There is actually a BioShock movie in the works, its director is going to be Gore Verbinski, who directed "The Ring" and "The Pirates Of The Carribean" series. Also John Logan is one of the two writers, he wrote for the movies "Sweeney Todd", "The Aviator", " Sinbad: Legend Of The Seven Seas", and "Star Trek: Nemesis". The second writer for the BioShock movie is Ken Levine, who created the first BioShock. The movie should be out around 2010. resources: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1230526/

crying i just finished reading game informer and it said the bioshock movie is on hold because of low budget crying

to tell ya the truth even though a Bioshock movie would be awesome, i know im going to b***h when i hear all the stupid lil beaches being like "OMG, im like bioshock #1 fan" because they saw the movie....im just saying....over ads happen..and it sucks when they do....examples: Twillight (vampires have never been so lame...no offense), Watchmen(a mainly unknown comic is now known by everyone), The Dark Knight (the joker is now everybody's fave villan)
besides im kinda blah about how lately every director is making movies about old comics, videogames, books, anime, cartoons, etc. just for money and nt really for the fans, if it was for the fans they wouldn't over advertise it

Cowboy Bebop
Twillight
Transformers
GI Joe
so on, so on. u get my point. cause there will b many more coming.
How ever there is a big part of me that just can't wait for the movie to be made.
