For Ab '09 I'm planing two cosplays, one Linear Cannon from the Sega game Evolutia and Lina Inverse from Slayers. [Hopefully to enter Cosplay chess, wish me luck. x3]
However I'm having a delema with finding wigs. I've found a sufficient wig from cosworks for Lina and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with that shop.
However for linear it's not so simple. A few months back I found a Wig that was absolutely spot on what I needed. Unfortunately when I logged on to buy it this month they were sold out. I E-mailed the manufacturer asking if they would possibly get any more soon but I never got a reply.
I found two alternatives but For the cosworks I checked the color roster and they don't have an example of the only wig close to blond in that style and another that is a good length and I can get in a close color but by the picture I cant tell if a]The wig is cut funky and b]if it can come out of it's hair ties.

As you can see it's very long and very blond, I need at least a 35-40inch wig and my price range is $40 max per wig [Or else I could so not afford the rest of the costume.]
Personally I'm leaning towards the cosworks. I need to order the wigs Asap and I was wondering if you could help me out.
Any suggestions would be greatly helpful. Thank you. <3

Cosworx is awesome. They'll probably have a table in the dealers room at AB, but I've had friends who have ordered from them before, and things came in lovely condition. I've read other people have had issues with getting the wrong thing/damaged items, but cosworx supposedly has good customer support and will replace them if need be. I highly recommend them, as would most of the people in the cosplay community, heck it IS linked to the cosplay.com main site!
Actually, you might not like this suggestion, but here goes:
The long 40 inch wigs tend to have more diverse fibers. For what yer looking for, I'd go with a wig that you can pull into a ponytail, that's it; then get a pair of packages of toyakalon extensions (which will be four feet) gather the fiber together, and tie them off with a rubber band, seal it all with hot glue (as most people tend to have that aroung, and do the same to the short ponytail on the wig. Trim it, glue them together, and cover up the merge with the characters hair tie of choice.
It's give you the length you want for the ponytail, and release you from having to worry about getting the bangs and hair colour right.
You might want to look ar drlocks.net for extensions, katiebair.com has a fiber-match chairt, and amphigory.com for the wigs.
