It goes without saying that everyone reading this probably loves gifts (and better yet, gifting!). But do you ever wish some of your out-of-guild friends could be part of the action? We probably all have friends outside of the guild who we adore and think deserve to be rewarded for just being awesome. So why shouldn't they get the recognition they deserve? This thread will forever fix this baffling question!

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Every three weeks, a nomination period will start. Each guild member may nominate one of their friends not in the guild during this period which will last for about one week. Each and every nominee will be listed in the entry below, and we will either vote by poll or by written posts (depending on the number of nominees) on who we believe is the most deserving a gift attack. The voting period will last for a week. After this comes the fun part: all participating will attack the lucky victim with gifts and the person who nominated them will have the pleasure of informing them just what the heck is happening. smile

A SIMPLER EXPLANATION

1. Nominations open for one week. Guild members nominate the friend they want attacked with gifts.

2. Nominations close, ballots open. We vote on our favorite victim for one week.

3. After the ballots have been counted, the victim of the month is announced.

4. We attack this lucky victim with gifts. The gifting period will last for up to a week.

5. Repeat.

Why should they be the Bonanza's VofM?:

To nominate your friend, you must post their username (this is important) and the reason you want them to be attacked with gifts. Sounds simple, but the explanation is key! A bad example, for instance: "I'm nominating my friend Parasol Pete because he is a good friend to me."

ABOUT GIFTING:

Also, though it is not at all mandatory that you must donate to the winning victim to participate, it would be really nice. It would be much more rewarding for the winning nominee to be ruthlessly bombarded with gifts than getting one or two. Gifts DO NOT have to be expensive -- we all know that the best part about receiving is the thought (and possibly the quirky messages that come with them!) after all!
