So did anyone go to one? ..or two?
I went to three, our mall has both a Borders and a Hot Topic so a friend and I party hopped, we got a free cardstock poster from Hot Topic, and I bought Twilight candy from Borders [they weren't on the free merch bandwagon]. About 10 til midnight we went to Walmart and they were passing out pieces of sheet cake with the Twilight DVD picture on it!! They also gave out 'do not disturb I'm watching Twilight' door hangers and balloons [and if you asked they were also giving away the Twilight signs hanging from the ceilings and whatnot].
I was actually surprised at the amount of people, there were a lot but not as much as I thought. I thought it would pretty much be mass hysteria but people were relatively calm and quickly left the stores after they got their DVDs.
So did anyone else brave the crowds? See any scary people?? [I know I did!!!!!!!]
BTW: I wanted to cry because I ordered the Borders versions ONLINE and I didn't know that if I'd placed my order at the store I could have picked it up at the party instead of having to wait two more weeks for shipping!!!
