Sitting in a blank party lit room the girl glanced at the red on the wall. During the long times locked in the room she would think to herself

"I fell like a trapped animal in here, no one should have to suffer like this."

She grounded flopping down on the bed there was nothing to do in there. She has been alone since she was very young. Shaquita had really no reason to leave her room, but it was always locked so even if she wanted to leave she couldn't. she wasn't even allowed to attend school. But one day he closed the door after his daily visit with her. Akito forgot to lock the door thought she didn't even notice she never liked being in that room everyday, having no idea what was happening out side of it.
Shaquita sat in that room day in and day out. Only being allowed out to eat. But even then she was to be in sight of the head master. He would never take his eyes off her for one minute. By the time they were done eating he took her back to the room.

"Get in there" he said.

Once she was back on the room , he would yet again shut and lock the door once she as back in there.

The next day Akito came by her room and said:

" I am going by the school to investigate the trouble maker I've hearing about."

Once he had left, she caught herself staring at the blood on the wall remembering how it got there. She began to hear the door creak as it slowly opened. Shaquita turned around thinking Akito was back from his run to the school, but to her surprise Kazumea stood in the doorway. He blinked seeing the girl near him.

" Are you okay?" he asked from a distance.

with tears rolling from her eyes she shook here head saying

"I've been locked in here since i was a child." she said.

Kazuma smiled softly and wiped the tears from her eyes and said.

"Don't worry, you won't be here much longer."

He took her wrist and pulled her from the room.

"Come with me" he said.

She followed him freely looking around hesitantly as the left the house.

"Were are you taking me sir?" she asked.

Kazuma looked back at her for a moment.

" Some were away from here, Safe from Akito. Where you can be free of this."

As they were walking Shaquita realized Kazuma wasn't going to harm her. He only wanted to get here away from Akito, to stop him from hurting another person. The approached the school. Kazuma stopped seeing Hatori's car.

"We should fine a different way" he mumbled.

She nodded looking up at the gray haired man.

"yes" she whispered

The turned and walked another direction. Both walked threw the night and by the next morning found themselves at a dojo far away from the Sohma main house. Kazume walked into the dojo holding the door open for Shaquita.

"Kyo, I have returned from my earran."

Kyo walked down stairs to greet his grandfather.

"welcome home, how did the erran go?" asked Kyo

"It went fine, I got what I needed done and now I'd like for you to meet some one Kyo"

He stepped aside where Shaquita was seen.

" Kyo, I'd like for you to meet Shaquita, she is going to be staying here for awhile."

" Oh i see so I guess I have to take her up to my room" Kyo grumbled.

Kazuma Nodded
"Yes Kyo, her room is your's for the time being".

Kyo nodded and walked back to his room, Shaquita following him closely behind.

"Make your self at home, my room is yours " he said.

She nodded at Kyo

"Thank You."

Kyo ran back down stairs almost furious with Kazuma

"What were you thinking bringing her here?, You know what happens with some one of the opposite gender hugs another."

Kazuma shock his head lightly looking at his grandson

"She is part of the Zodiac Kyo" Kazuma said.

Kyo ran his fingers thru his hair.

"But don't you think she'd be more comfortable at Shiqure's place, She'll be around others like her, instead of me, I go there every day so i can drop here off on the way to school." Kyo said.

Kazuma sighed knowing Kyo was right.

"Alright, I'll give Shigure a call and see if it's alright with him,

"But, don't do anything without checking with me."

He walked from the room. Kyo nodded and jogged back up stairs. He knocked on the door.

"May i come in?" he asked.

He waited for a few moments but received no answer. Concerned he let himself in the room.

Kazuma hung up the phone and called Kyo down stair again. After hearing his grandfather call his name he closed the door and went back down stairs to see what his grandfather needed.

"Yay" said Kyo.

"Tomorrow you and her are to go to Shiqure's house.' said Kazuma.

He then nodded in agreement to what his grandfather told him. Kyo headed back upstairs taking and extra step kicking the door open. Hearing the door she turned around with rage flashing in her eyes. She pins him agents the now closed door.

"ummm we have to go to Shiqure's tomorrows" studerd Kyo.

She squeezed his shoulders and pushed him back further into the door. You could just hear the wood splitting. Shaquita grit her teeth and thrust her fist through the door next to Kyo's head.

"If you ever say a word about what you seen here, i will KILL you!!!"

Kyo stared at the enraged girl, he nodded unable to speak. Shaquita backed away allowing the cat to hit the ground.

"GET OUT!!!" She shouted

Kyo quickly jumped to his feet and scrambled from the room. He looked up seeing Kazume looking at him with a strange look.

"Did yo-" Kyo began.

Kazume rose his eye brow.

"What?"

He shook his head remembering the girls harsh words.

"I'm sleeping down stairs tonight." he said

Kazuma blinked and nodded quietly.

Kyo awoke from his uneasy sleep as the morning sun began to shine through the blinds, He sat up and stretched. He walked to the kitchen and poured himself a glass of milk. He pulled a not off the refrigerator carefully reading it over

"Guess i need to go wake up the girl." Kyo sighed

He put the empty cup and note down on the counter. Again Kyo sighed as he walked back to his room.

"Shaquita.." hesitantly Kyo murmured

He knocked on the walk outside his room.

"Shaquita it's time to get up" Kyo called out.

She cleared her throat to let him know she was awake. He remained outside the door.

"Shaquita, how did you get those injuries?"

She pulled her long-sleeved over shirt over her head and walked from the room.

"I don't see how that is any of your business."

Kyo nodded at her, Knowing better to ask her anymore questions.

"After you eat some breakfast we will head to Shigure’s."

Shaquita shook her head.

"I don't need to eat, lets just go now."

Kyo blinked and agreed, not stupid enough to argue with her.

"Shaquita, how did you get those bruises?" Kyo hesitantly asked

She looked back and slid her fingers through here dark colored hair

"It's nothing, just lost a fight between and Akito and a wall."

Kyo backed away almost expecting her to hit him. Shaquita chuckled and grabbed her bag.

"Kyo you look like you just s**t your self."

He chuckled nervously and grabbed his bag.

"So how did it happened?"

She slid her shoes on before looking back at Kyo.

"I attacked Hatori by mistake, stupid b*****d got in my way when i was going for Akito."

Shaquita pulled her hair into a pony tail and stepped out onto the porch. Kyo followed closing the door behind him.

"Kyo, How far is this this Shigure’s house?"

He looked back at here before jumping down.

"Not far ten-fifteen minute walk, Tohru will probley be at school with that stupid rat."

Shaquita chuckled lightly, then the smile faded from her face.

"Lets just go already, enought with the small talk."

Kyo nodded and started off into the woods. Shaquita sighed and walked after Kyo. The ground was still soaked with dew and with each step debrie from the ground stuck to their shoes, What seemed like only to be a minute later the two came from the woods infront of Shigure's house. A man with short dark grey hair walked up to them.

"Kyo, lead her to Yuki's room."

Kyo glared at Shigure then looked back at Shaquita.

"Follow me."

As the walked past Shigure he mouth dropped. Kyo grabbed Shaquita's arm and pulled her inside.

"Trust me you will thank me for getting you out of that."

She glared at Kyo then slapped him in the back of the head.

"Who gave you permisson to touch me?"

He rubbed the back of his head. Hastuharu chuckled looking at Shaquita.

" I see you haven't changed"

She squealed and ran to Hastharu pouncing on him, locking him in a vice-grip huge.

"Haru! I'm so happy to see you!'

He chuckled lightly and pushed her off of him.

" I can tell...How did you end up with that cat?"

Shaquita stood and offered a hand to Hastuharu. He took her hand and pulled himself up off the gound.

"Are you alright?" Hastusharu asked

touching his finger to a newly formed bruise.


She nodded and brushed his hand away. With out another word she walked to Yuki's room.

Tohru and Yuki walked inside the house. Kyo glared Yuki and lunged at him. Yuki placed his hand in the middle of Kyo's head holding him back.He squeezed down lightly then sent Kyo flying. Shaquita looked at the gaping hole in the wall and sighed

"Idiots."

Tohru looked at Shaquita and smiled lightly.

"Hi, I'm Tohru Honda"

Shaquita looked at the girl and lightly nodded.

"Shaquita Sohma."

She looked at the younger girl, then at Yuki. He nodded and looked at Shaquita.

"She is the rooster, she took Kureno's place."

Shaquita disappered into a backroom. Tohru looked at Yuki again questionally. He shook his head and put a hand on Tohru's shoulder.

"It is best to leave her be."

Tohru nodded and walked off into the kitchen to prepare dinner.

By that evening the house was repaired and Kyo had returned. Everyone was sitting around the table. Shaquita passed out falling over into Hatsuharu. He placed a hand on here back his eyes growing wide feeling and seeing the blood from her shoulder.

"Someone call Hatori!" Haru Shouted.

Yuki got up and ran to the phone, Haru took off his shirt and pressed it against her shoulder Only a soft groan passed from her lips. Yuki walked back in.

"Hatori said he was one his way." Yuki quickly whispered.

Haru nodded quietly in agreement. Shiqure’s walked back into the room towels grasped in his hand.

"Haru, the towels will work better then your shirt."

He glared and took the towels in his hand, He stacked the towels on his leg and laid her wounded shoulder on them.

"Damnit Hatori, hurry up!!" Haru said loudly.

The fifteen minutes it took Hatori to drive to Shigures felt like hours. Hatori stood in the door way and sighed.

"Don't just stand there Damnit." Haru shouted

Hatori shook his head lightly and stepped over to where the girl lay. He Knelt down and lifted her up. Hatori lightly cut away the blood drenched shirt.

"Nothing to serious, a minor cute"

Quickly he tended to her wound and placed her back on Haru's leg.

"She should sleep through the night, but for the next few days don't let her do anything to...drastic."

Haru nodded and lightly stroked his fingers through her hair.

"understood Hatori"

Hatori nodded and walked from the room. Haru slid his arm under her and lifted her up as he stood. Yuki jogged up to his room and pulled the blankets.

"So you will stay by her side tonight?" Yuki asked

Haru nodded and placed the sleeping girl in the bed. She ground lightly but did not wake. Yuki quietly walked out leaving the two in the room. Haru sat down and looked at Shaquita.

"What have you gotten yourself into?"

Shaquita woke laying in the room, the light from the half moon lighting the room. Haru was sleeping in the chair.

"Haru..." Shaquita whispered lightly and she sat up.

As she did Haru woke and lokked at Shaquita. He touched his hand to her cheek. She smiled lightly,

"How did i end up here?" she asked cautiously

Haru rubbed his hands together.

"you passed out, we called Hatori over. You scared us bad."


She slid her fingers together and looked away slightly.

"I'm sorry Haru, I didn't mean to worry you."

Haru sighed and lightly slid his fingers across her cheek . She sighed and glanced at him.

"Tell me what happened."

Shaquita brushed his hand away.

"It was nothing, i just fought Akito."

He sighed and lightly hugged her. She blushed lightly and pushed him away.

" None of you would understand" she said to Haru.

" I am not sure if this will help or not, But there is one person in the house who has been threw this and you may not like him but he does know what you are going threw and lives with this pain each day" he said to her.

The morning rush within the Sohma house wasn’t a very unusual sight. Yuki was the last to wake as he walked to the doorway Shaquita met him.

“Hey Yuki can you give me directions to the main Sohma house?” she asked

Yuki gave her a blank look and then walked past her. She gave a slightly annoyed look and glanced around. She silently scolded herself for even considering asking
Kyo. Shaquita sighed and reluctantly stepped towards Shigure.

“ Hey Shigure-sama can I have the directions to the main house?”

Shigure looked at Shaquita curiously.

“Why on earth would you want to go there?”

She shrugged and slid some hair behind her ear

“No reason, are you going to help me or not.”

Shigure chuckled and wrote down the address. He looked at her and held out the napkin.

“You looked better with long hair.”

Shaquita smirked and took the napkin in her hand. She playfully flicked his nose.

“That is the exact reason I cut it, I’ll be gone all afternoon don’t look for me or I’ll kill you.

She walked out and headed towards the main house.

Lyrina stepped onto the Tran station platform. She pulled the coat tighter against herself as she stepped into the snow.

“Unexpected guest. And if Kureno is hurt in any way I’ll kill you Akito.” Lyrina whispered to herself as she walked.

Lucky for Lyrina the main house was fairly close to the train station. The wind blew causing the loose raven colored hair to twist lightly. She squinted seeing some one with black hair with brown highlights.

“Never seen her before.” she lightly whispered breaking into a run.

She dashed into the main house and seen Kureno lying on the ground with a knife in his shoulder, the girl was holding off Akito. He grit his teeth and swiftly pulled another blade out and cut in into her hand causing her to release him. Lyrina looked at Akito and swiftly pulled the blade from Kureno’s back.

“ I am going to kill you!.” Lyrina whispered and charged at Akito.

He backed up as she swung the blade, it cut above his nose and down his face. As she moved for another cut Kureno grabbed her. She looked at him then back at the girl who saved him. Shaquita looked around then quickly darted from the house.

Hatori came out from around the corner wondering what was with all the commotion that was happening. Looking at the damage that had been done, he then looked at the door the was hanging on by one hinge and then seen Akito on the ground his face covered in blood. The girl then looked over at the door and with a sweat drop running down her face.

“Did I do that?” she whispered.

She then quickly returned to tending to Kureno’s wound. She then moving him gently to were she could place the bandage securely to his wounded shoulder. After making sure she has it secure around the wound she then sat him up all the way and tired a make shift sling around his arm.

“Are you alright Kureno?” She asked him.

He looked up at her with a raised, then he responded to the question.

“Yes, I’ll be fine thanks to you my sweet raven.”

They both then look back and see that Hatori is arguing for Akito to get his hands off his face so he can see how bad the cuts are on his face.

“Akito move your hands so I can see how bad the wounds are.” Hatori said.

“No way!” Akito shouted back at him.

He then grabbed Akito by the wrist and forced his hands off his face in order to see what the wounds were like.

“Akito I need to get you inside and quick this wounds are very deep and you need stitches now”

He then helped Akito off the ground and rushed him inside.

Lyrina chuckled lightly enjoying her handy work. Kureno looked at her with a raised eyebrow and softly slapped her in the back of the head. Lyrina laughed lowly and helped the man to his feet. She softly kissed his cheek.
“ I’m glad you’re alright. If not that stupid Akito would need a lot more than stitches.”
Kureno smiled softly and put his arm around Lyrina’s shoulder. Lyrina smiled again and let her hand come to rest on his side. Kureno snuck a kiss on her forehead as he stood straight. Blush shot across her face as she looked at him. He was smirking, she chuckled and helped him to his room.
“Hun, I’m staying here tonight…I don’t want to leave your side…” Lyrina whispered to him.
She helped him to his bed and he sat down before he fell back. Lyrina took her place at his bed side and stroked her fingers through his hair.
“Go ahead and rest my love. I’ll be here when you wake.” Lyrina whispered and lightly kissed his forehead.
Kureno smiled softly and took her hand in his, he pressed a kiss on her hand before he closed his eyes lightly.
“One thing…you cant…hurt…Akito.” Kureno whispered.
Lyrina smiled softly and nodded.
“Alright, I promise I wont hurt the moron…” Lyrina chuckled.
Kureno’s breathing softened as he drifted off into a sleep, Lyrina smiled softly and moved onto the bed. She laid next to Kureno and put her head on his injured shoulder. Lyrina closed her eyes and was soon sleeping.

Shaquita ran threw the woods until she came upon Shigure’s house once again. Panting as she tried to catch her breath she realized that she has to find away to cover up the wound on her hand. There was no way she was going in the with it exposed cause then that would only mean’s one thing and she did not want that at all. Then she started tearing off pieces of her sweater and rapping them around her hand. Once she was done she opened the door and said.

“Shigure, I’m home have the renovation be done so I can move out of Yuki’s room”

He peaked around the corner of his office and seen her standing in the door way.

“yes, the renovations are done so you do not have to share a room with Yuki anymore.”

“thanks”

She quickly ran up stairs to get her stuff out of Yuki’s room. Once she got into Yuki’s room she began to move her stuff out and into her new room. All that was heard down stairs was the clanking of her moving stuff from one area to anther. Next thing they heard was a this big boom. That could on indicate one thing that Kyo was back once more. Shaquita just stood there looking at the gaping hole in the roof and then back at him.

“KYO!!!!!!!” said a female voice calling from behind them.

He then looked up at were the voice was coming from. Then looked back at her and said.

“GET OUT OF MY WAY SHE IS COMING!!” Kyo shouted.

She moved out of the way for him to get out of there. With a blank look on here face she looked back at him as he darted from the room. By the time he had left the room she went back to getting her stuffed moved around. As she was doing that there was another big boom. She thought it was Kyo crashing back into the room but to her surprise it was a girl. The girl was not paying attention to were she was running and she wound up running Shaquita smack dab into the middle of a wall. Once she has realized what happened. Kagura was surprised to see that she has accidentally knocked her old friend to the ground.

“AHHH I am so sorry I did not realize it was you” she said as she offered a hand out to help her off the ground.

“It is fine Kagura it happens I mean after all it has been a along time since we have seen each other.” she responded as she took hold of her hand and got herself off the floor.

She began to dust off the debrie that had landed on her when she slammed into the wall.

“Kagura are you still going after Kyo from what he said back when we were all little kids?” she asked her

“Yes, He made that promise to me and I intend to make him keep he word to me I will not let him go not in a million years.” she responded.

Then she looked down and noticed a droop of blood on the floor from where they were standing at. She then glanced at Shaquita. She shoved her hand in her pocket cause she did not want any one to see what was done to it and then Kagura asked

“Were did this blood drop come from”

As she looked at Shaquita hoping she would have and answer for her. She shrugged and then looked at her with the a puzzled looked on her face.

“Kagura if you want to find Kyo go look in his room up stairs two doors down on the left from my room.” she said

Hoping that would distract her from seeing the blood drenched fabric around her hand. She was not in the mood to listen to any preaching about how she needs to have that looked at by Hatori. She did not even want to go there because she had enough when she was attacked by Akito when all she was trying to do was save kureno from being killed by him.

“THANKS!!!” she shouted as she ran off down the hall to his room.

As soon as she was out of sight she took her hand out of her pocket and continued once again to move her stuff out of Yuki’s room before he got in from school witch was only and hour away so she rushed to finish moving her stuff out. Just as she was getting her last few thing out of his room. She could hear him coming up the stairs talking to Haru. A sweat drop ran down her race as she picked up her pace to get the rest of her stuff done. Just as the rounded the corner she was done and closing the door to her room.

“So we having to get every thing ready for tomorrow if we are to get her into school by the spring time” said Haru

“Yes, I mean she has not been to school since she was with him and I think it would be a good idea that we should get her in-rolled for spring term at are school” said Yuki

“That is true there and plus she will be around ones that she has known since we were all kids and she will be safe as well cause she went threw a lot of the same things you did when you with him Yuki if not worse.” responded Haru

“I would have to say that she went threw worse then what I did, I mean after all she was bruised up on both arms and down her back to were she had as cut on here shoulder.” responded Yuki.

“ well I will catch up with you tomorrow I am going to see if she needs any help arranging her stuff in her new room” He said

“okay, that will give me time to get it sit up were I can get her a uniform that will cover up the bruises on her arms and stuff. “ said Yuki as he walked to his room.

Haru walked down the hallways till he got to her room. He knocked on the door.

“Who is it?” she said from the room

“Its Haru.” he said.

She walked over to the door and opened it and sure enough it was Haru standing there in the door way. She panicked at the site of him cause she realized her hand was not rapped. She quickly placed her hand in a pocket and open the door all the way to let him in.

“Come on in Haru I was just getting organized now that I have my own room and not having to share one with Yuki any more” she said to him

“I was coming to see if you needed any help getting every thing together before tonight.” He responded to her.

Looking down at her hand she has in her pocket he began to wonder why she was not showing that hand.

“Any particular reason why your hand is in your pocket?” he asked.

She looked at him with wide eyes and then said

“No, I had my hands in my pockets as I was walking around the room trying to figure out were I wanted to put my stuff.” she responded

He then looked at her with the I do not believe that look on his face. He then grabbed her arm. In response she turned around and with drew her hand to slap him in the face. He reached up and grabber her hand before it reached his face.

“What happen to your hand?” He said

She turned away from facing him because she knew now there was no way to hide the fact that she went to the main house.

“ I went to the main house to talk with Kureno about something, when I got there he was on the gound with a knife in his shoulder. I seen that Akito had attacked him so I went to hold him off and the next thing I know here comes this black haired girl running out of no were grabbing kureno and once she seen how bad he had attacked him I was not paying attention to Akito and he pulled a second blade out and cut my hand all the hell and back I did not stick around for Hatori cause he was to busy taking care of Akito.” she said

“WHAT?!?!? Akito did this to your hand how on earth could you of let something like this happen, you know if Kazuma found this out he would be so disappointed with you. He said.

“ I know, But go ahead and call Hatori so we can get this over with.” she responded.

He nodded in agency to what she had said and went down stairs to call Hatori. As he was on his way down the steps Shigure stopped him and asked him what was with all the commotion up stairs with him yelling and the banging around. Haru looked at him and said

“The yelling came some form me cause I found out that Akito has once again hurt Shaquita. As for the rest I think that is coming from Kagura chasing down Kyo yet again.” he said

“Haru, are you ever going to tell her how you truly fell about her I mean you can not keep them away from her forever she will find out how you truly feel about her sooner or later.” said Shigure

As the were talking they head a laud crash come from upstairs. Shigure jumped up from his desk and ran upstairs with Haru not to far behind him. The went to each room trying to figure out were the noise came from. The approached the last room were Shaquita was at.

“Shaquita, Can we come in, is everything okay?” Haru asked

There was no answer from with in her room. They both looked at each other with concern in there eyes. Haru then picked the lock to her door and let himself in. She was just laying there on there on the floor with glass shattered all around her. Haru rushed in and picked her up off the floor.



Kureno woke up, he looked around and tried to get a since of what time it was. He looked at his shoulder and see Lyrina sleeping. A soft smile crossed his face.
“Lyrina…you’re so sweet…” Kureno whispered.
Lyrina’s eyes fluttered open and she looked at Kureno and quickly sat up. She was lightly blushing but also worried she had hurt him.
“Kureno, you okay? Did I hurt you? Are you okay?” Lyrina whispered panicked.
Kureno sat up and placed his hand on the side of Lyrina’s face. He gave a soft smile and shook his head.
“Lyrina, you didn’t hurt me so please calm down. I’m okay my shoulder feels a lot better now actually.” Kureno whispered softly.
She gave a soft smile and unbuttoned his shirt so she could look at his wound. She gave a soft smile and pressed a light kiss over the wound. Kureno smiled at her and put his arm around her. She shrieked surprised, blush crossed her face.
“Kureno…” Lyrina whispered.
He wrapped his other arm around her and pulled her into his lap.
“It’s been so long since I’ve been this close to you. You have to tell me what has been going on.” Kureno said.
Lyrina laughed lowly and kissed his chin.
“In the morning, right now the injured people. Meaning you my precious rooster need sleep. But I promise I’ll stay right by your side…and not kick in that doofus’ face…” Lryine said sweetly but then her voice changed to an irritated tone.
Kureno gave a soft nod knowing arguing would be stupid, he laid back pulling Lyrina down with him. She chuckled and rested her head between his shoulder and neck. Kureno smiled softly before he fell back asleep.

Hatori walked up to Kureno’s room so that he could tend to his wounded shoulder. As he turned the knob the door slowly cracked up, before he got to far into the room he stopped in the doorway and seen that him and Lyrine was fast asleep. So he quietly shut the door and went back down stairs.

Haru reached a hand out to help her up off the ground. There was glass every were. It was like a jigsaw puzzle of trying not to get hurt in her room. He gently sat her on the bed, checking her over for any new cuts seeing as she was becoming a klutz.

“what was that?” he asked her

“that was the glass angle you gave me when we were just kids I went to movie it just before I could I had to move something else so I sat it on my sheath robe and when I turned around I bumped it with my elbow and it came crashing down around me.” she responded.

He then looked at her and started to chuckle at what had happen.

“ You know what…” he said

“What?” she responded

“This is the very reason I fell in love with you from the very first time we met each other at the main house. You always mad me laugh, you never hurt any one even if they had hurt you first, you just let it go and that was all you did.” He said to her.

A slight tent of red crossed her face as she looked at him. Then a smile came across her face.

“ You know what Haru I have also always loved you from the first time I met you as well.” she resonded.
Lyrina felt a shaking on her shoulder, she yawned and sleepily opened her eyes. Hatori was standing over her.
“Lyrina, you and Kureno need to get away from here. Akito is mad and unless you get away from here soon I fear he could possibly kill you.” Hatori whispered.
Lyrina sat up and wiped out her eyes. She yawned and looked out still seeing darkness. She swallowed hard and gripped Kureno’s hand tightly in hers. He groaned and opened his eyes.
“Lyrina…loosin’ your vice grip. That hurts…” Kureno groaned.
She only tightened her grip until he sat up and looked at her then up at Hatori. Lyrina looked at Kureno a panicked look in her eyes. He sighed knowing two and only two things could scare her that bad. Loosing him, and the dark.
“ Hatori…why is Lyrina breaking my hand…I swear if you did something to her…”
Lyrina put her hand over his mouth and quickly shook her head.
“He says we have to leave…tha-that Akito was really angry. And it is so dark outside!”
Hatori sighed softly and put his hand on Lyrina’s head.
“Go to Shigure’s, I’m sure he has room for you guys. And it’s safe, Akito wont show up unannounced.” Hatori whispered.
Kureno pried his hand free from Lyrina’s he stood up and buttoned his shirt up. Lyrina got up from the bed and walked to Kureno. He put his arm around her and kissed her forehead.
“Calm down sweety, we will be fine at Shigure’s for a few days but then we are moving to our own home.” Kureno said.
Lyrina gave a soft nod and wiped out her eyes. Hatori sighed softly and opened a secret passage way in the back of the room.
“If you value your life you wont come back here…that means you raven.” Hatori said.
Kureno looked at Lyrina, he moved his arm around her and held her securely.
“She is to scared to argue with you right now...we’ll just be on our way.”
Kureno led Lyrina from the house and the two started out towards Shigure’s. Lyrina’s body trembled and tears streamed from her eyes. Kureno hugged her tightly.
“Lyrina, calm down. I’m here, I will protect you. Promise, you have nothing to worry about as long as you are with me.” Kureno whispered as he looked at her.
She cried softly.
“I’m sorry…I’m so..scared of the dark.”
Kureno picked Lyrina up, she wrapped her arms around his neck and gazed deeply into his hazel eyes. After a brief moment she pressed her lips over his, Kureno returned the kiss.
“Well what do we have here?!” Shigure shouted.
Kureno broke the kiss and looked at Lyrina. She was pissed off.
“Shigure if you want to live, I’d run now.” Kureno joked.
The color faded from his face and the dog took off running back into the house. Lyrina twitched lightly and got down from Kureno’s arms.
“I am going to KILL HIM!” Lyrina shouted’
Kureno chuckled and followed her towards the house.
“That is my Lyrina.”

Haru and Shaquita were up stairs cleaning up the glass. Upon doing that they heard two voices coming up the stairs one was a very familiar, as for the other one that they heard was not all that familiar to them so they had no clue who else was there. Shaquita picked her head out the door and seen Kureno coming up the stairs with the same girl she seen the other day that attacked the s**t out of Akito. She then with drew her head from the door way hoping that neither of them seen her. The rounded the corner Kureno stopped in the door way and looked at them both. She looked out and relized that he was standing there with the girl.

“Raven?” She said

The girl looked up at her wounding how did she know what she was when this is there first time ever seeing each other face to face.

“Yes, But My name is not Raven It is Lyrina and what might your name be.” she asked

“My name is Shaquita.” she responded.

While those two were talking Kureno happen to glace down and notice that her left hand was cut up. There was only on way that could of gotten that way. Placing his arm around Lyrina. She looked up with a smile on here face.

“what don’t you head on to the room and get are stuff all settled in and ill be there In a few minutes I need to speck with Shaquita alone here.” he told her.

“okay I shall go and do that then I will see you in a little bit then.” she replied

As she headed off to the room, he looked in around he corner of her room and asked if Haru would leave so that he could talk with her in private. He of course did as he was asked to do and left the room so that they could have time to there self’s.

“So, Shaquita is it?” he said

“yes” she responded

“I noticed that your hand it cut up pretty bad what happen to it?” he asked

“Oh this it is nothing I just lost a fight with some one cause I dropped my guard so it is not big deal.” she replied.

“No, Big deal my a**, You got the cuts on your hand from when you tried to protect me from Akito that day. You should really call Hatori and have him take a look at that hand of yours.” he said

Before she could even say a word he had already left the room and was on his way down the hall. She knew he was right about that, she really does need to call Hatori and have him look at her hand. That is just one of those things that she can not avoid at all. She then reluctantly walked down the hallway to were the phone was sitting at. Picking up the phone she dialed the number to the main house praying that Akito will not pick it up.

“Hello, this is the main Sohma house, How may I help you” said a female voice on the other end.

“Ah, yes ma’am I am calling for Hatori, is he around?” she asked

“Yes he is, Please hold I shall go and get him for you my dear” responded the voice.

So the person on the other end of the phone laid it down and went to get Hatori. While she waited she was very scared to ask him to come out and take a look at her and with every one around her at the time, but she had not other choice it was either let him look at it and let it got untreated and get infected then she would not hear the end of it from Haru and that she was not in the mod for to deal with him and his black side.

“Hello, This is Hatori” he said

“Hi Hatori, Its Shaquita I was calling to ask if you could come out and take a look at my hand if you are not too busy there with anything.” she said

“Sure that will he no problem, Just let me know what time and I will be out there for you” he responded

“Tomorrow morning when they head off to the Market, pleases.” she said

“Ok, that will be good I will see you tomorrow morning” he said.

She then hung the phone up and went back down towards her room to turn in for the night she had a big day with ahead of here tomorrow.
