There is no way twilight can be better than HoN.
First of all, sparkling vampires? Why not just put a c**k in their mouths. Seriously. Queer.
twilight is too complicated. How could Edward have gone forever without loving someone? Seriously. It's unlikely if you ask me that he's suddenly interested in Bella just because he can't read her mind.
Bella is a FAILED character. "I'm not pretty, no body likes me." She's emo. Seriously, Britney Spears could be Bella in reality. She's good at being depressed.
Robert & Kristin are HORRIBLE actors I hope they O.D on anti-depressants or take a Paxil and commit suicide.
The only good part about twilight is everyone else, aka Alice & Jasper. I wish there was more to their story than water Stephenie Meyer wrote.
Stephenie Meyer is a novice writer. I can find writing like that on any internet forum, so she needs to go back to school. Second, she needs to make more REALISTIC characters because Bella and Edward are the typical Mary Sue and Gary Stu.

I have to agree with Paradise & Terrruhfied.
I love romance as much as the next person, but Bella is OBSESSED with Edward.
After the whole sex thing in Breaking Dawn, I lost all respect for her. Edward too. He just kept giving it to her. It's his fault Bella's spoiled.
I don't like the fact that Renesme is used to bring them closer together.
It's not like she was planned; she's smart and she'll figure it out. Thing is will she kill herself over it?
Personally, HoN is action and drama but twilight is just drama, drama, drama! I seriously thought I was reading a plotline for an MTV show.

Okay twilight was cool when I first read it because it was new.
The story was dramatic and intense and just amazing.
I think I only thought this because I had JUST gotten back into reading thick books since like 4th grade.
BUT!
The last book was a let down.
The End.
She definitely rushed it, but whatever. It's over. Finally.
Now we gotta put up with her bitching about how Edward's story isn't coming out because people are posting it on the Internet.
NEWSFLASH: It's on her ******** website! How are people NOT gonna take it?
The movie seemed exciting.
I bought a shirt & Alice necklace and dressed up like Alice the night of the premiere.
BUT!
10 minutes into the movie; it was horrible!
I couldn't believe I was wasting sleeping time for this piece of s**t. I only went because I wanted to see the Meadow Scene and because I'd promised my mom and two friends we'd see it.
CATHERINE RUINED IT! SHE MADE EVERYTHING WAAAY TOO RUSHED AND RUINED A PERFECT ORIGINAL IDEA!

twilight, new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn are all written the same. Like s**t you'd find in fanfiction.
Yeah I used to like it, but now I love it because it makes me feel better about myself.
If I don't like my writing, I just flip open one of Stephenie Meyer's books and fix my "n00bness" because that's all she is.
Stephenie is too novice and its annoying how she's so famous; but I'm partly to blame because I did buy the books. Oh well. Their great fast-food reads when I need a pick me up. [PROPS TO MS. FISHER FOR THE GREAT TERM: FAST FOOD READS]
Stephenie doesn't write about vampires, she writes about f*****t quick people who call themselves vampires because they have fangs. Vampires don't sparkle so get your legends right Stephenie.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you.. I only bought the first book. I won't be buying the others, because I don't feel the need to reread it. It is not something I can read again and again... like HON! Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

I can't stand Bella in Twilight because she is too obsessive and needy. She can't do anything on her own. Everything is 'Edward, Edward, Edward.'
I Believe she would have been better off with Jacob, whom I love, by the way.
Jasper and Alice are the best characters out of the entire story.
They are so much more original.
The whole thing with Alice being the only one to escape from James
and Jasper's awesome war history, I don't know, it's just more intriguing.
If Stephenie Meyer were to write a book on them, I think it would be better then both HoN and Twilight.
In HoN, there are several things that annoy me, like the fact that the characters are supposed to be in their late teenage years. From the people I know, I have never heard a 17-18-19 year old refer to things like 'bull-poopy'.
It annoys the hell out of me.
Also, the behavior is not something you would expect from people of that age.
I could understand if the characters were 15-16.
Even Aphrodite's obsession with her guys seems like it is written in a more childish manner.
Out of these books, I have re-read Twilight saga more because of mainly Alice and Jasper, and of course, Jacob. The HoN series begins to get a little to boring after re-reading more then once or twice.
I do, however prefer the Vampire Academy over both of these.

I agree with Par.
The movie sucked big time.
Too rushed.
And they left out Alice's story!!
I think that is what peeved me the most. Her and Jasper where not included in the story enough.
The movie itself was rushed, incomplete and hard to follow.

I'm not that big a fan of Vampire Academy.
I was confused at first with the different vampires, but I got after a while. It's a good read, don't get me wrong, but it's missing something. I love having something we readers aren't supposed to know in there, but there's too many secrets and its annoying. Also, I'm not that big a fan of books written in first person. I'll read them; but I prefer stories that are told from a narrator. Recently a friend let me read on his iPhone and I'm totally hooked on a book that I read a few lines from and that is Brom Stroker's Dracula.
The ORIGINAL VAMPIRE!!!
I saw the movie and have begged my older sister to get it for me!! I personally, love the original vampires over anything else because they are so much cooler. Transforming into a werewolf or giant bat?
Brom Stroker was and always will be the epitome of the original vampire legend and he should always remain that way.
Vampire stories cannot compete with the original novel and I can't wait to get my hands on one soon!! biggrin

i agrre with all the comments stated above. the movie sucked and everyone became huge fans after JUST seeing the movie. everyone knows the movies are not like the books. just because an actor is hot (which theyre not) doesnt mean that the movies good or that they can even act, WHICH THEY CANT! finally there is a place i can vent where everyone has the same outlook/opinion as i do.

I think Twilight WOULD have been amazing if they would have concentraited more on the world of vampiers insted of Ms. Obbession. =w= It was still alright
House of night I loved it till this last book what was with all the unnesseary nekkidness. And the immature words I don't care if they are teens no one uses the words boobies that much.

ok i own all the twlight books and i have to say they are a peace of work i mean come on ohhh edward is obsessed with bella i mean he even said "i'm addicted to u like a drug" edward looks like a druggy drunk so its bella is obsessed with edward ohhh ya there obsessed with eacher just date all ready
