So there's a rumor that goes around Whammy's House at night...The one that it's mainly just an orphanage for training young and gifted children to be perfect copies of L, and that they only care about the smartest children...
That rumor may only be half wrong, because Roger and Quilsh love the children dearly...
But with the introduction of a new universe...
Can there really only be one perfect L copy to be made?
-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x--x-x-x-x-x- Okay, the RP goes down something like this:
1: Choose any character from any series to have as a Whammy's Child. 2: They may NOT be an OC. (This is to test your RPing skills.) 3: They MAY be younger versions of adult characters. (i.e., a nine-year-old Apollo Justice or an eight-year-old Allen Walker.) 4: L and Light and Mello and the rest of the Death Note cast are all free game. (But they still need a profile.) Even Watari and Roger are free, but they are exempt from the age changing. 5: Age limits are as follows; no younger than 4 and no older than 17 (meaning they can be four and seventeen). This does not apply to Roger or Watari. 6: Only five characters each may be assigned to a single letter, and no more. They also have to have a differentiation of the letter so we don't confuse them all. 7: Don't call the character by their true name; only use their letter or the codename assigned to them. 8: Make sure to post a small profile telling about your character to introduce us all. 9: You may only own up to three characters. 10: Any pairing is allowed as long as both RPers give consent to the pairing. However, the pairings can not get out of control; remember that these are still children.Profile Skeleton

((I'll start out first.))
Real Name: Apollo Justice Letter: A (His letter configuration is AJ) Code Name: Ace Series: Gyakuten Saiban 4 / Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice Age: 9 About: Orphaned at an early age, he has the natural ability to sense when another person is lying. Because of this blessing and curse, he has become secluded from the world, hates everything, and can not trust others fully. Maybe it's his abandonment, but he is a troubled youth.
Real Name: "Joshua" Kiryu Letter: J Code Name: Jack Series: The World Ends With You / It's a Wonderful World Age: 8 About: He is also secluded from the rest of the house, and he prefers to spend his time in a world of his own. When interacting with others, he is sarcastic and taunting, and since he has great observational skills, he can pick at whatever bothers you the most. He also has some special abilities, but he will not allow the others to see what they are. After all, everything is a secret with this boy as well as mostly a front.
Real Name: L Lawliet Letter: L Code Name: Ryuuzaki Series: Death Note Age: 14 About: He is a Whammy's child, through and through. He was the first and only copy of the great detective L, and he is the one whom all the other children try to emulate in order to become great. As a fourteen-year-old, he is already an accomplished detective, and has decided to spend some time at the orphanage that took him in when his parents were killed in a fire. He likes to visit with the children and see which ones the caretakers recommend to him; they seem more adamant about some than others.

((You seem to be the only one who ever has RPing ideas... sweatdrop ))
Real Name: Miles Edgeworth Letter: M (His letter configuration is mE) Code Name: Markle Series: Gyakuten Saiban / Ace Attorney Age: 10 About: When he was nine, his father was killed in a murder. Ever since, Miles has refused to speak even a single sound. Needing companionship from the right person rather than encouragement, Miles spends his time alone and staring out windows, even though he has a horrible fear od heights and elevators. He had two friends back where he lived, but he has no way to reach them now. His specialties are law, advanced schooling subjects, and memorization.
Real Name: Light (Raito) Yagami Letter: R Code Name: Reich Series: Death Note Age: 9 About: Another boy who lost his ability to speak, he refused to talk the moment they brought him into the orphanage. However, his problem went deeper than they expected. He is well versed in sign language and detective work and that of a police man, since his deceased father was a police man, but he has a terribly rebellious attitude and does not like to cooperate like he should. He also has a few memory problems, and some of the less important things will not stick in his long-term memory.
Real Name: Myrha Letter: M (His letter configuration is My) Code Name: Husky Series: +Anima Age: 11 About: A little rough on the edges and disdainful towards women, this boy is a very feminine beauty who has a talent for swimming and catching fish. He likes skin-tight clothing and cloaks or capes, and he is skilled with fighting with a staff or a spear. He has very pretty silver hair and gem blue eyes. His secret is a little difficult to hide, but he hides it well.

((Uh...I-I would like to try out, please...))
Real Name: Cooro Letter: C Code Name: Cache Series: +Anima Age: 11 About: He is a happy-go-lucky child with a knack for getting in trouble. He gets in trouble so much because of his special ability, which isn't kept a secret for the sake and fact that it can not be kept a secret due to the child's outgoing personality. This boy has the ability to grow crow's wings and can fly, but he is not allowed to use this ability often on the outside where others can see him. Instead, he grows wings on the inside of the building too much. He likes to make friends, to cook (and has quite a taste for cuisine), and has good public relation skills. Other than that, not much is known about the origins of this small boy except that his parents are dead.
Real Name: Phoenix Wright Letter: P (configuration is PW) Code Name: Phail Series: Gyakuten Saiban / Ace Attorney Age: 10 About: A shy and timid boy, he strangely can make friends very easily once others get to know him. He may be a little timid around others, but he does have a knack for making "turnabouts" in any situation, which would make him a great lawyer, and he has a good eye for observation skills. It's unclear why this boy was sent to the orphanage at so early an age; all that is known is that his father went missing and his mother died. He had two friends in his homeland, but he lost contact when the second disappeared and when he had to move because of his mother's death.
Real Name: Neku Sakuraba Letter: N (configuration is Nk) Code Name: Nacht Series: The World Ends With You / It's a Wonderful World Age: 9 About: This boy is a space cadet, preferring the company of his own music and headphones than that of other people. He likes his headphones and music the most, and is a gifted artist when it comes to the design of and painting art. He is a bit rebellious, and he does not like the company of others, so he is usually found alone when it all comes down to it. He has not even the slightest bit of interest in others, provoking them to call him names (and one to try and crack his shell). All this boy cares about, in the end, is himself. Both of his parents are deceased.

((Okaasan...>////< ))
Life was, undoubtedly, boring.
Life was boring and full of disappointments for the orange-haired child of nine. His parents were dead, leaving him only with his headphones for a souvenir. Now, all that was left was this extreme pointlessness in life and his art and music.
He didn't even know how he had stumbled upon the two things, but he had, and he accepted them as if they were his only lifelines. They may as well have been, for he kept his distance from the other children and stayed on his own, a recluse even inside the separated orphanage.
Of course, as there was he who had lost all hope, there were others who hoped to find their own lives.
The spiked black-haired boy of ten may have been shy and timid, but he was as charismatic as he was single-minded. Once started on a task, there was barely anything that could deter him from this job. Not even death itself could have pried his mind away from the task at hand until it had been completed.
His becoming an attorney was one example of his determined mind. He wanted to become an attorney in order to avenge the deaths of his parents and the deaths of the parents of most of the children in the orphanage. He was able to cling to his hope of someday finding a better world.
And while friends were a distant goal that the blue eyed boy rarely thought about, friends were all that others needed to keep their minds off of their sorrows.
The brown eyed, black-haired boy of eleven had his fair share of hardships in his life from being an orphan, but his mind was heavily burdened so unnaturally by these memories full of distraught that he had to find an escape.
His only escape was the sky.
They did not like for him to fly, but it was his only way of being really happy. By surrounding himself with friends who were always willing to smile and by soaring through the bright blue skies, the eleven-year-old could forget all of his troubles, all of his worries, even if only for just an instance.
Although he could be free, he would never remain free for long.
All of them were trapped in senses that could not quite be explained by words.
All of them were inside of a prison they could not break out of on their own.

Life sucked.
That much was assured for the brown-orange haired boy of nine. First of all, his parents died; he had loved his father and younger sister so fiercely that it just hadn't been enough anyways. They died, along with his mom, when the accident happened that had sent him to this orphanage.
That was point number two.
Point number three was that this place only seemed to be in existence in order to cultivate young minds and turn them to genius, and he couldn't stand organizations that were like that. They were only there to take advantage of the system his father had worked so hard in preserving.
Oh, his father...!
No, he couldn't allow himself to think about it now. Out in the hallways, everyone could see him. In his room, he had the solitude he needed in order to shed his tears and whisper quietly to himself.
He refused to talk to anyone else.
While he contemplated the downsides of life, another was desperately trying to look on the brighter side.
After all, even though he knew his father had been murdered and the murderer had walked free, he had lost his best friend in the exchange. But at the very least, he didn't have to go with that man, the one who had brought on his father's murder.
He missed his friend so very much...
But he couldn't allow himself to contemplate on that at all. What he needed to focus on was becoming a lawyer in order to help people like his father, who had been innocent, clear themselves of a false accusation made against them by the real culprit.
He wanted to help people so that he didn't have to feel his own pain ebbing from his heart.
He would have to close the wound; though some were lucky enough to have been left unscathed.
He hated women.
That was all that one needed to know about the silver-haired eleven-year-old before launching into a conversation with him.
He was also not very hospitable, and he had much disdain for the entire system of the orphanage. He would have rather been on the streets than in this demanding place.
So why was he still here?
He had nowhere else to go, seeing as he was a freak of nature now. No one could connect with him any longer, and he felt more like an outcast if he remained in this orphanage.
At least there were others there to take the pains out on; pains that shouldn't exist in the first place since his heart had closed itself to all outside contact.
At least there were others there still waiting.
At the very least...
((I'mma gonna borrow Lali's style...Yeah, it looked so cool. >3> ))

((Lovely. Absolutely lovely, really. I'll keep it going, then.))
Life was, after all, just a game.
A game that could end at any unsuspecting moment and that could cause the downfall of everything in existence. The silver-haired eight-year-old knew, of course, because he was the master. It was his predestination to have this role.
And he would play the role as well as he knew how; he was still fairly new to the predicament, after all.
But while he was new, others had more experience with hardships.
They seemed to plague the life of the hot-headed brown-haired nine-year-old, who was orphaned at an early age.
His mother hadn't wanted him; that's what he was told even at his first orphanage. Thinking it would help to get a new scenery, they had sent him to this place. Not like it mattered much, though, since all of these places were the same.
At least they learned here. He needed something to stave the boredom and depression away better than pills would. Not that he was an addict to anti-depressants; he had never even tried them before.
However, he was always feeling down. To cover up that sadness, he used anger.
Anger was not an option for most others.
Now if there was one thing that the black-haired teen of fourteen would have rather not thought about, it was picking a single successor.
They were all still children. They would still need more years of training under their belts before becoming a detective like he was. Some may have seemed ready to be graced with the title, but those were only some. The majority were still just children...
Roger didn't think like that, nor did Watari.
The two pestered him as long as he could remember after becoming simply "L" about this point. They wanted his answer soon for some odd reason.
Perhaps he could become too attached to a single child...?
That was a foolish fantasy that those caretakers had.
