever, smart, whatever, I just want a diploma to get a good job with great money. I don't think about others when I'm thinking about my goals, which translates to no dating. But, to be honest, I liked talking to Carlie after school, and my small part time job. So, the evenings are the only times to call, only time to date, if I had to choose between the two, I would call. People ask me all the time, I guess I'm that good looking, but I always say no nicely, I'm not a jerk about it. But, time alone is also good, to paint, draw, I'm very artistic, people would be surprised if they knew. It's nice to relax, and get lost in my own world. Then, people come up into my house and take me, ridiculous. I'm not a super kick boxer or anything, but I'm strong enough to defend myself, so I thought. I remember being alive for three more days, and then, nothing.
So, waking up, I was so thirsty. Knowledge from my new master let me know about myself. Jasper was my name, and I am now a creature of the night. I went and fed with him right away. After a few nights in this new life, I was told I can walk into the sun. First I was afraid, and then I tried it. It was such a rush, seeing things so differently then the night life I only knew. Yes, I knew that I was human before, but nothing about that life came to my mind. That's when I saw her. Just a glimpse of a girl turning the corner. Carlie. How did I know that name? It was apart of me to know, I needed to know more, so I followed more. Thoughts and clips came into my mind, but nothing really made sense. This didn't make sense. I was afraid to tell Allard, for he might kill the girl. But, he felt the control on him being loosened as time went on, that wasn't right. Something was wrong, and I'm afraid.]
When I found out, guessed what happened to me.

Over the years, I've noticed that I'm
[I tend to be very straight forward about things, but put the wrong emotion to things. When I should be angry, I'm happy, or sad. Or when I'm supposed to be flirty, I'm aggressive, it's all backwards. I'm a little quirky though, no matter what extreme of emotion I tend to be at.]
I have been through a lot, here is just a summery.
[So, I really don't know how I got my start. My mom was a hunter, I guess, and she was friends with Nathan's mom, so I've known him all my life, and when he started to train and stuff, I wanted to prove to him I can to, because to me he always seemed indifferent towards me, like I'm not another person and not a girl in his eyes. It bugs me to death. And so I became skilled, as did he, but of course he was destined to lead us, now I have to follow him, which sucks a little, but is manageable, because I"m the only girl he gets to see a lot, we spend much time together, which is fine by me. But then, he doesn't treat me any differently, and is to himself, and I don't know why.
But then that girl came along, and he was all over her. I heard they kissed, and my hair caught on fire. He is mine, even though he doesn't know it yet. But, that's another story. I'm thinking of acting all sweet and stuff, just to get that other girl killed, then I will be the only one left in his life once again. He has to see we are perfect for each other, he just has to! But, I feel for the other girl, because of her problem, I don't know. I will do my job, killing the undead, if she keeps away from my man. If she doesn't, she will have to answer to me, and she isn't at my skill level yet. So two, three seconds she will last. If that.]
Being a vampire hunter, my special talent is
[Well, you see, I am able to feel when things are close to me. It took years to learn this, but you can feel the vibrations in the earth, which is handy when vampires are light on their feet.]

Over the years, I've noticed that I'm
[I'm thoughtful, and quiet, but when I say something it is smart and helpful. I'm very loyal and obedient, honest and trustful, even as the dark creature of the night that I am.]
I have a long history, here is just a summery.
[I remember the night very clearly, a handsome man came up to me, and asked me to join him in the woods for a picnic, which is something my foolish self agreed to instantly. And then he told me what he was, what he was planning to do, and I was afraid for my life. But, I couldn't do anything to stop him. So, I became a creature, a wife. Allard changed me just on my looks alone, and some of my personality, as him as my master, I have to obey every single command that he makes. Which suites me, because with him as the leader, that makes me queen, something I am very fond of. Over time, I began to loath not being able to do things as freely as I once did, or have thought to have. I'm tightly bound, for when he took me as his wife, we did something that you don't usually don't do when changing a vampire, a secret ceremony that made me his more tightly then before. He keeps me as a trophy, something with no little affection for, which doesn't do well for my spirit, I want love, and I want things I can no longer have.
Then, one night we went to get this boy, and he made my silent heart beat a single beat. It was amazing, I want this boy for my own. I wanted to turn him, for him to obey me, but then I didn't. I didn't want him to live the life I have, to have no will other than your masters. I've heard rumors that if your strong enough, you can break that bond. And it seems the boy we picked as our destined day walker has done such a thing. He has to teach me, I want this more than anything. It's a certainly something to make Allard angry. I've been with him all of this life, and had never seen such a reaction in him. I sure hope he makes it out without his life being a forfeit. I will do everything I can to protect him, he shall be safe as far as I'm concerned.]

Over the years, I've noticed that I'm
[I can be a little timid at times, but when I put my mind to something, I'm average, I guess. I'm funny and somewhat talented. Usually get confused very easily, but I solve other peoples problems faster than my own, so helpful, I guess you would say.]
I have been through a lot, here is just a summery.
[So I'm just your typical girl, right. I went to school, got good grades, didn't get into trouble. Didn't go out much either, so the trouble thing isn't all that good. I've had a crush on this boy for the longest time. But, am too afraid to do anything. So, we just remained friends, he doesn't care for me anyways, too good for me. Sigh. I wish he just saw me for once, instead of having the crowd of girls around him. I can't do anything about that. We graduated together, and ended up at the same college, I was so excited. We ended up calling each other ever night, did that mean we were dating. No, we were just friends. But, once on the college scene, I actually got asked out more, boys didn't know I was there were now coming onto me, I was really flattered, but always said no, because I called Jasper during dating hours, I guess. Then that one night changed everything.
I did everything I could to figure out what happened to him, but nothing I did was good enough Now I"m all confused, because this other boy came into my life, and I'm not going to lie he is good looking, but I love Jasper, I know that. As soon as I was clued in, I'm going to do what I can to help, but what good is that. If I ever get close enough to kill Andrew, Jasper will be killed in the process also. So, now I'm stuck between right and wrong, and then the issues of my heart, what a mess.]
