are you going to get the hand and foot prints done?
i've gotten a cute little memory book from walmart for around $14-15 with tax. i got the one "for boys" with animals on it since it's neutral colored and mentions nothing about a baby boy in it specifically. plus it's got cute little animals on the pages inside while in the pink one, it's mostly just flowers and the same ones at that which makes it get a little boring to look through.

there's winnie the pooh memory books there too in blue and pink, but my mom was really into that stuff with my 2 youngest siblings, so i'm pretty much sick of the whole winnie the pooh theme.
i've also been thinking about getting some sort of hand/foot-print kit.
they have one that's kind of like a plaster thing at walmart for around $10.
i actually i think there's a spot in the memory book for the hand/foot print. it might be in there around where you can put the birth certificate and social security number. i'll have to check again.
if anything, i might just get a pad of ink and do it on a piece of paper and put it in a frame.

I got an awesome baby book from Wal-mart as well. I think it was like $12. I should take a picture of it for you all. I love it. It's an animal themed one as well, but it's more colorful than the one you've shown. It has very detailed fill-in-the-blanks, and it goes from birth to age 5 or something.
I make sure to take a look at it every month or so and fill out what I can. I love having it and I'm going to do my best to keep it up to date.
Something I've found handy when it comes to a baby book, is having a calendar around. You can write out the special "firsts", like first bath, first words, on the calendar and then you can remember the dates when you write everything out in the book. It's a lot easier than whipping out that baby book every day in the first year when they're doing all that new stuff!

i really wanted that one, but they're not in stock in any walmart within 100 miles of my zipcode and i've looked too.
=(
they do have some of the other stuff in store for that theme though that i plan on getting.

I just have a giant scrap book I've been filling and decorating myself.
It's got my pregnancy tests in it (gross, right? sweatdrop ), appointment cards for the midwife and doctor, scan pictures, pamphlets from the midwifery unit, bump pictures, even bus tickets from my first hospital appointment.
Everything I can lay my hands on, really!

oh, i'm definately going to scrapbook!
i can't really put any pictures up on myspace or anything because my dad and his stalker wife will take the pictures and put them in their albums and talk s**t about me but call my baby their grandbaby like they did with my older sister.
stupidly enough though she kept putting pictures up anyway and would turn around and stalk their pages just to "see if they got any of the new pictures yet". =___=
i don't want anyone taking any pictures of my baby except for me.
i don't wanna risk someone putting pictures up on myspace and then them getting to it because they know how to get to everyone's myspace that i associate with and can get into their page whether it's set to private or not. some of them are even on their friendslist.
so i'm just gonna scrapbook all the pictures i take and if anyone wants to see them, they can ask to see the scrapbook.
and no one can see my baby unless i'm there and i highly doubt i'll let anyone babysit. i'd rather put my baby in a daycare since they have no need or time to take pictures unless it's just for the center (like group pics) and i'd get a copy of it.
i may be a little paranoid about pictures, but i'm not going to get like how my older sister is.
i had all the blinds open one day cause it was really nice out, and she came and sat on the couch and was like "omg, it feels like someone's watching me!" and close all the blinds but 2 that were further away from her and her baby.
ridiculous!
