Guardian Chiraki is the only way to get into the village without a thousand yard drop or facing a moor/swamp filled with alligators and morphed sharks and other equally dangerous sharks. The Guardian are two impressive trees with thier branches interlocked.

When you walked out you are met with a a stair case that goes up all thousand yards. Without a guide you are bound to fall from sheer exhastion. At the top of the cliff the stairs entrance is covered by bushes hiding them from unwanted visitors.

On either of the side there are green plants and huge, tall, trees making a crafty illusian causing people to become confused by the lack of other color. VISITORS REALLY DO NEED A GUIDE INTO THIS VILLAGE!!!

Usually Visitors are approached by guards. No matter how many time's you've visited it's extremly hard to approach Guardian Chiraki without a guide.

There are many legends about this gate.

A sample of the green confusion:

Staring at the tree with a dumbfounded expression at the size of it. On his back a large quiver and bow was mounted while yet more weapons seemed to be on a cart or carriage like marvel each with multiple sizes. His expression then grew dull and angered as he soon after bellowed into the sky. "I'm Bored!" Birds scattered at Arroyo's mighty shout then without hesitation Arroyo slammed his buns on the ground, tiredly waiting to see if anyone would really respond as if anyone would.

An extremely long shafted arrow silently whisked a literal fraction of a centimeter over Arroyos head before embedding itself in the ground and turning into ash. Directionality indicated that the arrow had actually come through the trees.
And of course it had. The cloaked figure had set down on the stairs with his lamp making the only noise from his body as it swung from the extremely long pole.
He had heard the crass man and reacted on impulse, finding the single necessary gap at the right moment to make the shot, but it hadn't been perfect, the hunk of meat had tilted forward at the last second so that the only shot that could have been taken was ruined. Disappointing. He should have filled the air with projectiles after the first failed shot but then he would have caused an excess of destruction... and Keyn’ai Tyuil had been good to him in the past so he wanted to save him some grief.

Glancing up at the arrow that had missed him by a hair Arroyo analyzed his surroundings eying the shadow which he assumed had fired it. He stood up slowly and spoke in his deep voice with insulting properties to it. "Well well beautiful you seem quite stealthy but your aim could use a bit o work." Arroyo scratched the back of his head and kicked the dirt. "But who am to I talk! I got the aim of blind elf firing a bent arrow." He dismounted the large bow constructed from bone and readied it. "But if its a challenge your throwin my way I'd be happy to oblige."

The shadowy figure rose up from his seat and walked silently down the steps and through the greenery. Muscle bound idiot... but an excellent bow with beautiful and still practical construction. Wonderful.
He finally looked up, his eyes burning in the hood of his cloak. The unlit lantern swung from the long wooden shaft. Closer examination showed that the lantern was haning from a bow, and extremely long asymetrical one.

Moving close then taking all the mans features into account he spoke "Your thinking I'm stupid hm? Well I spose your right I guess I'm not the brightest man in this here world but no one is truly perfect. Am I right? Arroyo moved away getting some distance each clunky step louder than the last. "Now then taking into account you came down here to meet me that must mean you are up for bit of a tussle. Pheh...well my friend lets see, you take first shot I most likely can't dodge it but how much juice you got behind that twig o yours." Arroyo armed himself to see if the man would do anything.

It was hard to tell if the idiot was speaking of power or something else. He was regretting more and more missing with the first shot. Next time he would just burn the trees to cinders like he used to do.
The hood fell back, leaving his face in full view in the light. Red eyes analyzed the large man over a foot taller than he was. He looked tired, but it looked natural on him, like his body was wearing down from years without sleep. The eyes though, they burned.
Twig? Twig? What an insult. Removing the small ball lantern from the end of the bow he set it down next to him and set the bow parallel to his body. It was taller than he was, closing in on six feet. Black lacquered wood bound in leather with an elegant curve. The asymmetrical bow was elegant, beautiful, ancient. Twig.... Did the man know the elegance and precision that was one of his crude weapons perfected predecessors. The yumi a twig? He should be struck dead now. It was the itch on the burn of his left hand.

Arroyo knew he was getting on the mans nerves as he continued his onslaught of words "Well don't you look tired perhaps ya need some more beauty rest. Takin off your hood don't make you look any more prettier. That your first move then? Showin me your face? Oh me oh my I'm so terrified. Ive seen dragon kin scarier than you hun. ; But I digress that twig o yours does have that feelin comin from it that special feelin..but still ain't nothin I think is worth using but hey thats me. It may be purtty but is it purrty tough ta back it up." He laughed heartily "Now you gonna stand and age or do something worth while."He continued mocking the man with hand gestures and taunts.

Air to the wind. But fire fed upon the air.
He could see the target in the back of his flapping mouth. Shot through the back of his mouth his brain stem severed. It would be efficent, almost no mess, no evidence. But then Keyn’ai would know. That b*****d did know the M.O. of the cloaked individual. He could kill the large man but Keyn'ai would know.
Still, he couldn't be unpunished.
The yumi was raised from the ground and pointed it towards the man. No killing... don't kill him. No throat and no eyes.

Arroyo's eyes gleamed with victory."So the little man raises his arms at the the mighty giant only to show no intent to kill. Now wheres the fun in that? I know ya wanna kill me I mean who wouldn't. But you won't will you? Because his eyes are everywhere are they not? Always watching you and me both the hates bubbling ain't it."Arroyo pulled his bows string back with a happy smile across his face. "So little man your move."

There was no arrow in his bow. The mans arrow though... big. More of a javelin. The man kept talking, more more more. Did he ever shut up? Shifting his feet he drew the empty bowstring back. Aim. Where to chose to scare him. So many little choices. Ear. Hand. Cheek. Arrow. Bowstring. If only he could hit one of the softer spots.

Arroyo let go of the empty string. "Swoosh just like that. Not hard is it? I admit the true hard part is actually aiming with the arrow and then releasing the string." Arroyo armed his bow with one of his 20 large arrows and then pulled the string taut, pulling it back and firing it at a small tree. The small tree toppled from the size of the arrow but the tree was merely a sapling it would not be missed and wasn't that impressive of a show. "Now I spose I don't need me to give you a lesson. Your not a wee babe are ye?" He moved the bow down slightly away from his body. "So then I'll be shuttin up now bet your singing that hallelujah in your head aren't yah now?" Arroyo stood eyes of an eagle and the stance of large mountain as he just waited there for something to happen. His bow set for either attacking or defending.

Swoosh. Good sound. It was a powerful bow, but inadequate. Splinters of a tree. It was amazing that the muscled archer could actually hit anything with a degree of accuracy.
The man did know that he had power.... but the man needed to know how to heel.
No swoosh. The release of the empty bow made almost no sound. Perhaps if it made any it was akin to what three leaves falling together in a breeze would make. Though something else made a sound in the air, a gentle breeze edged in killing intent. Don't Kill.
A trail of blood trickled down the giants cheek from a cut that had appeared just right of his eye. It was a nasty cut, extremely deep, but the giants height compared to the cloaked mans had prevented the giant from losing his ear. Off in the distance something inaudible had struck a small bird, causing it to fall dead to the forested floor. I had been harder to control than he thought. The giant was lucky to still be standing.
The yumi was drawn again before the cut was even made, still empty, ready for retaliation. He would show the man what he had done if it meant respect, but he really would prefer not to. The last person to see his skill and live was Keyn'ai... That man himself was a nuisance, but probably the only thing that could be called a friend to the cloaked man. The giant was not stupid, in terms of skill at least... but he was an idiot. Loud people usually were idiots. Idiots finding themselves wounded were unpredictable, but usually louder if they were bleeding. This man was skilled enough to take on invading armies without advanced technique, but the cloaked man would never say it even if he could have.
Don't kill him. the little voice in his mind said to his fighting spirit.

Arroyo still in his mountain like stance noticed the blood seeping slowly. His left eye watched it as it slowly dripped down his cheek. He then extended his tongue to licking the blood off. His eyes then returned to its eagle like form staring down the man, only now Arroyo wore a devious smirk of excitement. "You holding back? An attack that fast could have killed me instantly. How sweet your showing mercy to little ol me. Im so flattered!" Arroyo said with a energized shout. He then reached down upon the ground pulling a rope that had apparently blended in with the dirt itself. The cart that carried weapons followed the energy of the tug and speed toward Arroyo gracefully. Mounting his bow upon his back Arroyo pulled out an incredibly crafted crossbow from the cart, the size of which would be impossible for any man to lift without some difficulty let alone fire it. The weapon itself gleamed with gold leaf trim and shone with what seemed like a gilded looking wood. The front of the crossbow finely crafted with the carved head of a phoenix the arc in the shape of the birds marvelous wings. "This is one of my most impressive creations. I call it a faux ballista, impressive no?" He spoke calmly as he armed his creation with an arrow whose point protruded out of the phoenix carvings mouth. Arroyo readied the large crossbow at the mans feet rather than body. "So hows life? Haven't said much since you got here and I've been blabbing for what seems like hours. Hell don't even know your name beautiful." Even excited and in battle Arroyo still seemed to give off that friendly aura.

The cloaked man opened his mouth as if wishing to say something witty and clever though the only thing that came from his mouth was air. Closing his mouth and looking a little upset about something he glared in anger, the flames of his eyes sharpening.
Idiot would not shut up. Unfortunately all avenues available to him to make a normal person shut all required some form of death. It was heartening to know that he was capable of something the giant wasn't, and possibly the other way around, he was glad he was incapable of wielding the giant crossbow. Good for an army, bad for an individual.
The man was wrong though. It wasn't speed, he just hadn't been allowed to see the attack before it was released. The dead bird in the distance hadn't even seen it before it had struck it dead. No reason to let him see it if he didn't have to.
But the yumi was ready to bite flesh and kill, and the blood. He did want to shoot the idiot down... that was clear. But he was waiting for the idiot to say something that meant he wouldn't be missed. Pity he couldn't ask him.
