behold the extent of my powers! when i became a nobody i thought of unleashing my full ancient self and destroy what was left of me. somehow i lived and got to see this pocket of space i created.

We are now standing on a plane of space untainted bby corruption or anything else. it's only hear i can realize my true strength.

technically it's not a room... how should i explain this now...
Ok "The world the world that never was" is actually a Nobody. the entire planet itself lost it's heart but still had a strong will thus this was left of it. the abyssal edge is the heartless of the world that was restored, but it exist on a plane separate from our own but is still connected none the less. what you see is just the heart of the world minus the world itself. It's kind how it was with Sora and Roxas. Though Sora became a heartless he still became himself again while Roxas still existed.
