Hello, Like I mentioned earlier, I have decided to host an avatar contest. I let you guys vote, and since it was a tie between Original and Outlook, I have decided to go with Outlook sort of. Hoshioni Nobody in particular suggested that we do a contest on self-expression. I thought that was a great idea, so I think that I will go with that one. So here it is.... We are doing an avatar contest on Self-ExpressionWhat this means, is that you get to make an avatar that represents you. This does not mean that it necessarily has to look like you in real life, but look like what you are as a person. So if you're a girl, but you feel like you are more masculine, you could make a guy avatar... or if you really have blonde hair, but your favorite color is green you could give it green hair. Make sense? RULES FOR AVATAR SUBMISSIONS:: - You may use either TekTek OR Gaia.- Avatar must be a representation of who you are as a person. - You may only submit one avatar. - Have a description of how this avatar represents you. - Post your submission on this topic, and I will put it in the lineup. Use the form that I have at the bottom of the first post as a guild to how to submit. - Submissions will be accepted from March 18 to April 4.
VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE APRIL 5 UNTIL APRIL 18.

Description of My Avatar::
The Red and black hair stands for my old hair style. I used to have red and black hair for about four years, loved it to death, but had to get rid of it due to the fact that i needed to be viewed as an adult.
The mask is to symbolize the mask that I always feel like I need to put up. Almost no one knows the real me.
Scars/scratches on the face, and the bloody bandage symbolize the fact that I used to cut/self injure, and even though I don't necessarily do that anymore, it has helped mold me into the person I am today.
The cigarette stands for the fact that I smoke.
The jersey my avatar is wearing symbolizes my old soccer jersey. I love soccer still to this day, but one year my jersey actually looked a bit like that except i was always number 66, not 11.
Rainbow sash stands for my OCD... Everything has to be in rainbow order.
Child stands for my career of choice. I currently am a nanny, but one day hope to be a child psychologist.
Piercings on this avatar stand for my own piercings, I have five, my asperation is to have ten though. I have two in my ear lobes, two in my cartilage (helix), and one eyebrow... I want my labret, tongue, two more in my lobes, and maybe my nose.
Bottle stands for alcohol. I drink occassionally, love Fireball Whiskey, Mikes, and Smirnoff Ice.
Boxers showing is to symbolize the fact that I wear boxers, and the boy pants symbolizes that I wear boy clothes. Both true, I prefer guys clothes although Im a girl.
Shoes are converse, I love converse. They're comfortable.
And the ball with chain is to show that I feel trapped in my current situation in life.

Although they cannot be seen, the GO Phones reflect my adoration of music. It's rare for me to be without headphones or earphones.
The Musketeer's hat and the Feathers overlapping it are to show my great appreciation of hats (Feathered ones, even better).
The mask, I use partly for the same reason as -Sniffle-Doodle-. As a bonus, I've been told that I tend not to 'have the right expression' for a given situation. It's been said that I smirk when I should look sorrowful, and irritated when I should be happy, etcetera. So, the full-face mask would hide that.
The scarf is a vague nod to my usual attire; I quite like to wear scarves. They're rather comfortable, and I like to see them blowing in the wind.
Black clothing, what I frequently wear. I don't wear it for an image, I just happen to be fond of black.
The white patches on the jeans are supposed to be similar to patches of paint. I could have used a paintbrush for the effect. In any case, I like art.
I'm almost always wearing boots; I feel uncomfortable in anything else.
The cuffs were the closest I could get to expressing my appreciation of older clothing styles. Long frilly cuffs would have been better, but this was a hasty job in Tektek.
The hideous smog? My uncertainty. The fact that I like foggy weather, too.
Other people are much better at describing me, or aspects of me. When I try to think about myself, I can think of nothing clear.
It also would show my uncertainty for the future, not knowing what lies ahead. I've no idea what I'm going to do in a few years time.
I would have liked to have found an item which captured 'preferred solitude'. I've my reasons, but I'll keep them to myself.

Afore all else, I do apologise for using a certain item. It's a repulsive thing, and the only time I'd ever consider using it is for this. It's the Smoke Grenade.
