How many of you guys hit the Pow?
I skate, but I also snowboard. I personally think that my skating has helped out my snowboarding alot. Once you get used to the sliding over the snow, the sports are pretty much identical. Anyways, I'm counting the days until we get snow out here in So Cal.

I've hit the snow once upon a time. Let's see, I was in El Paso, and my family went up to a ski place in New Mexico. Quite fun.

oooh I'm just waiting for more snow here.. we got a piddley little 2 centimeters last night, enough to tease me and make the roads shite.
Then comes the chore of finding out where the hills are around here because I just moved into a new area.
I also want to get a new deck, mine is a cheap a** POS.

Hehe, yeah. I wanna get a new set-up too. Iits getting ridiculous for me though. Every year I buy an all-new set-up, after only having rode my previous set-up for one season. I got like 3 set-ups right now, and it sucks because Burton really stepped their game up this season. I'll probably end up getting all new Burton set up, and selling off one of my old ones.
And then of course, Burton makes their shiet to be used with other Burton accessories... damn bastards.

All the local Resorts have started doing Man-made snow!!! For you Non-CALIans... thats a regular deal out here. Since we don't get much snow in the first place, they make alot of it as a base. It usually is quite icy, and not very fun. But hey, at this point I'll take whatever I can get. Time to stomp them 540's!!!!

I had the stupidest Idea this morning while walking to the bank... all the parking lots have these 10-20 foot high piles of snow that they cleared out, so I'm going to build a kicker at the bottom of one and have at 'er xd probably have the cops come and tell me i can't because it's private property though sad stupid pigs. domokun

I wish i could go snowboardin more often because i don' got tha money to go...and when i do go it's cus my sisters are in town and they pay fo me/lend me gear....i feel like such a moocher...

PaypaSouljah I wish i could go snowboardin more often because i don' got tha money to go...and when i do go it's cus my sisters are in town and they pay fo me/lend me gear....i feel like such a moocher... nothin wrong with that tho, it's a family thing. and if you can't go to the hill.. make due with the city if you have your own deck twisted the urban landscape is a non stop playground.

We built a kicker on the side of this random dude's house which was buried in snow. We were busting airs over the roof, and jibbing the wood shingles... until the cops showed up. sweatdrop Good times though.

So I'm curious, does anyone have an opinion on those snow skates or what ever they are/were called, basically a skate deck with a snow blade tossed on the bottom. I've been tempted to buy one lately, and am going to see where i stand post christmas.
