Perhaps I'm just a masochist, but I like to turn on the military songs, and play them. I cry like a baby for hours afterward, but, sometimes they bring me a peace of mind. Anyone know of any good songs like this? I know of quite a few, but I'm always looking for more. Always looking for songs to describe how I feel inside. Wanna list the songs that we know of? Crap, they don't even have to be military related ones. Just ones that remind us of our spouses, I suppose? I don't know where I'm going with this. But, here's some of my favorite songs, that remind me of Michael. Some military related, some not.

I seem to listen to a lot of country when I miss him. My playlist has been cluttered with it lately.
I actually discovered two military-ish related songs though through last.fm: American Soldier - Toby Keith [Really sad x.x; It just randomly came on when I was on a country station and I was all. WHYY DID YOU REMIND ME ABOUT THIS. D: ] and Letters from War (I forget who this one is by, but I heard the song before from a friend of mine who was born on a military base)
Here without You by 3 Doors down reminds me of him too. D: A lot of other ones too...I listen to too much music. lol xD

If you think American Soldier is sad, you should try Tim McGraw's "If You're Reading This". Michael has all but forbidden me from listening to it. Especially since we're discussing wanting a baby girl when he comes home.
Yep. Ditto on the country music. You should see my saved videos on Youtube. rolleyes Here Without You is a good one. Lifehouse's "I Miss You" really gets to me... "You have only been gone for 10 days, but already I'm wasting away.... ugh.
OH! Lonestar. I'm already there. That song makes me all crying

I LOVE Just a Dream by Carri Underwood though it is a really really sad song its good. I just hope I NEVER have to use it.
