Now, some of you are wondering "Why would anyone want to read your essays???"
well reason is, is that every essay I have done has made at th eleast a 95 and never lower. many of my teachers and professors find reading my essays very very entertaining, and so here I will post some of my essays...maybe to help inspire you for any upcoming essays you have at school or maybe just so you can see my work.

the first one I am posting is, by far, the best (that I have still available).
The topic was to write, from the prespective of a man(woman) from back in the 1800s about how you, IN THE 1800s, found the Industrial revolution. was it helpful? or was it a menace?

and so here it is:

The Revolution of Slavery

At about the same time as the dawning of our minds, the time they opened to new thoughts such as freedom and the realization of the existence of the oppressive government. The time where we revolted against the iron-fisted rulers of our countries, we almost immediately found ourselves in a new revolution. This revolution we are in didn’t rapidly burst into extremist parties filled with the thoughts of cleansing the land by cleansing supposed “loyalists” of their heads. This revolution we are in is a revolution that does the opposite of cleansing. And in this revolution, our leaders of our countries have been taken down again, but not by a guillotine, not by a blade, or a knife hidden behind ones back. No, the government has been overthrown by Big-Business.
In the mid-to-late eighteenth century, a most profound, yet so useful, invention was born. The power of blackened-earth was burned and created energy, and this energy was more than any farmer could put out within a days work.
This invention could have fueled a happier world, but people have become greedy with their “free” minds. This “steam engine”, innocent at first, was used like a slave to solve every energy problem there was in our lives, especially the need of more energy and greater speeds to move from one point to another.
The steam engine was placed into a heavy carriage that they called a train. When I first head of this “train” I was captivated by it. It wasn’t a menace to our lives until it found that it couldn’t go on bare earth. Instead, it required iron tracks. These tracks were slammed into the earth by a mighty hammer that the old Greeks might have thought it was a gods weapon.
Still, the worse if the train hadn’t come yet. Its tracks ran throughout our countries soil, but it was not satisfied with how much of our country that is had eaten, and so the people fed it. Day by day, hour after hour, hammer blow after hammer blow, hundreds of people who’s free minds had been taken away from the train because they were so infatuated by it, and so hey gave into the trains demands and in turn had become the slaves. The slaves of the train fed it, and they fed it with a silver spoon. The expanse of the tracks grew and grew to the point that it ate farming communities whole and in turn, those villages that survived, exploded into large cities with low set, grey skies and small brown rivers. Our cities became the Black Plague itself, and were not kind to the people.
These cities churned out thick black clouds that came from large cylindrical towers. These new buildings called “factories” spewed and fed our crystal blue waters into a venomous serpent who had become angered. Where was our government to put forth the money to save us? They too had been eaten by this revolution, but by who?
Owners of the Black-Cloud blowing, water poisoning buildings became extremely profitable. The owners had become slaves to their own money, and this money went to helping the government, so where did our government go? They didn’t go anywhere but under a collar and a lash from these factory owners. Our government gave it’s power to the slaves of money. Was this not the reason we revolted during our years of a free mind, to rid ourselves of these greedy leaders? Why have we already lost our free minds?
Our government wants these factory owners to grow. Our government lights fires and dances around it singing as If it was a prayer to these factory “gods”. And so the factories grow, just as our government prays for. The owner wants more money to help this happen, and so they hire those who work cheapest.
The factory workers are slaves to the factory owner and are forced to stay as workers because, if they leave they can’t support themselves. But who is the biggest slaves to the factory owners? Women and children are.
Women, to the factory owners, are good for only two things; making them money, and giving them pleasure. They make these women work because the family needs money, but the factory owners are not generous, and so the money is small. Though the women are grateful for that money, the factory owner find them greedy and begins to work them more for less. In this revolution, our women have only become good for supporting families, and nothing else. But everyone in the family tries to support each other, even the children and factory owners enslave them too.
And so, we see that this revolution of technology and business has enslaved all of us and it is all because of this steam engine that was in turn, put the train into power where it captivated, then enslaved men to help it feed, so that then the small villages were destroyed so that Black-Clouded cities could grow. Slaves, we thought we people of war and people from Africa, but this revolution has proved that everyone and everything is a slave, all except the Money, where it carries a lash made of barbed wire and heated in one of these steam engines.

First essay in my Composition I class!

Topic:
Create a story essay using all five senses.

Patients Doesn't Count When it's this Good

At last at the church, hungry, starved for countless hours. It was like torture standing in that line, watching the billows of steam and smoke rise up into the air, wrapping itself around me and rose into my nostrils and then I smelled that delicious food I longed for. Oh, how I longed for that food more and more. I could see where the foam plates were being picked up and then filled with the juicy meat we were having tonight before service.
I felt something cool dripping out of my mouth, snapping me out of my trance. I closed my mouth and used a hand to wipe away the moist drool that came out of my moth as I gazed at the food.
I was getting closer to it, the silverware’s metallic surface made the light from the ceiling glisten off it and showed the reflection of what I most longed; eating that delicious food.
It was taunting me, I wanted to scream “quit that!” but that would be embarrassing with all these people watching.
I started bouncing up and down, getting anxious for my food. My stomach began to get angry at my rambunctious movement, and so it growled for me to stop. My stomach, cranky due to the lack of sustenance made it moan at me to do something about its current state.
There are the napkins! Their soft yet rough surface showed me that I was going to need a few for tonight’s food, as if giving me a warning that there will be messes tonight.
Another step forward, close enough now to grab the foam plates, the gleaming silverware, and those soft yet rough napkins. I was slowly making my way through each stop for food, grabbing the ladle or the tongs to help me get my food. I could see the steam rise out of the pots as I lifted each helping out and onto my plate.
Finally I had my food! I sat down at the hard, cold, plastic table. I could feel my warm plate heat the table top. I picked up my knife in my right hand, my fork in my left; both had been warmed from being underneath my plate. These two instruments felt so smooth in my hand and felt like my trophies for a long wait, but the best reward had yet to have come.
Ignoring the friends around me chatting, I greedily stabbed my fork into my meat and vigorously stroked the knife back-and-forth until I had cut off a piece that I could eat. I jabbed the piece with my fork and shoved it into my mouth. That delicious food, at last in my mouth where the drool helped begin digesting it to satisfy my ever so much more greedy stomach.
Oh that meat was so good; at last, my dream had been fulfilled. This food was such a commodity!

Second essay my class had to write in Composition I

Topic:
Write a "How To" essay with atleast 3 steps.

The Three Steps to Hating a Macintosh Computer

There are so many computers in this world today, but some people gave been tricked into getting the worst of the available selection of computers, and that is a Macintosh or now known as a iMac. These computers should be hated for many reasons; They are over priced incapable, and a disgrace to the PCs. But you say that you can’t get over how amazing iMacs are, and have become afraid of PCs because of their possible attacks from viruses. We call this PC-aphobia, the fear of PCs. So here is how to hate a Macintosh.
First, take a look at their price. The price is much higher than a PC of similar, if not the same, capabilities. These iMacs usually range from $1000 to $6000. Now don’t get coaxed into buying a iMac by all their fancy words used in their advertisements and their sleek design they use for their computers. These computers will just eat your memory away.
So let us look at a PC. It comes with a recent version of some sort of Operating System and comes with some great free-ware programs. Let us not forget their ability to play games, run software, and listen to music all the more capable than an iMac.
Now look at a iMac, where we see their sleek finish case in a thin bundle with an even sleeker looking operating system. But the creators took their time and money on the look rather than the performance. This sleek operating system eats up the RAM, which is the part of the computer that allows it to run smooth and fast, thus causing all software, music, and fames to be bogged down, work slower, and have poor quality sound.
So you have seen some of the general aspects of an iMac, bringing you closer to hating those computers; but you haven’t completely learned yet, so next we look at the actual internal workings of the computer, taking a first look at the tower. The tower is the part of the PC that contains all the internal working components, such as the cooling fan and the hard drive. The problem with a iMac is that there is no such thing as the tower for them. They cram all of the parts and the components into a single piece, which is, of course, the screen.
Some may wonder what is so bad about no tower? Well the reason is that they don’t let you open the screen. They seal it with no screws. Not only is it extremely irritating to mess with when repairs are needed, it also makes upgrades impossible. Apple, the greedy people they are, make the consumer have to constantly buy new models of computers because the models before are out of date and can’t be upgraded, making you feel like a toothless hill-billy. So that operating system that you use on your iMac that eats your RAM? Well don’t plan on adding more RAM to speed it up, because you can’t and you will just have to go out and buy a new model.
Well you have almost learned how to hate an iMac, but the last step is the hardest and can only be solved by your own decision of admitting and conquering you PC-aphobia.
There are no specific steps for this third step of hating a iMac, but there are general suggestions to help you rid of your PC-aphobia, the first being is to find a good operating system, such as Vista.

**sadly, the saved copy I have of this essay is has not been able to recover the last 2 pages. I will go dig out my rough draft and type the rest...

The Third Essay in my Composition I class. This is my most recent essay turned in in that class.

Topic:
Write a comparison and Contrast essay.

The Outdated Versus Todays: Vinyl Records Against Compact Discs

Today, most everyone listens to a compact disc, or, rather, is known as a CD. But some still prefer records. So why do some people still listen to records when CDs are available? What makes a vinyl record disc still used today when compact discs provide more uses, sound, and convenience? Why do those who listen to CDs often times don’t listen to records? Might it be their preference of digital “convenience”? Might records be preferred still because of their tone? Maybe a look at the differences and similarities will allow us to see why.
Let us first try to answer the question of “Why do some people still prefer records today?” by looking at their tone. People say that the record provides a much warmer sound then a CD provides a more home-like, “living” sound that can make you feel the music better. Some even like hearing the crackles that come from dust being on the record. This sound does sound good; I always get a much more warm feeling from records and it just gives me personal joy. Another great aspect about listening to records is that there is a lot of music that exists that was never converted to a digital format. Even still, those bands that were converted to a CD seem to loose a lot when the conversion happens. Might it just be those dust spots on a record that create the crack and provide that feeling the record gives? Or is it that the music can’t stand being cramped into kilobytes and megabytes? Either way, the CDs that contain music tat came from a record just can’t provide as well as listening to the music how it was intended.
CDs, though, provide things record can’t, so it is time to take a look at the question, “why do those who listen to CDs often times don’t listen to records?” by first addressing a CD’s convenience that has been mentioned several times. A CDs convenience is extensive; from the fact it only has one side and can be reproduced easier, to the fact it can be copied by anyone who has a computer with a CD drive. People can just get a CD, pop it into their computer, let the computer copy it, and there you it! The whole CD is on the computer where you can burn another copy of the CD as many times as you want for an incredibly cheap price. Records require you to buy a special type of turn table that transfers the records data to the computer. This turn table is really expensive and needed if you ever want your records on your computer, and even still the record looses a lot when it is transferred, while CDs do not loose any sound quality when transferred.
Along with this ease of getting music on your computer, technology today offers ways of taking that music off your computer and into a small handheld object that plays those songs, making your music convenient, having every song you want to listen to at any place. But both records and CDs have similarities that make some still listen to both.
“Why do some people still listen to records when CDs are available?”
This is a good question. While in todays times, most just listen to CDs, there are those who listen to both. Everyone has a reason why, but often times its because the record offers what they need; music. It doesn’t matter to most when it comes to the sound they hear from whatever it may be that they are listening to, the majority just wants to hear music. Some like getting records over the CD version because they think it is cool or just sounds better for the record, but it doesn’t matter to them. Almost every band that exists today releases both a vinyl record and a CD.
So now the questions have been closed. We can see that records will always have something a CD cannot offer, and that is its wholesome sound and its retro style. But CDs will always offer something records cannpt, and that is their convenience. And both offer this worlds need; music. So records will probably exist for another long time and so will CDs. 8-tracks and Cassettes are a completely different story!
