ⓖⓞⓘⓝⓖ ⓣⓞ ⓣⓗⓔ ⓄⒷⒼⓎⓃ First Appointment At my first appointment, I had to get a Ganaria swab, and a Pap Smear done. It was very simple. I just had to undress from my waste down. And the doctor took a look at my private area. She ran a Q-Tip like thing across my cervix, and examined my ovaries. Then I was able to get dressed again, and answer a few questions from my doctor. After that, I was able to make an appointment for my Ultrasound and some Lab Work.
Second Appointment At my second appointment, I got to get my first ultrasound done. They had to use a probe (which is very easily slid into the v****a), since the baby was so tiny, that they couldn't see it with doing it against my belly. I, again, undressed from waste down. Laid on the table, and saw my baby for the first time. The baby squirmed and squirmed, and it was really neat to watch. Especially since I didn't feel any of his small movements. I got teary eyed, like most mother-to-be's, because it really hit me. I was carrying a baby. Providing it life, and safety. The motherly feeling really kicked in. After that, the Doctor gave me a picture of my baby, and sent me off to the Lab. They had to take some blood, to check for other STDs, and to check to see if I was Anemic. I'm not too good with needles, so I just stared at the baby's picture, and it was alright.
Third Appointment My third appointment took place here in Virginia. It was a lot like the first, I had to give some info. But that was pretty much it.
Fourth Appointment My forth appointment was an ultrasound. I was very anxious, because it took the U.S. Tech a few moments to get all my babys info. The measurements, and make sure his organs were okay. And finally, the doctor asked me if I wanted to know the sex. I agreed, of course. And he announced to me that I was having a baby boy. Joe was so thrilled, not only was it his first time seeing his baby, but he got to find out what it was.
Fifth Appointment -Just another ultrasound-
Sixth Appointment -A regular check up-
Seventh Appointment This appointment I was afraid of. I had to drink some nasty Sugar stuff. It tasted like overly sugared Orange Soda. Then I had to wait an hour in the waiting room, and get my blood taken. My sugar level was 171, when it's supposed to be 140 or less. SO, of course, I have another appointment scheduled, in which I will drink the orange stuff, and get blood taken every hour for 3 hours.
