idea How about we make different contest, like a fanfiction contest or a banner contest where you can win gold or cool items!

Here are a couple of suggestions I just thought up...
1. Once thing I noticed about a lot of guilds is that they have a lot of members but few of them rarely ever post anything if at all. So, I think you should put up a standard such as....a member has to have a center amount of posts per month or per week or something. Otherwise they could get kicked out of the guild. That may encourage some members to actually post something and not just join a guild for the heck of it. And it might get this guild moving a lot faster.
2. Another thing is that we all have lives to live and things to do, so every once in awhile people won't probably show up to gaia for like a long while or so. So, it might be best if someone could create a sticky for Absenses where people could post and let the guild know that they will be gone for awhile so they don't risk being kicked from the guild if the first suggestion goes through.
3. Maybe this shouldn't be much of concern now or at all, but most likely when the guild is full of people it might get out of hand where people just start making new topics willy nilly til the point there are like 50 or so topics and only like 10 are actually popular. Maybe there should be a rule where no one can make a new topic without the permission of a crew member or captain first. That is with the exception of certain things.
4. About the fanfiction contest....that still sound like a great idea to me, but I think a time frame should be thought of ahead of time. There needs to be time for members to say that they want to join in, time for them to write or decide upon a fanfic to enter, time for members to read them and vote, time for moderators and such to overview the whole thing, and a date for when the winner will be announced. There needs to be a limit on how many people can enter also.
Uhm...I think that's all I had on my mind. I hope that this helps you out a lot. ^ ^

idea 1. I totally agree with your active members. I have noticed we have 20 members, but only 10 of them are extremely active and talk on the forums and such. I have been thinking of ditching people if they are not active or post at least 5 times a week or something. I'll talk to Zila... ninja

I'm so happy that I actually helped you out in this. And sorry if my third idea confused you...maybe I should rephrase it or make it better understandable.
Its like this...there are some guilds I've been to that have been alive for a year or more where there are a lot of members that are active or at least have been for awhile. And one thing I've noticed is that practically all of these guilds have threads/topics that go on for like 5 or more pages. And yet, looking at the topics halfway down the first page you start to see that most of the haven't been active for like 2 or more months and so you have a guild full of topics that are basically dead. And its just too much that should be there at all. And so...I'm not too sure of this, but it causes the crew and such time to have to look at these threads and delete them and such. I just think it would be easier if you get to choose what topics you want to go up so that you know which is a more practical idea or if someone else for some reason wants to come up with a topic that is similar to some other topic that is in another thread then you can tell them no because its kind of useless to have more than one threads about the same topic. I think this is what causes some topics to get old and forgotten. And when people visit the guild and look at it then they might not think that the guild is dead if they see too many threads that have been dead for awhile...does this make any more sense?

That is another concern we have. We need more active members to keep this guild going. But how do we get new members? We need to attract them.........

That is a good question. The only known way to me registering the guild and having banners in members siggy. But we can't force that on all members if they rather use their siggy for something else...
How about looking for random Gundam Seed threads and someone spreading the word through those?
