After fourteen year old Kairi Roswell got out of the hospital, she went looking for Tristan, furious since he never told her that he was a vampire. When she couldn't find him anywhere in Tokyo , that only put more fuel into the fire.

Now three years later, seventeen year old Kairi is as busy as ever, school books, homework, and two jobs to keep her mind occupied. If only that were the case. No matter how much she does, she always wakes up and falls asleep thinking about the boy who turned her, those blood red eyes forever hunting her. She held a huge grudge against him and was ticked off for what he had done and even more so for running away while she was knocked out cold. And yet, she can't help but still have feelings for him, even though she fights it.
Little does she know that Tristan finally comes back to town, but he came back for a reason that he will not tell her.

Meanwhile, evil has and been cooking up by a half-vampire called Tom, who is building a army of mixed races. The question to why he is doing this is unknown. But, we know one thing for sure: He's after his brother, who is the one that turned Kairi, for something that he wants so much that he'll kill anyone who gets in the way.

Tristan didn't want to do, but to save her he had to change her. To make her stronger. To help her survive. After he changed her he left the country, and didn't tell her anything. He figured that would be better for her. Now he's back, and wants to be with her again.

How's he going to do that, is the question unknown, but he'll do anything to get what he wants.
