A phobia is an irrational fear and they can be quite odd. I imagine a lot of us have them. A few of mine are:
Xanthophobia, the fear of the color yellow. Murophobia, the fear of mice and rats. Haphophobia, the fear of being touched. Hoplophobia, the fear of firearms.
I probably have others, but please share yours, if you'd be so kind. If you don't know the Latin, that's fine.

I don't know if what I have is actually a phobia, but I have always have this fear of something that is strange to explain.
It's like . . . .very large numbers. And distances. Especially if the numbers are money related. When I was little, I had really bad nightmares that I can't even describe.

Uh I have a few...
I'm afraid of Big Dogs, reptiles, amphibians, failure, becoming homeless, responsibility, going into debt farther, losing people I care about. That's really all I can think of.

Does calories count? @__@ I'm terrified of the dark, ha, laame. But I used to have night terrors so I sort of have an excuse.
