Tekki trapsed through the town, her potion-filled bag dragging her right shoulder down lower than her left. It wasn't often that she came into contact with other humans nowadays; she preferred to spend time with her Pokemon. Even now she had a few of them with her; Laili, Gash, Plato the Pidgeot, and one of her numerous Pidgeys were following along behind her. People just seemed so boring... Everyone was either depressed or angry when she saw them most days, too busy with daily life to have fun. What was the world coming to?
She was pondering taking Plato's wings back to the shack when she ran into an odd item not too far off from the town. Looking down from her skyward gaze, she blinked at the large toychest. "Well, that's random... Plato, you mind taking this to the house for me?"
Plato screeched and obeyed, grasping one of the handles in his claw as his chick, Fidget, grabbed the other. The weight of the chest overwhealmed the small bird, but Plato took up the slack. The duo looked comical flying off with the chest, and Tekki couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter.
It was a few hours before Tekki wandered back to her shack. She was distracted several times along the way, and even managed to catch a new Caterpie. The otherwise uneventful trip ended when Tekki pushed her door open to see that toychest, wide open.
"Oh, I forgot about that... Who opened you?" The trainer furrowed her brow and dropped her bag before wandering over to the chest and looking down.

An orange and blue blur popped out of the box, landing on the rim on one paw. The swift movement was accompanied by a whimiscal jingling noise, the source of which turned out to be bells on the tips of the Umbreon's jester cap. A jolly grin accompanied his entrance.
"'Allo, 'allo, ladies and gentlemen!"

Tekki, taken aback, squealed with glee. "Oh, another Umbreon! Aren't you just adorable! And your hat...! I'll call you Jingle, okay?" She jumped up and down, excited beyond measure at the prospect of gaining a new friend. And in such an interesting way, too!

Jingle nodded furiously, his pointed teeth showing a smile. "Well, well, my pretty lady! What a coinkydink! That happens to be my name anywho!" Jingle looked around the place, hopping up on the various pieces of furniture. The Umbreon was so preoccupied with his curiosity that he didn't even notice Voltaire swooping under the desk when he hopped onto the chair. "This place is just dandy! Yessiree!"

Tekki leaned down and patted Jingle on the head, restraining herself from another sqeal when the hat's bells issued their beautiful chime. "Say, little guy... That toychest will fit in my bedroom. Would you like to stay?" She pulled a Pokeball from her belt, pressing the button to enlarge it.

"Ooh~ This looks like a funny little joybuzzer! Is it for prop comedy?" Jingle reached out to the Pokeball and touched it, surprized when he was sucked into it by a red beam of light. The thing didn't so much as wiggle before the light went out to confirm the capture.

Tekki bounced up and down, stopping only when her face lit up. "Hey... His little hat just gave me an idea! Laili... Mind going into the city with me to visit the taylor?"
Laili smiled and nodded, hopping happily onto her trainer's shoulder. Whatever she was planning would be interesting...

After Tekki departed with the Leafeon, Jingle emerged from his Pokeball. "So... This is home now? Nice, nice... A box in a house... This could work! It could, hoho!"
