Personality:
Ethan is generally laid back and easygoing around the Espada and Arrancar, at times a little too much so. One could almost never guess from his behavior that he was the strongest arrancar in existence. However, he knows when to take work seriously. Often, when he gets started on a project, he'll go days without leaving his room which doubles as his lab.
Beneath his relatively easygoing exterior, he harbors a deep hatred for shinigami. He kills without hesitation if he sees one, unless it would benefit him to let his target live.
Despite his way of thinking he is not overly violent, believing that fighting is a means to an end, and that inferior beings are unworthy of even seeing his blade. Even fewer have seen his release, and lived to tell the tale.

Resurreccion Appearance:
His resurreccion combines attributes from Ethan's Adjuchas and Vasto Lorde stages. This in addition to the near-complete manifestation of his hollow forms make it exceptionally powerful. His whole body becomes encased in white bone armor, giving him taloned feet and clawed hands along with bone-cased torso and limbs.(His jacket is gone but he retains his hakama, hiding the armor on his legs) An extendable, prehensile tail forms from the back of his neck, in between two giant wings that extend from his shoulder blades. The wings have three clawed extensions each at the first main joint, usable as two additional hands. His hollow hole moves from his right arm to just under his right collarbone and increases in size. His handlike mask is gone, replaced with the right half of a vasto lorde mask which sits tilted atop his head, complete with horn.
His weapon changes form as well, into two shorter swords that he can use as either two independent blades, or joined together as a sword-staff or a bow. He uses the bow form of his weapon to enhance the speed and accuracy of his cero and gran rey cero, a move called Cero Fletcha.
Any non-life-threatening injuries inflicted on him while in sealed form heal upon release.

Resurreccion Attacks:
Cero Fletcha (zero arrow)
Ceros are shot in compressed arrow form from his zanpakutou's bow form, increasing accuracy and lethality. Works with gran rey cero as well.
Cero Doble (double zero)
A variant of Neliel tu Oderschvank's attack in which the opponent's cero-based attack is absorbed and redirected towards them with Ethan's own cero mixed in to add strength; opponent's cero must be absorbed through zanpakutou.
Fletcha de Invierno (winter's arrow)
Manipulating reiatsu supercools the air, forming an arrow entirely of supercooled ice crystals and torrents of cold air. Has more penetrating power than a cero fletcha, but shatters more easily. Upon exploding everything within a few yards of the arrow freezes solid. Usually used in conjunction with Flor de Hielo.
Flor de Hielo (razor-ice flower)
Five large petal-like slabs of ice form, and open up in the shape of a five-petaled flower. All five petals are under Ethan's telekinetic control. Each petal can attack the opponent or shield against attacks, but shatter upon dealing damage to the opponent or taking a hit. Usually used in conjunction with Fletcha de Invierno
Bio:
Not much is known or important about Ethan's past life. He and his parents shared a mutual hatred for each other, which led him to become pretty much a loner. He eventually found a very special someone who he could open up to, and ended up falling in love with her. Sarah Velsana was her name, and eventually she became his everything. The school bully was infatuated with her, and constantly harassed them. One afternoon during Ethan's senior year he died defending Sarah from the bully, who had with him a pocketknife. He succeed in killing the boy and saving Sarah, but not before getting an artery slashed open in his arm.
In the 11 years after his death he had evolved into a powerful vasto-lorde class menos, near the very top of the food chain in Hueco Mundo. Occasionally he would travel to the human world, to satisfy his bloodthirsty appetite for souls or to pay old enemies a well-deserved visit. On one such trip he discovered that Sarah, the girl who he lost everything for, was marrying one of the school bully's old friends. Saddened and greatly angered, he appeared in the middle of the church and ripped off his mask, nearly blinding everyone as he transformed into an arrancar.
As he attempted to hold Sarah's hand it turned to bone and ripped off her arm, attaching itself to his face. His subsequent, somewhat accidental actions killed her and the groom. Furious, he turned his new blade on everyone in the church, killing everyone there before returning to Hueco Mundo.
He continued to hunt and kill other hollows, and eventually found his way to a giant white palace. He was tested and found to be the most powerful arrancar in existance, and was given the rank of Primera Espada. He now resides in Las noches with his fellow Espada, engineering his next attack on his enemies and waiting for his cue to strike.

Accessories:
Wears her hair up in different styles sometimes using multiple hairpins. Also keeps several bracelets on her right arm.
Personality:
Khalee was a happy and content soul before her death. She prefers not to remember her pain as a hollow and menos, and thinks that having the hogyoku used on her was the best thing that ever happened after her death. Because she didn't harbor a grudge when she died, she is usually happy - sometimes to the point of being hyper. She and Ethan are almost inseparable.
Their relation is like that of siblings' - Khalee is always mischevious and enjoys pulling friendly pranks on Ethan. She shares a deeper, more carefree relationship with Ethan than most Espada and their Fracción.
Bio:
When she was living Khalee was one of Ethan Castellan's best friends. She secretly liked him, but wouldn't tell him because of the simple fact that he had a girlfriend that he was very much in love with.
After Ethan's death, needless to say she was very distraught and became very saddened. She went to the funeral along with the rest of her friends, and mourned her friend's passing.
After the funeral she couldn't concentrate, but made the mistake of trying to drive home in her degraded mental state. She had an accident on the way back, one which she didn't survive. After grazing a car that was going the opposite direction her car spun out of control and off the bridge they were on. She drowned in the river before she could get out of her car.
She was unable to accept the fact that her friend and secret love Ethan had died, and as a result became an earthbound soul, chained to the graveyard and watching over Ethan's grave. Over time she became a hollow, and lost all sense of self-awareness as she began to devour humans, and eventually other hollows after she found her way into Hueco Mundo.
After evolving into a weak hawk-like Adjuchas-class menos, she was captured by several Arrancar out on a mission to capture menos-class hollows for shinigamification. She was brought back to Las Noches, and had her mask removed when the hogyoku was used on her.
She immediately recognized Ethan when she saw him; being an Espada, he was present at the birth of almost every new Arrancar. The first thing she did as an arrancar was running over to him and tackling him to the ground in a bear hug.
Ethan took her on as his fracción, and they have been together ever since. Ethan was and is only mildly excited about their being together again; Khalee thought it was the second-best thing that had happened to her in her miserable afterlife.
When she's not messing with Ethan or the things in his lab she is most likely to be found wandering the hallways of Las Noches, humming to herself.

Upon release the most noticeable change is that Khalee's arms change into two giant feathered wings reminescent of ones on a bird of prey. However her wings feature a sharp curved claw on the tip, for use in combat along with her feet, which turn into sharp talons. Half of an eagle-shaped skull mask, complete with beak, appears on the right half of the top of her head. She gains segmented bone armor all over her body except her face, and a skirtlike coat of long tail feathers around her waist. The lower half of her legs are exposed, revealing armored legs and feet.
She is capable of flight with her wings, and is quite agile in combat when released, which somewhat makes up for her lack of physical strength. She can fold her wings along her sides like a bird when not in use. Also, like a real bird, she has no hands or opposable thumbs and must grab things with her feet, which have an opposable appendage for this purpose.
Skills:
Sonido - Her sonido is not very fast, but still adequate to maneuver in combat against slower opponents.
Hierro - Her hierro is weak compared to the Espadas' and can be easily cut by a shinigami captain's or strong shinigami lieutenant's blade, even when released.
Bala - She prefers cero over bala, but will use it if necessary. Her bala is pale blue.
Cero - Possibly her strongest attack is her cero. Cero color is standard red.

Appearance:
Kira has shoulder-length dark brown hair. She has long bangs in the front, which she parts down the middle and braids into two long braids which go around her head and join in the back. She wears a regular shinigami’s kimono and hakama, except that her kimono is sleeveless and backless. She can usually be seen wearing only the kimono and hakama, and only wears her captain’s haori during formal events like meetings. Her zanpakutou and sheath are on her right at her waist.
Personality:
Kira is a firm believer in law and order, justice, and the like, due to the circumstances surrounding her death. She sees it as her duty as Squad 8’s captain to make sure that everyone is treated fairly, and to punish those who break the rules accordingly.
Despite this, she is not a very harsh person. She often talks to her squad members as if they were friends, not subordinates, and sometimes brushes off special treatment she gets as a captain.
She only fights if she deems it necessary, and prefers using Kido over physical combat. Only when absolutely necessary will she draw her sword against an enemy. It takes even more effort to goad her into releasing her bankai, as she strongly dislikes it.
Bio:
Kira was a happy girl in high school, having good grades and a caring, considerate boyfriend named Ethan. However, during her senior year, Ethan died while defending her from the school bully, who was infatuated with her. They both had knives, and Ethan killed the bully, but not before getting vein in his arm slashed open. He died in her arms, his blood pouring out of his arm all over her.
She was initially very sad, but after a year or so, managed to move on. In college she met a nice man and fell in love again with him. After steadily dating for 3 years after college, he proposed to her. She gladly accepted, and eagerly anticipated the wedding day.
Little did she know that in those 11 years after Ethan’s death, he had been watching her, and had changed greatly. He had turned into a hollow after his death, and was now a powerful Vasto Lorde class menos, near the very top of the food chain in Hueco Mundo. She was also blissfully unaware of the fact that the man she was marrying used to be one of the school bully’s followers, and that naturally, that wouldn’t go over very well with Ethan.
On her wedding day, everything went marvelously, until Ethan showed up. When he attempted to hold her hand, he ended up ripping her left hand clean off her arm, and his subsequent, accidental actions killed her and the groom. Furious that his love was now dead, he killed everyone in the church, putting out large amounts of reiatsu that alerted the shinigami.
Shortly after Ethan went back to Hueco Mundo the shinigami arrived, and performed konso on Kira and the other, numerous dead souls wandering the area. Kira woke up in the west Rukongai district and lived there for over a year until a shinigami recognized her talents and potential due to her abnormally large spiritual pressure. She was enrolled in the shinigami academy, and eventually joined the 13 court guards as squad 8’s captain.

The blade transforms into three 18-foot long, braided leather whips. Each has a long, sharp steel tip at the end. The hilt is used to control the motion of each whip independently, and does not change
Shikai Abilities:
Control: in addition to controlling the whips with the hilt they’re attached to, the whips can be independently controlled via a form of telekinesis.
Counterattack: Whips straighten and can be used to block an enemy’s attack much like a sword. Upon blocking the attack it absorbs reiatsu from the attack and uses it in a counterattack. (can only hold the reiatsu in for a limited amount of time before expelling it.)
Equilibria: when fighting stronger opponents, latching onto them with one or more whips for three seconds induces temporary paralysis and redistributes reiatsu equally between Kira and the victim.
Bankai: Monotori Aeiranto (thieving merciless one)

Kachu Dipuri-shon (depletion vortex):
A tornado-like vortex is created by spinning the weapon rapidly. Should a victim get caught in the vortex, they will find themselves completely drained of reiatsu within a few minutes. Stronger opponents take longer to drain. The reiatsu is channeled into Kira's zanpakutou and is absorbed into her body, making her stronger.
Shubansen (endgame):
Execution of the often-fatal Shubansen attack requires precision and speed. The enemy needs to be hit three times within two minutes for the attack to work: first strike with a scythe-blade, second strike with the handle, third strike with the scythe-blade not used in the first blow. With each successive strike a different aura surrounds the opponent: yellow for first strike, orange for the second, and red for the third. Upon successful landing of all three strikes, the opponent is launched skyward.
Kira then throws her zanpakutou in the air, where it seperates into two smaller, independent scythes. The two blades fly around the opponent, attacking repeatedly from all angles while keeping them airborne - a technique Kira refers to as "juggling." From the ground Kira may use binding spells to restrain the opponent and make them easier to hit.
However strong the attack, it still requires physical contact. If Kira cannot hit an opponent or an extension of their body, she cannot use the attack.
(Note: She feels that her bankai goes against her values, and that its main ability is unfair towards her opponent. Furthermore, she thinks that her bankai dishonors the circumstances surrounding her death to an extent. She won’t use her bankai unless absolutely necessary.)
