Age: Twenty-Six.

Height: Five-foot-Eight

Power Source: Technological [Herbology and General Surgery] and Mystical [Magic].

History: Dante "The Last Option" Domenico earned his name by being the last conceivable option for the superhumans. Now, this doesn't mean he is the only doctor that will serve such beings, far from it; it means that he doesn't rank very highly on the list for superhumans. He has been known to employ highly experimental drugs of his own design and dangerously lethal narcotics, and subtle magical manipulations, while preforming certain operations, and even during routine check-ups, plus he doesn't have the soft side that most doctors possess. He will openly insult most patients after reading their medical reports, and joke about their level of health, and he'll relish the chance to break horrible news to someone, like telling them that little lump is cancer. He has seen his fair share of human stupidity and lack of respect, and he has distanced himself from the entire race, even going so far as to help the Supers in spite of it. His apathy, his indifference, and overall hatred for humanity, all of it stems from one life-altering incident in a remote jungle on none of Graces' large islands.

Dante was a part of a small, government-funded research group whose mission was to find new species of plants that could help cure new diseases, help stave-off the Super-Human problem, and raise the general level of health of Graces' inhabitants. In addition to finding new and awe-inspiring plants, the team also found a strange breed of dog-sized lizard that had the tendency to swarm and consume flesh, and it appeared that mammal flesh was high on its' menu. Unfortunately, Dante and the research team were mammals, and therefore on the menu. For days he ran and hid, using everything he had learned from a survival-nut friend of his and his own knowledge of herbology and of the native plants, his own medical supply, and wit to survive for as long as he did. It took three days for him to find a small, isolated hut in the middle of that God-forsaken jungle. He cautiously entered and was knocked unconscious from exhaustion, and a sharp blow to the head.

When he awoke three days later, Dante was being watched over by an old, witch doctor-eske character covered in black paint and tribal tattoos. He spoke English quite fluently, and knew how to make Dante's favorite drink: Hot Chocolate. When Dante inquired about how the old man how he knew these things, he shrugged and stated, quite bluntly, that he had used his powers over the mystical arts to read Dante's mind while he slept. After the initial shock wore off, the Witch Doctor admitted, as a joke, that "English wasn't easy to learn, you know. Neither was that stupid drink." Dante was more then fascinated with this mans knowledge of the mystical, and his knowledge of the local flora, and asked if he could be taught. The Witch Doctor agreed, and for five long years Dante mastered the mystical energies surrounding himself and the rest of Grace, as well as learning to mix and manufacture the local flora into powerful medicines, anesthetics, and narcotics. He gained many scars, some physical and mental, during his harrowing apprenticeship, but he ultimately survived and made it back to the mainland thanks to his Witch Doctor creating a portal. Once back in the city, Dante made it to the closest government agency and punched in the secret code all the researchers had been given, allowing them to be tracked and identified as such. In seconds, mere seconds, he was surrounded by heavily-armed government officials and dragged to a remote warehouse for a rough debriefing and quarantine. He was examined and questioned for weeks, which seemed like months, before he was allowed to leave quarantine and speak with someone who wasn't wearing a HAZMAT suit. He was informed that he had to report directly to headquarters and undergo further examination, as he had been exposed to a myriad of diseases and managed to build an immunity; something that had never been done before.

Dante reluctantly agreed and walked with the heavily-armed escort, boarding the unremarkable car that would drive him to his inevitable death. On the way there, however, a battle between A.S.E.A. officers and a group of supers erupted. The ensuing projectiles ripped up the road, and knocked the vehicle around something awful. Dante had managed to create a magical barrier to save himself from an untimely death, but the other occupants of the vehicle lacked his mystical powers, and expired. It was then and there that he made a choice: Go report to headquarters and live the life of a secluded scientist, or live his own life. After taking a long look at the battle between the Supers and the A.S.E.A. agents, Dante decided that he would live for himself. Only himself, but to make spending money, he offered his talents to those with the right mind-set and bank account.

Since then, he has seen his fair share of carnage and murder, and has had more then enough. He wants nothing to do with anyone, really; he only wants to make enough money to buy a space-worthy ship and find his own planet.
