The Outer Rim can be a very dangerous place to live and work. However after the end of the Sauzer Heresy the current Emperor, Arkunish IV, continued a little known project of his father to bring greater security and prosperity to the Outer Rim of the Empire. As more Draconian forces were assigned to garrison and battle duties in the Outer Rim to break up some of the criminal syndicates and cartels that were allowed to form during the beginning of the second dynasty. Now a new saga was unfolding in the Empire regarding a new foe...

arrow Nicara system

Location: Outpost Jolombos
Purpose: Long Range sensor station, scanning the southeast Outer Rim and the corresponding section of the Draco-Milky Way super void
Time: 2245 Draconian Standard Time (30 hour day)

"Outpost Jolombos registering itself on the Draconian Tachwave Network. Receiving communication lease which expires in 30 hours. Assigned to Frequency 4039247. Sir, we are good to go." The Communications officer said to the base commander as he registered the station on the network for the current day. "Ok, roger that. I guess I'll get myself a cup of coffee." Replied the still tired base commander. "...Sir! I am detecting a massive fleet of epic size. Calculating it to be.... Over 4 billion strong!!" "That can't be! How did we not see it coming? Where is it now?!" "It's coming into the Nicara system through a area of the super void known as the Ankarth Rift! Sir, we can't detect anything coming in from the Ankarth Rift! They should be arriving within the system in the next five days!!"
"Send a Tachwave message to Sector Command in the Tobo system! Have them send a communique to Canton Command and warn them a massive fleet, possibly invasion force, is arriving here in Nicara! Tell them to rely whatever commands and directives they have for us and to have them advise us as what to do! And have all hands on this station go to full alert!! Yevon help us...."

Outer Rim Naval Command

Admiral Fulgrim, Commander of the Outer Rim Draconian navy, sat silently in his office. He read a data slate slowly, frowning as he paused reading to sip his coffee. The report stated losses incurred upon the fleet during the Crusade of Cleansing. A knock at the door jolted the Admiral from his reading. Flicking his gaze to the door, he called out in a soft yet powerful voice, "Enter."

Entering the room at a swift pace, Lieutenant Rada threw up a swift salute, her words tumbling out at insane speed. "Sir. A forward post just sent a distress signal! We have reports of a force thats over four billion strong!"
The Admiral dropped his mug with a smash. "Four million and we only just heard about it? Where the hell are the deep space orbitals?!" The Admiral asked, throwing himself to his feet and snatching his cap.
"Gone. We got a few screams and a chewing sound. Our technicians are still studding the sound to try and work out what the sound means, and if we can work out what it looks like from this information."
Admiral Fulgrim ran a hand through his white hair, then placed the cap on his head. "Ready the entire fleet. Recall it all now. I don't care what they're doing. Get them here by any means necessary Send a message to the Lord Admiral, the Emperor, and the Commander of the Army. Explain the situation and implore them for help."

Ariadne System
New Imperial Palace, Ariadne 5, Ariadne City
2749 in the evening (Draconian Standard Time)

Emperor Arkunish was looking over some documents. Mostly financial statements gathered from the Estates Imperialis, the trillion man strong department of the Draconian central government that handled record keeping for all other organizations, the Emperor looked at the documents from within the comforts of his personal office. The room was illuminated by the soft light of plasma candles, a new age throwback to more traditional times and a nice personal touch by the Emperor himself. Arkunish heard a knock on the door to the chamber and gave persmission to come in. Grand Duke Targrimheim followed by two of his advisors came in with terrible news. With a respectful bow he greeted the Emperor with news that bode ill portents. "M'lord, we have received word from the Tobo system it seems that a forward outpost on the Outer Rim was attacked and destroyed by a nearly innumerable fleet of unknown origin. Currently this fleet is suspected to be moving through the Outer Rim their destination is currently unknown." The Emperor paused for a second as he put down the datapad full of information. "Fleet of unknown origin? Why did our deep space sensors not pick up on them?" Targrimheim replied, his face wreathed with confusion and embarrassment. "M'lord, I cannot answer that question. All I know is that parts of the Outer Rim sensor system were shutdown in order to provide maintenance. But the fleet supposedly numbers in the billions it would have been impossible to hide a fleet that large from us without us seeing it coming. I will look into this immediately." The Emperor leaned back in his chair. "Targrimheim, I am leaving here in a few days to oversee the purification and rebuilding of Second Gaia. Please make this situation go away. As the Commander of the Army you have unlimited number of bodies to throw at your problem. I will see what strings I can pull to help you out with your investigation. Go with Yevon now..."

Episode I: The Draconian Dream
Chapter I: The Great Devourer Cometh

"I have ruled the great star nation of Draconia for less then a year now. I have seen much sorrow and much happiness in it's people. I have seen my flock resist the Burning Shadow and the predations of other mortal nations. I feel great happiness and honor being able to lead such a fine people. It is 61020 AG, the year of Abelroth, it is the dawn of my days as ruler.... And the dusk of my....... days as a mortal."

Surface of Second Gaia
Ruins of Neo Barton City, Old Imperial Palace
Second Gaia System

As one peered out across the broken and Hell blasted landscape of Second Gaia they couldn't help but notice a mighty battle was waged here. The ground still littered with the trillions of bodies of both demon and mortal alike. The standards of both sides still filled the skyline for Draconia and her allies it was a Pyrrhic Victory for the United Demon Nations it was a Crushing Defeat. The world was still tainted by the tormented spirits of those who lost their lives their the cities that once climbed high into space itself now were shadowy wrecks of their former glory. I days past this world was a savage battlefield. Six armies, and two navies clashed over this one world. Each refusing to back down, each convinced it was in the right. Now Second Gaia is the domain of the priesthood of Yevon who fight ceaselessly to bring comfort to the beleaguered population of Second Gaia and to cleanse it's wilderness of beasts left behind when Hell withdrew and was defeated as well as put to rest the spirits of those who died in it's defense.

A lone priestess of Yevon who was strong of spirit and kind and just to a fault. Elena stepped out into the bleak, but still breathable, Second Gaia landscape from the walls of Yevon Monastery 1042. The Monastery was a field clinic and small battlefield command post these were setup on post war Second Gaia and similarly fated worlds it help the often troubled surviving populace. Elena scanned the horizon and said. "Another dark day for our people... May Yevon speed us along the path to victory...." Elena began her morning prayer as she had done countless times before. "...From the predations and temptations of the universe, Yevon deliver us. From the evil that lay within us, Yevon deliver us. From the Burning Shadow, Yevon deliver us. From your immeasurable wrath, Yevon spare us. To your immeasurable favor, Yevon deliver us. To your unending glory and shining kingdom, Yevon deliver us. Be to us as a guide is to the lost, leading them to safety when all seem content to do harm. Be thy staff and thy rod, be thy sword and shield so that we may smite the foe and protect all from their rage. Be unto us a father and protector. Lead us not into damnation but unto glory and victory...." Elena got up from the ground. She still recalled her days as a Granas Songstress, she wondered how many had died here and how many spirits she would be able to send today. She grabbed her staff and robes from the nearby holder she placed them on. "Elena! Elena! Did you here?! The Emperor himself is supposedly coming here to Second Gaia in order to visit! Oh this is great news I can't wait to meet him." Elena turned to face brother Rauros who was a initiate they both were young, in their 20s, but they enjoyed the wisdom of those many decades older then them. This was a boon from their lord for their continued faithful service. "No, I hadn't heard. I try to focus on religious matters. I look over these walls everyday and see the horrors that our soldiers faced and can't help but think how can such creatures exist. You heard the sagas of the many wars between Yevon and Dark Falz, right? And how Falz became the Profound Darkness?... I find it odd Yevon wouldn't have destroyed a entity outright and it materialized here in the mortal universe. The naval might of Draconia, her allies, and Heaven's Seraphim Corsairs was needed to banish it back to whence it came. I think of all this and can't help but wonder are we doomed or has the Dragon Time passed?" Rauros replied in a calm manner. "Such things are beyond the reckoning of us mortals. All we can hope for is to find happiness in life and to serve till called. It's really sad that the Draconian Space Forces have ignored this planet. I'm sure our contingent of Warrior Monks could use their help. I heard a regiment of them got wiped out near the ruins of Zanarkand. Really brutal stuff. And everyday the Maester Council ferries millions more to this world, to their deaths." Elena shuddered as if in disgust, but it was really fear. "I can't help but think what would happen if those things decided to take this position." Rauros exclaimed with a bit of arrogance. "Those dumb things lost the ability to coordinate after the great battle. They are lost and disorganized, you know that." Elena smiled slightly still quite nervous. "Your right. Though I would feel better if we had a stronger military presence on this planet. Let us start our noble work, we will speak of this again."

Admiral Fulgrim strode slowly past the command console, watching as the ships of the Outer Rim gathered. At the moment, roughly 1,000 had gathered. Rather worryingly, several planets had been virus bombed to let the fleets leave. The captain's responsible had already been executed, but the fact worried the Admiral. "Prepare the Emperor's Child."

Draconian Military Tachwave Network - Military News Channel

A New Race?

High Command and the Emperor's Office have yet to identify the new assailant coming in from the intergalactic abyss nor have any known galaxies been detected in the direction they approached from which leads us to believe their trajectory is hinged to hide their origin in space or that they come from a location very much far removed from our own. Regardless of this High Command has dubbed this new race Tyranids after the word in New Draconese meaning plague.

The Second Plague

Indeed the Tyranids are a plague their fleet numbers in the billions and they consume worlds entirely as they advance. They don't appear interested in holding any space, much like the now defeated Shivans, instead they merely seem intent on consuming the organic natural resources of the conquered planet and move on. Currently dozens of worlds in the Outer Rim have been devoured so far. The Draconian navy is still unable to counter this new threat.

Dragons to the Slaughter

Two Manus Dei marine armies the 411th Shovan Desolators, and the 237th Aprina Home Guard made boarding actions against the Hive Fleet in a attempt to slow them down by causing collateral damage and ensuing chaos in their ranks. Both forces met with failure a million casualties suffered in the first few hours alone; High Command is planning to send more ground forces to the Outer Rim to assist the beleaguered Vox Dei navy but anticipates that it will take some time before the forces are organized into a meaningful fighting force.

A Word from the Emperor

The sitting Emperor, Arkunish IV, has not turned a blind eye to the situation here in the Outer Rim. In addition to promising the vassals, sytem, and planetary governments of the Outer Rim more money and resources for modernizing and rebuilding he also promised them continued support and greater awareness of their plight from the central Draconian Administratum. He has stated that he is working closely with his military advisors and is looking into new strategies to use against this new foe. Expect more info on this tomorrow.

Home of the 229th Flying Tigers

"Good morning pilots I am Admiral Jima and I will be giving you today's briefing. Admiral Fulgrim over at Outer Rim Naval Command has started going around the Outer Rim requisitioning naval forces for a counterattack he is organizing in Togo and the 229th Flying Tigers are one of the fighter-bomber squadrons he requisitioned.

The 229th is a proud wing we are relatively new having been formed during the Sauzer Heresy we were one of the fighting forces that stayed loyal to Him on Second Gaia and though the aforementioned planet was destroyed we continued in faithful service. We were among the many forces bombarding Sauzer's corrupted palace and we were among those present when the now Emperor Arkunish rose his body high broke the Demon Prince's back and through him into the Hell Portal thus sealing it. Since then we've been flying the now standardized Mara class fighter-bomber and we've been patrolling the space ways of the Empire.

The 229th by it's design is an aggressive unit, somewhat hot headed we have a lot of pilots who are no longer welcomed among their earlier units and find a home here. Though we are still a disciplined fighting force and are expected to act as such. Currently we are preparing to head to Togo system where we will join Admiral Fulgrim's task force. The DRN Imperium, DRN Hannibal, and the DRN Basilisk are all part of a carrier group of three carriers preparing to move out. Funny enough the 229th is being stationed aboard the DRN Imperium and I am being given command of that ship so I guess we'll be seeing more of each other until then however your free to do as you like. We're shipping out in one day."

DNS Pride of the Emperor

On the edge of the system, twenty pinpricks of light flit into reality. Whisps of the warp clung to the metal, ghostin away as reality erased it.
Chief amongst the ships, easily the size and length of a mountain were it cuboid in shape with a plow on the front, and hung with pennants that marked it as a ship designated for carrying the Royal Family with no loss on war efficiency.
In words the size of Two men on each other shoulders were the words "Pride of the Emperor".

On the busy bridge, nineteen ghostly figures knelt infront of a figure in gold power armour. Their forms shimmered as the holographic projectors configured and computed at thousands of times the speed of light. The figure regarded them calmly, his helmet lying beside a long blue blade. "the situation is thus," the golden armoured said calmly, obviously concluding a long briefing, "the United Demon Nations, as the heretical bastards call themselves, slipped the nets set by former Grand Admiral Spencer, Emperor preserve his soul." he paused politely to let the others mimic his words if they chose, then continues "the Emperor himself asked me to purge this rock." he looked coldly between them. "we will bombard this place. They will feel the wrath of the Emperor on them and despair. We will lock into a geostationary orbit, and bombard it. Medium yield. I want that place levelled by the time the troop transports arrive."
He paused, eyes flicking to confirmation lights set so that he could see they agreed without interruption. He glanced up at the tactical map, watching his fleet splinter and speed up as they moved to their predetermined positions. A trio of ghost dots shimmered as warp gates started to register. Troop transports had arrived early. Good. Did the Suwayyah Marines good to see the navy at work. Three new figures appeared on his pedestal, and the Grand Admiral nodded greeting. "Early. My compliments. Please rotate your ships so that your troops will see the bombardment. Run the anthem of the Empire as we commence firing. Upon our bombardment, have their planetry anthem play as you prepare to commence the liberation. I believe I need not tell you that these are demons in human flesh and must be purged. Tell the Commissars to be vigilant. No hesitation will be accepted. Execution for hesitance without good cause."
The Grand Admiral leant forwards in his command throne. "our orders are clear, gentlemen." he nodded to a female captain. "lady. Serve the Emperor in this. Let us be his sword." he switched his gaze to the map again. The ships were in position. He smiled cooly, and hit a button. For a moment, his voice would be in the Emperors ear. "My liege, your forces are in position." he released the button and nodded. "Fire."

Grand Admiral Daemon SaDiablo
Draconian Imperial Navy
DNS Pride of the Emperor

When the local space sensors the demons had corrupted were triggered, many things happened.
Vile heretical videos were played to the populace, telling them how the false emperor sought to return them to his pathetic empire. The mood on the streets was riot as the 'people', mostly a mass of demon with one last human trait, sought blood.

Unnoticed, twenty human PDF troopers slid into a broadcast station. They knew what was coming. Invasion. They hit a console, and keyed a repeated message. Two words cycled on a loop. The twenty troopers, who had been resisting since day one then went outside, singing songs of the empire, and set up a defensible position and started killing. Had they glanced up, it would have appeared from their position on the small planet that four angels had appeared as the ships reached their position.
By the time the manoeuvre was complete, 17 were dead, slain by dark arts and soldery. By the time of the externinus order, just one still fought. Tears fell down his filthy face as he fought. A bullet winged him and he fell. A demon stood over him and raised it's sword with a dark laugh. The soldier looked up as the Navy started their firing. The Emperor protects us. Yu Yeven protects us." the soldier spat blood at the demon. "No one will protect you."
The demon smiled at the words then drove his sword into the soldiers stomach. As he was thrashing and dying, the demon growled "we will feast upon your Emperor. Your false god worships us."
The soldier started to scream as pain. He had one last glimps of a light. Yeven was coming for him, he knew.
The shall atomised the soldier, and demon alike. It was the first round of a bombardment that lasted only two hours but used almost a million shells.

When the bombardment stopped, the transports moved to a standard invasion position. From within them came the swarm. Millions of drop ships and close air aircraft flew for the ground. The troops begin to deploy. The battle net was online already. All 23 ships streaming constant updates to their helmets to keep them informed to get more home. The general gave the orders, which the colonels set about. The majors told their captains who moved their squads. The lieutenants took their half squads to various locations, telling sergeants in control of corporal led fireteams what the privates had to do.
The Suwayyah Marines were famed for fast efficient deployment. Under their command of the Grand Admiral, whom they had nicknamed Warmaster affectionately, their efficient nature was expanded on for his approval. Among the men, a religious and rigous fever was raging. The Commissars and Priests had told them how this planet had once been a simple farming world. People would come here to retire from serving the Emperor. He had given it to them long ago as a gift in recognition of service and decreed it never be founded upon. The demons had mocked this, taking the population. The marines set out to capture their 26 primary, 58 secondary and 372 territry objectives.

"They aren't all dead!"
That was the last reported words of squad Theon Bravo at Objective Alpha 23. The only sound was gunfire and then triumphant roars of demons. Despite the area now being cleansed, the words had spread. The Grand Admiral scowled from his throne. If these fools were Templars, this planet would have been scowered clean. Unfortunately only Marines had been handy. He'd have to raise the topic with the Grand Templar. She had commitments to the Empire. He wasn't happy with how these Marines were so slow. He tapped a communications link to the General leading the assault. A Robute Gulliman, if memory served. Straight up and down guy. Deadly loyal but opinionated to the hilt. "Can we hurry this up? I aware to the Emperor this sector would be cleansed with all the haste the Suwayyah have. Imagine His displeasure if He were to hear this is their fastest."
He smiled, listening to General Gulliman try and explain. Grand Admiral SaDiablo cut him off. "I may just contact Him now. He will be asking soon how the first strikeback in two years went. He's had to wait while we rebuilded for two long years thanks to the scum He has entrusted you with fighting. Is this his reward? This is now a high support mission. I'm disappointed."
Gulliman begun to splutter and SaDiablo shut the link. The blue lines of the battle sights were thickened as reinforcements were sent in. Fire support requests begun to cycle to the various ships who begun pinpoint support. To the Demons, it were as if the Apocalypse had come.
In a way, it had. SaDiablo was the horsemen combined, and the Draconian Empire was dusting off and getting back up.

Grand Admiral Daemon SaDiablo smiled coldly. His eyes lay on the objective points. The dragon flew across the land. The demons had been pushed off the pain land masses, holding onto only three roughly 10 square mile islands. Tactical data suggested losses would be mild to medium and the attack would need several days. The Grand Admiral, light of the empire and second to only the Emperor was livid.
"This will be done in a day!"
His rage seemed to shake the ship as his implanted nodes that connected him to the ship made the reactor cycle up to a higher speed, matching his heart.
"I was told speed is important. This planet is to be the stepping stone to the resecuring of the outer rim!" The golden armoured male drew his pistol, to the horror of the terrified tactical staff. "or do you not want that? Are you maybe a heretic?" the admiral racked the slide slowly, sliding a plasma charge into the barrel. "Heretics should be exe-"

A young male strode forwards, eyes aglow with excitement at the danger of the situation. His arm bore the rank of Ensign. "we could bombard. Our weapons are superior. Our logic unflawed."
The admiral Rose the pistol, putting a shell through a tactical lieutenants eye. "Take his badge, boy. Ranks yours."
Leaving the body, the Grand Admiral had re-emerged on the bridge.

The bombard had begun. Each bullet brought a wave of pleasure. The Emperor's work was being done.

Grand Templar Arden Hyderia
Templar Knights
DTS Themis

Grand Templar Arden Terrius Hyderia sat on the bridge of the templar flagship, The Themis, as she oversaw her crew navigating the ship. They were heading towards the Nincara System, to make a rendezvous with the Grand Admiral SaDiablo, who had sent her a distress message not long before their departure. Apparently his troops had had an encounter with demons in the system. How many was not specified, but fear of a possible attack against the Empire was certain. It was Arden's duty as a servant of the Emperor to aid SaDiablo in his attack and stamp out any possibility of a threat against their people.

But personally, Arden was not thrilled at having to work with the Grand Admiral. She had not been Grand Templar very long (this was, in fact, her first campaign in her position), so she had only minimal interactions with SaDiablo. However, from what she could judge from their first meeting and records of his campaigns, she could see him as an easily volatile man who took no sanctity for life. He had no qualms with taking as many lives as needed to get the job done, even if there were other options. A man who operated by his own agenda and anyone who dared to stand in his way would be snuffed out, at least by her assumptions.

In short, a pig-headed man with big guns to play with. The only thing they had in common was their interest in protecting the Emperor. A very minimal similarity.

"Madam, we're arriving at the rendezvous point that the Pride of the Emperor directed us to." One of the crew members finally announced. "But it appears that they are currently engaged in a battle. What are your orders?"

Arden suspected that it was best to take things slowly with SaDiablo. Jumping in and joining the fight without any information as to what was going on was out of the question. Plus, it seemed that the Pride of the Emperor was, at the moment, holding it's own without need of assistance. "Open up communications with the Grand Admiral." Arden finally replied. "I want a full understanding of his situation before I offer my assistance. If we receive no reply, then we'll simply wait unless this battle takes a turn for the worse."

The GA glanced up as alert climes sounded. As several ships burst into the system, the fleet, already regrouping, light their shields. The Grand Admiral sighed as he saw the registration. "Be aware," he told his bridge as the communications chimed "the chief God-botherer has arrived."
The GA held the Templars in great respect but this one armed fool in control was just that. A one armed fool. "open communication."
He stood as the visual was brought up. He never met the Templar properly and I'm light was surprised to find her attractive. Irony. The good looking ones always married Yeven.
"my lady," the GA said politely with a bow, as was correct etiqiate, "As is imperial policy, I have informed you of Demonic presence. I am honoured you sought to come yourself. The Suhwayyh have but one last basion to take. Unless you would rather do it?"
The Grand Admiral shivered at the possibility of not finishing up himself.

"Grand Admiral has replied to our call, putting him on the main screen now."

Arden stood from her seat as SaDiablos' image appeared on the monitor. He had not changed much since the last time he spotted him in person, but up close he appeared a lot colder than she first thought. Still, he certainly had that physique that most women would find attractive. Deceptively attractive, she thought to herself. She set aside a mental note to pray for the poor woman who decided to marry him.

"My Lady," the GA said politely with a bow.

She groaned to herself. Thought it may be custom to bow before another official, Arden could tell that it was simply a false courtesy done as a formality and nothing more. Whether he was bred from nobility or simply picked it up overtime, Arden neither cared for nor considered following such mannerisms herself, unless in presence of the Emperor. She did not offer him one in return, simply crossing her arms as she uttered a simple "Sir" while listening to the rest of his message.

"As is imperial policy, I have informed you of Demonic presence. I am honoured you sought to come yourself. The Suhwayyh have but one last basion to take. Unless you would rather do it?"

To this she raised an eyebrow in curiosity. Letting her have the finish? That was rather surprising, she expected him to brush her off and finish off the battle. "That's rather kind of you, Admiral." She said with a plastered smile. Facing her closest crew member, she asked, "Are our weapons ready for battle?"

"They are online and ready at your order."

"Ah, well, it seems we're ready for battle." She turned her attention back at SaDiablo. Perhaps this was not the time to take the imitative. First interactions are crucial, and as much as her pride told her to take the chance, her head told her not to pull on the Admiral's strings just yet. She was on his field right now, she would step back a bit for now. "Of course, we're the ones intruding on your battle. Since you are in command, I will follow your orders."

The Grand Admimral rankled under the insult. All imperial citizens were to bow to the head of any section. The woman was as rude as she was attractive and he pittied her future spouse. He'd need cajhones.
His head turnt to the communications. "Have the Marines pull back. Tell that fool of a general he is relieved of command in deferrance to the Master Templar."
His head snapped back. A few strands of hair slid over his right eye as he looked back at the Master Templar. "This is a mostly finished battle," he reaffirmed. "one island. I'm updating data to you."
An image of an island roughly the size of the Isle of Man* appeared on the holographic projector where the Templar would see it. "See that hill? That's where this planets interplanetary government was based. I want the Dragon flying from it." he nodded briefly as someone off screen spoke. "The attacks all yours. Signal for attack granted. The Emperor Protects."
The comm cut and the Grand Admiral sighed softly. "Have the fleet move back. Two transports are to claim back their marines. Pick the two with heaviest losses."

"This is a mostly finished battle," he reaffirmed. "One island. I'm updating data to you." Just as he said that, a map appeared on the second moniter, displaying a small island with a rather populous city situated there. One particular elevated area was circled. "See that hill? That's where this planets interplanetary government was based. I want the Dragon flying from it."

"Wait a second--" Arden tried to interject, but was cut off as the screen went blank. She uttered a sigh before running her good hand through her hair. She was beginning to lose her patience with the Grand Admiral, and they had barely spoken to each other for five minutes. She breathed in through her nose and exhaled deeply to calm herself. Then, turning to her left she called out, "Bishop Errotis."

A man of his late twenties approached her, kneeling on one knee and bowing his head as he said, "Yes, my Lady?"

"Oh please, stand up." Errotis rose to his feet as she continued. "Make sure that the Clementia is placed on standby. We'll be taking the warriors from the Honos and the Themis down to settle the situation. Also, have a chocobo readied for me, I'll be leading the operation myself."

"May I speak out of line, Lady Hyderia?" Erros asked, after a moment. She nodded her head in permission, to which he continued, "Is it a good idea for you to go down? I could easily handle the troops, there's no reason to engage in battle yourself."

"Just as the Grand Admiral stated, this is almost finished. If I go down personally, the situation will be resolved all the more swiftly. And if it's not as Admiral SaDiablos stated, well..." A frown creased her face at the thought of misinformation sent her way. Would he stoop that low? Hopefully not, but there is the chance that anything could happen. One always had to be prepared for the worst. "Then it's all the more crucial that I remain at ready to handle any turn of events. Is that all?"

"Yes, my Lady, I'll give the orders. Yeven be with us."
