The Crystal Forest is a section of forest located on the southern side of the mountain of the Ijutsu. The Crystal Forest's climate is completely different than the rest of the mountain as it snow here, but doesn't have any blizzards and also, the trees are encased and made of an organic crystalline substance that seems to be nearly indestructible and diamond hard. The crystalline trees also gather light energy to undergo photosynthesis like normal trees as these crystal trees are also alive. The trees also act as crystals that refract light, causing different colors of light to shine down on different parts of the forest. At the heart of the forest however is a lake, which for some unknown reason isn't frozen, and under the lakes surface is a stairway, but it is not visible from the water surface. This stairway leads to a secret system of tunnels that stretch under the mountain and can be sometimes used to hide as some secret places in Niechaa no Kanshisha have stairways leading to this system of tunnels, however, very few know of the tunnels.
