iTuesday I went to one of those Twilight party things..and I am NEVER going to one again..well atleast not at Borders.
Oh, God, what made you go there? You should know by the gaian super-fans that large meetings of Twi-fans are just going to scream about Edward or Jacob for several hours. Going to such a meeting is aural suicide.

i would never go to a twi-fan convention for one main reason. those people are only there because of the movie. i loved the books but once to movie came out, people who were not even vamp fans in general came out and got the books and carry it around like an accessory. they are scene kids and i hate them. i hate Edward now. i love Alice! *smiles*

Mistress_Neon_Vampire i would never go to a twi-fan convention for one main reason. those people are only there because of the movie. i loved the books but once to movie came out, people who were not even vamp fans in general came out and got the books and carry it around like an accessory. they are scene kids and i hate them. i hate Edward now. i love Alice! *smiles* Yeah, the uberfans are so damned annoying! I agree completely that the books were good, but the movie murdered it! Also, one thing I've learned to despise about the twi-craze is that I can barely ever publicly discuss anything about us or this guild without being called a twi-f**!

I am so sick of seeing people gloating over the cullen family and not even really knowing ANYTHING about vampires! not to mention werewolves and other such creatures.I bet most people don't even know there are different classifications for vampires. I myself am not one and did enjoy the books alot, but i still did my research. And I was facinated with this sort of stuff ever since i was like...4 years old i think. now I'm 17 and have found out that i'm a demon! wow.. I sorta went off on a rant there, sorry guys. sweatdrop

However, tweens and teens can't help but get sucked into such a love story, especially with its vampire twist.

yeah. for me, i get sucked int almost ANY book as long as the plot is good. did i mention that I am 17, going on 18 in december? you know, I would reallyl ike to meet a real vampire face to face. it would be fun...except I am a little evil and would probably make sure I was bleeding somewhere in plain sight just to torment the vampire. but at the same time i would be willing to donate.
