Women aren't any less important in the church than men, but they should only lead in certain aspects...not as the head of the church.
Yes, they aren't less important. I'm not a feminist or anything, but why?
may I ask you to support your answer?
Sure, as I stated before, the church is set up as the house of God, and since the Bible states that the man is the head of the household--that is the basis. However, 1 Tim2:11-14 " says : A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner."
I can't find the other verses directly supporting all male leadership but that's because I'm not looking hard due to a headache. Now, before I go further...do I believe a woman who leads a church is going to go to hell or that her congregation are destine to that fate? No, I can't and wont say that I do think that or that the Bible says that. All I'm sayingis that Jesus chose all males to follow him and to spread the Good News, he didn't pohibit women from following and spreading but he didn't encourage it either and when speaking about Christ's leadership, Paul and others consistantly reinforce the idea that women have a role, but not as "head" of the church.
It's not a culturally accepted notion these days but I don't agree with much of today's culturally approved ideals so...
