I don't know if I've been paranoid or what, but a couple minutes ago (1:46AM to be exact) I was reading online and watching TV at the same time.
I stopped reading and looked at the TV and I saw the figure of an (old maybe?) man walking by my mirror. I got scared and tried waking my sister but she was too tired so I just calmed down and decided to share with you guys.
And earlier today I had to vacuum the hallway, but I had the feeling something was behind me. I tried ignoring it but the feeling grew stronger and I felt I couldn't turn my back to the kitchen.
It was just so creepy. Is it just me being paranoid or is there "something" going on?

I make it a general rule to always take things seriously when they involve a mirror...So I would recommend a simple cleansing and sealing of said mirror and having someone look into your home to see if there is in fact something there. The person you pick to check it out with you should be someone you trust who is good at finding things and getting them out if needed. If you want information about cleansing and sealing the mirror, just let me know.
Mirrors can be used as portals. If you have an unsealed mirror in the house it can be a dangerous thing, especially for someone who is aware of the presence of things not quite physical. Also, NEVER put a mirror on a closet door...

To look into my home, I have no one. o.o
But I will make sure to do something with the mirror. It always freaked me out anyways.
And putting a mirror on a closet door? PSH. I would never do that. It is just kind of something obvious to be aware of. xD (Also from that movie "Mirrors" when the little boy kept seeing people dying in the mirror on his closet door when he was trying to sleep, THAT WAS SCARY AS HELL.)

o.O I dun understand the mirror on the closet door thing...at the house back in Florida, my sister's closet has folding panels for the main doors and then a small regular slotted door for her closet doors. The 2 folding panels (4 sections) are mirrored. Full length mirrored and I've always felt comfortable in her room. Never sensed anything or felt anything other than comfort. >.> On the flip side though...I did get to meet a resident of my town the other day. She resides in one of the houses I pass by going into town. Continuing the Insanity -Kiti-

Continuing the Insanity -Kiti- The reason is simple: Not only can mirrors and closets both be used as portals, but closets are a natural place for things to hide. They are small, dark, and safe. Remember when you were a kid and you were probably scared of the "Monster in the closet"? Yup, it was probably real. Now combine the portal-type properties of mirrors and closets with the hiding properties of closets, and what you get? A doubly-potent portal with a safe hiding place that is hard to be found in. It is a bad situation, our apartment currently has a closet with two full-length mirrors as doors, and we've had to keep sealing it because things can watch us or even attack us through them, then hide in the closet...and I have to keep reminding Amy not to leave the closet door open (I'm going to put a sign up if I get attacked by a closet buddy one more time...)

Right now my friend texted me that she hears scratching noises by her closet/mirror. I asked if she had pets and she said fishes don't scratch and her hamsters are out of her room. She doesn't really know anything about spirits, spirit guides and the such. What should I tell her to do?

This year has been bad for mice, our home never really had mice until we heard scratching noices above our heads. Sometimes it's coincidence. If upon a visit to her home you get a genuine sinking feeling, then a healing and energy drop should be done on the home. It's safe for both the people in the home and the spirit that could be lurking. I'm a strong believer in the potential that all spirits have the ability to behave, so healings are preferred. Usually I heal the spirit then send them to a more familiar place where they have a better chance at encountering people who will cherish them.

I haven't been to her house before. :[

I got that feeling once a week after my cat died, and i took a picture behind me, and i saw a white orb-ish thing in the shape of my dead cat, so it's always possible that it could be an ancestor or a past relative you don't know coming to check on you!

Oh hell my closet doors ARE mirrors crying and it's at the head of my bed too. I can't sleep with it open either XO it bugs me. It's probly because when I was about four I saw something come out of it [when the doors were closed] it was big maybe 6 - 6 1/2 ft tall all black with red eyes [also the night light was on right next to the closet] it was scary!!!! gonk

I went outside waiting for my cousin Galaxy ( Yes her real name. ) and it was cold, nighttime, and dark. But I was just standing on my porch so I knew I'd be fine. I looked on both sides and saw no one, no cars, not even my neighbor who tends to be out all the time and leave at night a lot too. I stood outside for about a good 2 minutes and I was wondering whether I should head inside or not, then I felt a spine chilling stare coming from both sides. I stood still and looked both ways again but still no one. I then remembered I had to put in the next steak to cook so I headed back inside. My step-sister and my sister were in our room so I was the only one in the kitchen. I put in the next steak to cook and when I looked at the entrance of the kitchen I saw a black shadow quickly hide behind the wall. Since I only about three feet or so from the wall I just peered over and saw nothing. ( Btw, our house is like when you walk in its the living room and its connected to the kitchen, then theres a hallway leading to the rooms. So I would've seen someone leaving the room to turn the hallway. >.< ) It was weird since I felt I was still being watched.
Although I am the youngest, my sisters can't cook so I had to cook for them. xD Parents were working.
