So as you may or may not know I have ideas for a Cyber World RP that will be like a prequel to the scifi rp and an alternate history for the Post Apocalypse RP. The plot idea is this: it is 2059, Mankind is much more advanced than we are now. Artificial life and intelligence has spread to all parts of the world. They are built to serve, whether that be for cheap labor, pleasure, entertainment, or mail-order relationship partners (no marriage is recognized between humans and machines). They have varying degrees of intelligence. Some are dumbed down, while others are free thinkers. Some have skin while others are metallic (they look like machines from I Robot). Artificial animals exist as well as advanced holograms (similar to Cortana in Halo, once again they have varying degrees of intelligence). Cities resemble Coruscant in Star Wars, except perhaps not quite as big. Flying cars exist (they also exist in the SciFi RP) and they will operate by something that is in/below the cities that makes them fly (electromagnetism perhaps?). Upper class people only use flying cars so there are still highways in cities. There are colonies in space on the Moon and Mars. The Moon is a sort of equivalent to what Hawaii is for us... like a special expensive place to live or go visit. Mars is mostly a mining colony of the asteroid belt near it. Both colonies live in giant domes and underground. There is also a new-ish space station in orbit that sort of looks like Halo in that it is a giant ring, but it is all enclosed. People live inside this giant tubular ring on the wall that faces outward into space. Once again there is an artificial environment inside the ring. Space craft have no artificial gravity and are confined to just the Earth system because of no Hyperdrives. Government wise different nations still exist but really they are all under the control of the UN and the only reason they are still "separate" is cause of the slow transition to a world government.

Basically it will start out that machines are rebelling here and there. Sometimes in acts of violence, sometimes in refusal to serve. They are always dealt with harshly and almost always dismantled or destroyed on spot if captured. Eventually this rebellion will heat up into global android terrorism and small scale conflicts around the globe.

The format will be a list of major cities that people can visit, I have some, but I would like more ideas. Preferably not too many American cities, I think we have enough of those. (Although we may need more, so please suggest them if you really want one) also, what do you think about just having major cities? or should their be regions where you can have less... civilization?

yeah... I agree about the not too many wilderness regions... maybe i will have a few, and then add more as we need them, cause there will be battles and stuff on fairly large scales eventually

Good idea. I can see them having underwater cities for deep sea mining, which would have a lot of machines. And some pleasure cities would also make sense... like in the great barrier reef. And either the machines would be shielded from EMPs (perhaps just some) or because EMPs were agreed to be too dangerous in the Cold War there are none, other than nukes.

Well taking people from the In the end is a good idea. I would not be able to use Vaga but that's cause a thing like him wouldn't fit. He a purely post Apocalypse type of person yea. lol.
