Heru lines up with a target and readies his bow.
"Split into many."
Heru starts firing arrows which split into several bolts of light striking the target.

Jake walks in surprised that some else uses bows and arrows.
" that was cool," he says. then he grabs his bow and strings it. he sets up aim and shoots. he shoots ten consecutive shots in half a minute.

Shadow calmly walks and and strings his bow. standing as far away from Heru as possible he fires one and breaks the target.

Jake smiles at him, "sometimes its not about power but about accuracey, unless your trying to get through armor." he sits back and watches as shadow breaks the target. "good job now try it farther away."

Shadow stands back and aims at a new target. He fires and the very tip of the arrow sets on fire, burning the target. "Best archer in my group before..." he lets the sentence trail off.

He had been watching from the window, he enjoyed watching people practice with lethal weapons... he didn't know why, but it got his blood bumping.
He jumped from the window while conjuring a crossbow, when he hit the ground his crossbow was conjured and ready. He rolled forward, got to his feet and shot at the target. The bolt spontaneously turned into lightning, piercing the target and the tree behind it.

"I am glad you approve, but I am rather disappointed..." he got a bulls eye, but the effects of his crossbow were not what he wanted... but will suffice

"Disappointed? You used raw power and focused it into one pointe, bettre than what I did." He nods, leaving out the parte that the stranger had done equally as well as his best shot.

"No I am glad I hit my target with perfect aim... the bolt was suppose to explode when it hit the ground..." he walked behind it and picked up the bolt, then incinerated the bolt "I don't want any evidence of my battles... so I am trying to enchant my crossbow to destroy them when they impact targets"
