We all (mostly) have different reasons for liking this band. What's yours? Tell why you like them and how you were introduced to them. My mom had me listen to Revolutions Per Minute and Siren Song of the Counter Culture all the time, so I love it because my mom loves it, and it rubbed off on me.

your mom sounds cool. whenever i have my mom listen to music i like. (Rise Against, Linkin Park, etc.) She says she dosnt like head banging music. i figure if my head isnt moving then its not good music XD. she does like hero of war tho.

i think i like almost everything about Rise Against! and it's funny cause my mom started me with Linkin Park which led me down the road of hard rock and punk, and just in the past few months have I got my mom to start liking Rise

onixdragon your mom sounds cool. whenever i have my mom listen to music i like. (Rise Against, Linkin Park, etc.) She says she dosnt like head banging music. i figure if my head isnt moving then its not good music XD. she does like hero of war tho. Yeah, but Rise Against isn't the only band she got me started on. I have been listening to rock/punk since I was a baby. When my mom was pregnant with me she had me "listen" to subhumans, rancid, bad religion, social d, and so on. My first tape was Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory album. I've had that since I was five. My mom is awesome. Too bad I don't see her anymore...

(The Beatles. mostly Motown(temptations, Jackson 5, etc.) and my sense of music stems from that so i usually will listen to anything that's playing.

i like rise against mostly for their political/social stands that they reflect thru liberating aggressive music i just love, like their support for animal rights heart and left wing politics...
one of the first political bands i got my hands on, so they're a great influence to me
