Still within the library, a young blue & purple haired girl entered the library, who seemed very cautious not to talk to people, and only came for some books. A black-haired guy also came into the library, who was looking for someone to show him around the school. Instead, he chose to read a map on his own, but found it difficult and decided to get some leisure reading done.

Meanwhile, Matt was found near an ice cream shop, and this tempted him to buy some for himself, while a rebel girl named Rebecca appeared in front of the school, looking for some food and hoping to steal some in here. She managed to sneak into the cafeteria and took quite a lot onto her tray to enjoy her own lunch meal.

At the hospital, Doctor Kikyo was treating a few patients while sending a few jokes to some of them. When the hard-working day ended, she realised she was tired and hungry, and when a nurse told her about a visitor wanting to see her, she chose to ignore him. What she didn't know was that it was Orion coming over for a visit, which he rarely did, considering the amount of workload he also had to do in a secret location. Not happy being ignored, he confronted Kikyo with a surprise and it scared her completely, almost threatening him with death. The two exchanged kisses and conversation about their day, like every couple would.

During the conversation, Kikyo mentioned her worried with Amaya, and Orion mistook her words that their daughter was sick. She explained that Amaya hasn't been able to make friends and hoped sending her to their old school would change her ways. Orion relieved himself about it, and told Kikyo he sent a friend to watch out for her in case of trouble, even though he doubts the guy's abilities. Kikyo was curious about this 'protector' and asked who he was, but Orion didn't know too well about him, except that he was named Kitase who once worked with the Desert Alchemist he met a long time ago.

Still at the library, Silvia picked up another book, but looked up when she noticed the purple and blue haired girl looking at one of the bookshelves. Named Amaya, she picked a book and sat down on a chair to read, but began to notice Silvia glancing back at her. She thought to herself if she should approach the girl like what her parents wanted or ignore her. Silvia waved hello at Amaya with a smile, and this made Amaya wonder if they were the same.

Tired from his work, Satori snuck out of the library for a smoke in the old oak tree alone.
