I've got a cop for a grandpa, so please don't try to tell me about them. Cops are, as a general rule, very stupid people with guns. I used to take Aikido with barflies, bikers and cops and for the life of me I could never tell the difference. Unless I can get them to hold my coat and call me sir, I'll be a happier person for having to deal with them as little as possible.

That's a really good question. It used to be a devotional thing, back before I converted out of that cult. Now it's because I just never liked the feel of scissors against my hair. Now, I considered tucking my hair into a jacket as was previously suggested. Doesn't work well. My mother suggested hiding it under my hat. I'd need a bigger fedora. I guess I just need time to think, so thanks for your input, both of you.
